The view from the top is the best. You have a view of the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial. It is stunningly beautiful. Both night time view and day time view is great. I was there for a company outing and must say that they had some great food during the day. Their tacos and ice cream were out of this world.

5-star service through and through. Some 5-star hotels end up lacking in some way but this one is top-notch, as expected from InterContinental. After we arrived and got out from our uber, we were immediately greeted outside the door and all our luggage was taken. We were given a tag with our name for the luggage, and after my room was ready, they sent the bags up.It was way before check in time, but I went to check in anyway. Friendly staff, they texted me at 1pm to let me know my room was ready while I went out and about. The premium room was lovely and spacious with comfortable pillows and mattresses. The Byredo toiletries smelled so good. Anything I wanted or needed throughout my stay, I got by texting the hotel staff number for help (though I barely needed to, since they texted to check on us everyday).Anywhere you go, doors will be opened for you. The food in the hotel is delicious and high-quality.My little sister got to borrow kids books from the concierge office and received Duck Bucks, which she redeemed for ice cream at Le Cafe. She also signed the Declaration of Independence, which concierge hung up on the wall. The architecture of the hotel is incredibly beautiful. At one point there was a live harp performance towards the tea alley area. The location is amazing. I was able to walk pretty much everywhere. Will definitely be staying at this hotel every time I come to DC!

A great experience in this hotel. Igmar at the lobby and Natalie at the front office were extremely kind and did my stay so enjoyable. I could feel the genuine of their customer service. And the location of this hotel is really convenient. Next to the White House.

King room was nice and roomy. 12th floor quiet. Bed was comfortable. Had breakfast and avocado toast and cappuccino were both good. All staff professional and courteous.

This is my nitty gritty down and dirty review. When I arrived, staff was friendly. I was not helped with my bags on arrival to the hotel. I was given my hotel key card and shown how to get to my room.First impression was subpar, the lock on the door had loose screws. The desks outlets did not work and one of the outlets on the nightstand was pushed in. Making it impossible to use. The furniture also had dings and scraps from previous guests accident. Now, I did call to have these things fixed and they did come quickly to fix what they could.Overall the hotel is beautiful. The room was spacious and nice. I did receive an upgrade as well from the front desk staff.Concierge was not very helpful. I went to ask what they was to do around the city at night and he gave me a few generic options. They were also doing construction all week next to my room so, I was unable to sleep in and it got quite noisy during the day.The hotel was nice, staff was friendly, but it didn’t give off the 5 star hotel vibe I expected.

Excellent location, rooms are very good but a needs refreshing, service was nice but the breakfast at the Café was more than average. Overall the luxurious infrastructure and location next to the White House is what stands out. Price is high enough for all this. The business lounge is very poor and the size of 2 desks, it’s impossible to have a business meeting expect in the main corridor, the bar, café or up in a room. When I asked about a place I could have meeting, the front desk told me that I shall not have it in the main corridor where there are couches, seats for people to seat and discuss. Hard to believe.

Went to the bar to have a few drinks and loved the place. Great spot to take people and unique drinks. Staff was friendly as my wife wasn't sure what drink she wanted so they were patient and walked her through the whole menu.

Everything about this crown jewel was perfection. The location (5 mins from the White House and many other attractions), the food, the room quality and decor, and the service were equally unparalleled. Room prices accurately reflect the high level of service and the decor is so ornate and regal; dare I say, “presidential?” The purpose of this trip was to visit our nations capital and see the sights but in the end, it’s this very hotel that stuck in my mind the most fondly out of everything. Well done!

I had my wedding celebration at The Jefferson last month and to say the night was magical would be a huge understatement. From the event coordinators, managers, and staff; the hotel provided the best service. The food was fantastic and presented beautifully. The pastry chef is an artist! The rooms are stately and unique. Everyone was very inviting and welcoming. I cannot stop raving about my experience at The Jefferson.

I chose to visit DC and felt right at home at The Jefferson. Its proximity to numerous local restaurants and attractions is a definite plus. The hotel is a true gem, providing a sense of security throughout my stay. Don't miss out on grabbing a drink at the hotel bar, Quill. The staff was outstanding, offering exceptional hospitality from start to finish. A special thanks to Jada Brown for her warmth and hospitality. I highly recommend staying here.

I accidentally stumbled across this hotel, and ended up falling in love! Every single employee I interacted with went above and beyond to provide superior customer service, and they made me feel like their most important guest. So many personal touches and attention to detail, and the rooms were immaculate and beautiful. I was truly sad to leave. After a full day of sightseeing, I even sat in the beautiful library waiting as long as I could before departing for the airport. Cannot wait to stay here again! Easy walk to the White House, then I hopped on a trolley tour from there. Just book it! You won’t regret it!! A true gem.

I had such a wonderful stay at the Jefferson. The service was impeccable and the entire team takes pride in providing a wonderful customer experience. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated and it was nice taking advantage of the soaking tub. I was there celebrating a recent promotion and the team left the sweetest surprise and card for me upon arrival that was a really nice touch. Bar Quill is a lovely spot with some creative drinks and great food - be sure to stop by while you are there. I had such a lovely time I booked another visit in August while checking out.Big thanks to Katie, Amber and the doormen (I didn’t catch their names) for taking such great care of me!

Wow! What a remarkable place to stay. We booked here to celebrate our One-Year Anniversary and we couldn’t have been more pleased. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, the staff at the Jefferson never disappointed. They tended to our every need and then some! When we arrived, we were immediately greeted at the door and welcomed inside. We arrived before our room was ready and they advised us that they would notify us by text when our room was available and that our luggage would be in our room when we returned. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was amazing! The turn down service was some of the best I’ve seen. Once we arrived back that evening, we noticed that chocolate covered strawberries (that we didn’t ask for) and a card from the hotel congratulating us for our Anniversary had been placed atop the mini bar. They really went above and beyond each day of our stay to make us feel welcomed in every way possible. As far as dining at the hotel goes, we didn’t get the opportunity to try The Greenhouse but we did visit Quill each night we were there. Andrew and Amber at Quill provided absolutely excellent service, great humor, pleasant conversation, and great recommendations on their menu items. Our stay was more enjoyable than we anticipated.Thank you to all the staff at Jefferson and Quill! We will be back!
