We love this place. It was a good night in a bad week. Our motorhome broke down far from our home in another state and after getting a no at every place we called we finally found America's Best and got a yes, even with our dog, a nice room and a good breakfast. We will definitely stay here again minus the motorhome.

When I first came into the hotel, the smell hits you like a whiplash. It was the definition of hell of a hotel, and you couldn't even pay me to sleep here. The smell was a concoction of vomit, dog pee, and dog poop, It was a true living nightmare. The rooms were actually decent other than the horrendous smell, and I wish the smell wouldn't had driven me away. I feel the rooms were nice, but couldve used a bit of a touch up. The smell haunted the rooms, hallways, stairs, and just respectfully everywhere, it was a sensitive nose nightmare. This hotel really would've been just enjoyable if it hadn't reeked like a pure crime scene.

Actually there is only one thing to complain about and that is the bathtub where the coating is badly damaged. Otherwise great like the staff, whirlpool, sauna, rooms, and sufficient breakfast. THANK YOU also for the great price-performance ratio (only 50 euros in August).

I know these hotels advertise with third parties for their rooms. But should using third party to book a room eliminate customers from other typical discounts? As a disabled Veteran and senior I think those discounts should apply! Also, “pet friendly “ is doubtful since my 5 lb Morkie cost an additional $20 for 1 night! And signs all over outside say no dogs allowed? To add insult to injury we were charged an additional $10 to check in 45 minutes early!Breakfast was minimal! Tub/shower peeling. Not my first choice for repeat visits to this chain!

Stayed at this motel for 1 night with family while visiting Frankenmuth. Great location, close to Frankenmuth and Birch Run, very convenient. Rooms were clean, bathroom needs to be updated (but still functional). When we checked in, one of the 3 rooms had AC that blew very little cold air. We asked the front desk, Chris was very helpful and let us know that she will look into this while we go out to dinner. When we got back, she told us that she fixed the issue but to let her know if it's still a problem and she will assign us a new room. No issue and we had a good night sleep. Breakfast was continental, but enough to get us started. All in all, great basic accommodation with reasonable rates.

Loved the employee's Pet friendlyBut room needs a deep clean. Hot Tub area Floor needs Deep cleaned. But the price was perfect $70. Then $20 for the pet. Beds were clean. But carpet corners bathroom counter and corners need deep cleaned. This is a nice place. That with doing some room to room deep cleans would really make a difference. I just wasn't going to complain with it being late at night and with a pet. Again staff were Amazing

Prior to arrival, I received an email informing me of a room upgrade. I used digital check-in and was assigned a corner room on the 3rd floor. I went directly to the room and found a door that looked like someone had taken a crowbar to open it. Chunks were missing. The carpet was stained, and the room smelled musty. I was given a new room that smelled like deodorizer over cigarette smoke, had burn marks in the carpet, and had a door that wouldn't stay shut unless you slammed and yanked it. The third room was no longer considered an upgrade; however, it was decent enough. Just be warned that the soap is mounted so high up on the wall that you have to be over 5 ft tall to reach it. The lobby and breakfast areas were recently updated, but the coffee and "hot" water were barely luke warm. I informed two different employees at the front desk of the room issues, and neither seemed particularly interested. They were apathetic at best. Also, as a Hilton Honors member, I'm supposed to receive a bottle of water and snack on check-in. Neither were offered, and there was no apology made when I inquired. She simply shrugged and said, "You used digital check-in, so I didn't bother to look." No one was particularly rude, but no one was particularly interested in helping either

Well once again I'm in Michigan and for the 10th time staying here. The lobby is all nice and decorated but the rooms are not in good shape. Your rooms need to be remodeled and badly. The toilets old, paint falling off the ceilings, the vanities old the tiles old the carpets got stains on it and the whole place smells like chemicals to hide the funk. And the pull down curtain was all ripped up.Please remodel your hotel, I've been coming there for years. I don't know why you guys have let the place get so bad. Thank you.

Our room lacked a curtain for the window. We woke up to discover thusands of ants trailing from under the wall to infest my service dogs food. The hot tub doesn't work. The bathroom in our room was dirty. I do not recommend this hotel.

We stayed there over the weekend (5/3-5/5). The hotel was under construction which we were not notified about. In order to get to the pool, we had to go outside. The rooms where disgusting, I had so much dust in my window we could take it out with out hands. Paint was peeling, the showers were not cleaned properly, the room my sister and her family stayed in smelled like straight mold. The toilets' where so short you'd think it was made for a toddler! There is only 1 elevator for the whole hotel and it sounded like it was going to break down anytime you got on it, we ended up taking the stairs to the 3rd floor because of it. The ''breakfast'' was stale bagels, watery eggs and cereal. Since its in the remodeling phases, it was in the meeting room which was right by the door that they check you in at, right by all the construction of the lobby and it was so hot and small in the room that it felt damp. It was terrible. 1/5 stars.
