I wasn’t going to leave this review but the manager at this hotel doesn’t want to refund my $600 one night stay so now I will. I booked a single night at this hotel for 3 people in 1 Room with 2 Beds. When we arrived, we noticed the bathroom floor tiles were stained with a red substance that wouldn’t come off but we weren’t even going to comment on that, despite how gross it is and this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. What I did feel the need to comment on was the fact that our shower had basically no water pressure. The water trickled out of the shower head. It wasn’t possible for any of us to shower. We noticed this at around 1230a when we got back to our room to shower. I call down to the front desk and they say they will send a tech up to “fix it”. The tech comes up around 1a and confirms our water pressure is awful but he says he cannot fix it (because duh). The following morning prior to check out I call down to the manager. He tries to offer me Marriott points. I say I want a refund. He says I need to call Chase Travel/Expedia to get a refund so I do. Chase Travel then calls the manager and he offers me $200 refund off my $600 reservation. I declined this ridiculous offer because this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel and that’s absurd. So yeah, 1 star. Next time just give the refund when you screw up. It’s really that simple. 3 people in one room and no ability to shower? Unacceptable.

We booked a Ritz Hotel suite at over $500 per night, expecting exclusive hotel standards and service. However, there was mold in the bathroom, dirt around the toilets, and the bathtub had peeling paint! To make matters worse, there was no free internet in the rooms. I thought that was a basic standard in 2024. Is this really 5 star hotel?! We spent over $2,000 for four nights, and I am very disappointed. Will not recommend to any of New Orlean visitor.

This review is over due. My sister and I had a wonderful experience at the New Orleans Ritz. This is a great place to stay if you want to get away for the noise of Bourbon street in the evening but still close enough to walk during the day to all the sites and attractions. The concierge Rudy went above and beyond to meet our needs. Excellent service. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Enjoyed a great stay at the RC in NOLA last week. Amazing location on the corner of Canal and Bourbon Streets; close to everything fun, but still safe and quiet enough to sleep soundly.Although the hotel itself is showing its age, it is being renovated—quietly, we never heard as much as a nail being hammered—and the service staff are topnotch.Very nice restaurant and bistro, with a live 5-piece jazz band and dancing most nights. Breakfast buffet available on weekends along with regular breakfast from the menu. Full menu room service as well.Perhaps our favourite surprise was the champagne vending machine. A classy addition to a classy hotel.

We wanted a nice hotel that was close to all the fun things to do in New Orleans. We were not disappointed! The hotel was nice, had drinks in the mini fridge, and a TV that you could order room service from. The rooftop had a great view of the city. We were able to walk to Burbon Street in about 10 minutes and have a blast there. Valet will take care of your car. Tambria and Sanaa at the front desk were great and very helpful as well.

Absolutely amazing! Second trip to visit Virgin hotel and it never disappoints. The hotel is cool with fun artwork and overall genuinely beautifully designed, but my favorite part is the staff. Every Single Employee is kind, thoughtful, and cares about every guest. Thank you so much for making my birthday and my husband’s first trip to NOLA so spectacular.

Our 1st visit to New Orleans was amazing! From Bourbon St, the upper and lower French Quarter, the WWII Museum, the paddle boat jazz brunch, the ghost tours, the FOOD. Magnificent. With all of that, the best part of our 21st anniversary trip was the hotel. The Virgin Hotels - New Orleans. Great location, beautiful room and the service from the staff was outstanding. There was a gentleman there, Ryan B. - I'm embarrassed that I forgot his last name! I would love to hire him for my company. He was absolutely perfect in every way. Found myself coming into the lobby before my days started just to get a chance to speak with him. The entire staff there is amazing - and I feel terrible about not being able to recall anyone else's name, but THIS guy is a rock star. Would be interesting to see what he could do with the next Virgin property that opens.

New Orleans is truly a gem of a city to visit. But what made it more enjoyable was our stay at the Virgin Hotel - New Orleans. The room was excellent, the amenities truly met all of our needs. The food was awesome and the staff was was unforgettable. We look forward to coming back and staying here and staying at other Virgin properties.

I had a concerning experience during my recent stay. At check-in, the front desk staff announced my room number out loud twice, which made me uncomfortable. When I reached my room, I found the door slightly open and the TV on. Inside, there was a man who claimed to be a maintenance worker fixing the air filters. When I asked if the AC was broken, he ignored me and moved towards the bed area. Feeling uneasy, I returned to the front desk. The staff seemed confused about any maintenance work and moved me to a different room.During a previous visit over a year ago, the door to my room was freshly painted without any warning, resulting in ruined clothes and paint on my skin. They offered only a small discount at that time. The hotel itself is charming, but the customer service and safety need significant improvement.

I recently stayed at the Virgin Hotel in New Orleans and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel itself is stylish, modern, and incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities you could ask for. The location is perfect, allowing easy access to the vibrant culture and nightlife of New Orleans. However, what truly made my stay exceptional was the amazing staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone was friendly, professional, and eager to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. I especially want to give a shout-out to Lance, who works at the coffee counter. His warm smile and friendly personality were a refreshing start to my mornings. Lance went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed, and his genuine kindness made a lasting impression.I highly recommend the Virgin Hotel in New Orleans for anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay with an outstanding team that goes above and beyond. Thank you, Lance, and the entire Virgin Hotel staff, for making my visit so memorable!

I'd say that my first stay experience at a Virgin hotel has been good. Even though a bit small, the rooms are quiet and comfortable. The hotel design (outside and inside) is very cool and modern. A few things that prompted me to give it a 4-star review: The upstairs pool is too small to be used really and is there more for decoration. Also the reception area is always very packed because the space is too small, forcing the existing customers to temporarily get stuck behind a bunch of new guests or have a hard time navigating through the crowd - please consider having another door available for use by existing customers. Overall I enjoyed the stay and I'll definitely visit again.
