If I could have rated service higher, I would have. Jeremy and Mark's hospitality and breakfasts are second to none. The house and grounds are loved and beautifully maintained- a wonderful retreat. The location is easy to find and a quick drive to downtown or other attractions.

This is my 3rd time visiting the Inn At Woodhaven, and it was better than ever! LOVE what the new owners have done. Breakfast is always incredible, and the hospitality and care are unmatched. It's located close to literally everything, and the beautiful park across the street was a special treat for early morning walks. I also highly recommend their massage therapist who does in-house service. She was amazing!

This place is amazing! The house has been kept in perfect condition, and the owners are so welcoming and friendly. You walk through the doors to be greeted with a homemade cookie bar and the smell of baking pastries for the following day's breakfast. After checking in, you get a tour and history of the house. Unlike most B&Bs, you can sit at a small table with your partner and order whatever you would like from the menu. Everything is delicious! We would definitely return for another visit and highly recommend the Inn at Woodhaven!

Louisville was the last stop on our vacation to Tennessee and Kentucky and turned out to be the highlight of our trip. We were excited to stay at this Bed and Breakfast as we love historical homes, and were thrilled that the pictures did not do it justice. It truly is a remarkably beautiful home. The owners Mark and Jeremy make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. You get a short tour of the home and its history before settling into your room. There are fresh baked cookies and other treats available 24 hours baked by the owners. Additionally, there are fresh baked cakes to choose from for during breakfast as well. Breakfast is severed from a menu which is unusual for a B&B. Here you have your choice of what you want each day. The property is close to the bourbon trails of Kentucky and wineries as well as Old Town Louisville. It is a short drive to downtown as well. Our room was so amazing, and we felt so at home and were enjoying the house so much we never made it to downtown. We did not want to leave! The other guests were friendly and engaging and we found ourselves sitting for a couple of hours talking to other guests. If you are looking for a place to stay in Louisville, just outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown, this is your place. Thank you Mark and Jeremy for making the end of our vacation rememberable.

The Inn at Woodward is a Gothic masterpiece, beautifully appointed with historical significance. The innkeepers, Jeremy and Mark, have identified and provided every comfort. They make tasty goodies available throughout each stay and serve an incredible breakfast menu. Our room was luxurious yet comfortable. We would travel hours to experience such a stay and are quite fortunate to enjoy this experience right here in Louisville. Thanks to Jeremy and Mark for a truly memorable visit!

If your looking for the perfect B&B , the Inn At Woodhaven is your destination!!! The host's and owners Jeremy and Mark have a beautiful historic and very well appointed Victorian Gothic style home, one of 14 only in the United States. Warmly greeted and brought into the fold of their home and business, you truly feel like your home. The breakfast was truly a delight being made to order and delicious coffee to boot. Close to Old Town Louisville and a short drive to many Bourbon distillery's and vineyards there is something for everyone. Kentucky in the fall may be mine and my partners new go to. Thank you so much for sharing and preserving with high standards a gorgeous piece of history!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at The Inn at Woodhaven for two nights to celebrate our 3-year wedding anniversary, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, Jeremy and Mark were the perfect hosts. Jeremy welcomed us with a tour of the property, sharing fascinating details about the history and architecture of the house. He pointed out the original features and the impressive renovations they've done, beautifully blending the period style with modern comforts. We stayed in the Garden Room, which was quaintly decorated and featured a luxurious tub – a perfect touch of indulgence. The attention to detail in maintaining the charm of the house while ensuring modern amenities did not go unnoticed. The living room offered complimentary drinks and cookies, making us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the in-room massages provided by Tammy, a local therapist. We booked in advance, and Tammy gave us back-to-back massages, adding a layer of relaxation to our stay that we deeply appreciated.Being vegetarians, we were thrilled with how Mark accommodated our dietary needs for both breakfast and the tea time we ordered to our room. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable.Overall, our stay at The Inn at Woodhaven was everything we hoped for and more. We highly recommend this B&B and look forward to returning in the future.

We stayed 2 nights at the beautiful Louisville Bourbon Inn and were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. The home is beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfortable. Allen was a wonderful host and prepared a chef’s quality breakfast each morning. It was hard to say goodbye but I’m sure we’ll be back again. Thank you, Allen!

Louisville Bourbon Inn was overall a wonderful B&B.I want to say that starting off with the offer of a special cocktail "old fashioned" was lovely. Even nicer was when we quickly left with friends for dinner that the coctails were placed into the freezer for our later enjoyment. Thank you Allen - very nice!We stayed in the Carriage House (just across a lovely private garden area) Kentucky Classic Suite, It was a quiet & beautiful 2nd floor room with views to the garden & park across the street) (2 rooms on 2nd floor and 1 on first). There is a small bar & kitchen area as well as large living room & dining table on main floor. Perfect space for gathering. We met some friends who stayed in the Mint Julip room in the Main house. Their room was nice and only few complaints/issues were with the squeaky stairs and a noisy couple that was allowed to come in well after midnight. Next night the "late nighters" were very boisterous in the Library - which is on the second floor next to bedrooms. I suspect that other guests would agree that it would be helpful if there was a small sign regarding "quiet hours" & respect was shown for those who may wish to enjoy their quiet/room after 9 pm- It should be noted there a very nice option for get togethers in the main floor living Room space adjoing the dining room. It looked like there may be old georgeous wood pocket doors that could be utilized for more privacy. The Halloween decor was fun and had nice touches throughout the house. (Note we found the "side door" - park side- has doorbell, info, keypad/entry that might be a bit difficult to recognize for checking in when the front is chained off and closed)One last note on the Breakfast --- it was a bit disappointing. Please don't think me too picky or unappreciative but seeing some prior photo's I expected something else. The scrambled eggs/bacon & toast first morning and sausage biscuit gravy on second morning was fine, not too salty or overcooked, but nothing fantastic. The fresh organic orange juice was appreciated but lack of fresh fruit at such a wonderful place was disappointing as other upscale B&B seemed to always provide either a first course of fruit or provide fresh seasonal fruit with the main presented with a touch of style. Please forgive my too honest info above, but bottom line is I would stay here again! Wonderful place and nice neighborhood with excellent, attentive owners. (Who were willing to reset the temperature in our room late one night --- great text responses too)

What a wonderful place. I don’t know locations that well but it seemed that whenever we wanted to go someplace it was never far. The old house was beautiful, very well decorated and charming. We actually stayed in the “carriage house” which is steps away from the old house. This place was also well decorated and perfect for us.The breakfasts were wonderful. Allen, our host prides himself as a chef AND bartender AND handyman, everything he needed to be to run the Inn. Allen was the perfect host, well mannered helpful and ready to help anyway he could. HAVE HIM MAKE YOU AN Old Fashion. This was by far is one of the best I have ever had. Thank You Allen for a wonderful time.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. The rooms reflect the gentility of the Old South but they also have modern amenities (bathrooms). Allen was the consummate host, not only meeting our needs but anticipating them. And he is a marvelous chef; breakfasts were stupendous. If we return to Louisville, we would not stay anywhere else.

We had a wonderful experience. From the time we made our reservations until the time we checked out everything was fantastic. Allen was the perfect host. We asked for a Anniversary celebration package for our friends and it was fabulous. Wine, roses and chocolate coverd strawberries. The mansion is beautiful and welcoming. Historic neighborhood. Our room was very comfortable. Allen was so helpful and accommodating, from assisting with dinner reservations to the amazing breakfasts, wonderful homemade cookies to the fabulous old fashions! We would highly recommend the Louisville Bourbon Inn!

My husband and I from Southwest Florida visited Louisville, KY mid September 2024. We love staying in Bed & Breakfast accommodations and the Louisville Bourbon Inn was one of THE BEST B&B's that we have been to! Nestled in Old Louisville, this Victorian mansion was both historic and beautiful. Both Jeff and Allen were superb hosts as Jeff was top notch in communicating with us before our stay by phone and email to touch base with us and answer questions prior to our arrival. Upon arrival and throughout our stay, Allen was there to make us feel at home and make sure that our stay was perfect! We loved everything about our stay. The home is wonderfully decorated, well-kept and clean. Our room, the Manhattan Suite was perfect with a super comfortable bed! There are 2 separate common sitting areas in the home to relax after a long day out exploring, as well as delicious drinks made by Allen himself. Allen's Old-Fashioned and Manhattan cocktails were absolutely delicious and the perfect welcome drinks, as well as wonderful evening drinks! And this review would not be complete without mentioning the fantastic home-cooked breakfasts by Allen every morning! Everything from a spinach-cheese omelet, to sausage & gravy with a poached egg and even Bananas Foster French Toast amongst others, as we stayed there for for a full week and got to partake in 6 mornings of delicious breakfast meals in a gorgeous dining room! Overall, we highly recommend the Louisville Bourbon Inn to anyone reading this and have already told all of our friends and family to go there too! And we will definitely be back to stay when we are in that area in the future, maybe one day for the Derby!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming B&B in Louisville! Allen was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was beautifully decorated, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious—make with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. And even better was the bourbon! On offer was an impressive selection of flights and cocktails, available to enjoy in your room or in one of the beautiful common areas. For anyone seeking a memorable and uniquely Louisville experience, we can't recommend this B&B enough!
