I absolutely loved my stay the best hotel sleeping bed ever. Staff was attentive courteous and genuinely great. It was busy because of all the people in town for One Music Fest but still flowed. Valet staff was perfect it was worth it
My friend and I came here for a spa visit for my birthday. We did the pomegranate polish with healing soles add on and I was extremely disappointed. First the day before I got a call saying that they had a conflict and needed to move the time 30 minutes earlier. When I asked if they could adjust the other persons schedule instead of mine they said they couldn’t. Then we arrived 1 minute late and there was only 1 person at the front desk so after waiting a couple minutes she called another person to the front desk. However, since we had to wait this took more time, now that time had passed they were literally rushing us. We were trying to get undressed however the changing area was so little & there were 5 of us in there trying to change at once when our massage therapist came to get us. They take us back and proceed to tell us that we can’t do our massages in the same room when we were supposed to be in the same room. Then we go to our separate rooms & I realized I ended up accidentally leaving my shower cap in the locker. I proceed to try to get it but my massage therapist was outside the door & when I was explaining to her all my hair will not fit in the small cheap shower cap they provided she proceeded to say that we didn’t have time bc we’re already late & I could get it if I want but we’re short on time. So now I’m really feeling stressed & rushed. I go back in the room & lay on the bed for the massage & the lady is rushing & talking the whole time. I was not relaxed at all, she finished up in a hurry…then it was time to wash the scrub off. I wash it off & then lay back in the bed, I was thinking I was getting a massage but all she did was oil me down. I could’ve literally done this at home for much cheaper smh. After we finished I met my friend in the relaxation area & she shared the same sentiments with me. When checking out the guy was supposed to add 20% off for the schedule change which my friend inquired about and then he realized he forgot to add the discount. He added the discount and we checked out. I do not recommend this place, they have work to do. Also not sure why there were not surfaces on their light switches, it’s not a good look!
We had a senior management visit and we took 4 suites at the hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff were pretty awesome with recommendations, support and extremely polite. The food was good as well (had Alfredo pasta). Location was tucked in the middle of downtown with mostly unfriendly Atlanta traffic however the hotel was peaceful and picturesque. Loved it ❤️
I hosted my sister's bridal shower at the Four Seasons Atlanta this weekend and everything was perfect! The staff was absolutely amazing. I want to say a special thank you to Emma who took care of us and all of our guests. Emma made sure that everyone had what they needed and she went out of her way to provide exceptional service. I would like to thank Mary as well for making the planning process so simple and easy. Thank you to all the staff at the Four Seasons Atlanta. This was the first event I've had at the Four Seasons Atlanta and due to the amazing experience, I will definitely have more events here in the future!
The rooms in this hotel are average at best. The price does not match the room at all. Four Seasons around the world are luxurious hotels with world class service, however this one in Atlanta is an exception. They have twice sold a room to me and when I arrived the room that I booked wasn’t available. The front desk people are often not available. The rooms are not well kept. The toilet in my room this last weekend wasn’t even cleaned. The door to the cabinet with the refrigerator in it was coming off. My sheets had an odor on them.I am lobbying hard to have American Express fine hotels and resorts to remove this property from its partnership. If you want the same Four Seasons experience you have in Calabasas and other places around the country and world, do not expect it here.
Here for a work trip and have had a great time! Front desk was super helpful and rooms are beautiful. The bartender Taylor was amazing as well! Super friendly and a sweetheart! She made us two of her cocktails (not on the menu) but were exactly what we wanted and gave us suggestions of things to do in the city for our one free day! Thank you again Taylor!
As someone who has traveled extensively around the world, I can confidently say that my recent stay at Kimpton, Shane Hotel in Atlanta was by far the worst I've ever encountered. Despite the hotel's clean rooms and decent accommodations, the abysmal service overshadowed any positive aspects. The staff at Kimpton, Shane Hotel were shockingly unreliable and provided the poorest service imaginable. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority. The lack of professionalism and attentiveness was evident in every interaction. To make matters worse, the quality of the food was utterly disappointing. The call of food was atrocious, and it was evident that little care or effort went into its preparation. This lack of attention to detail further emphasized the overall disregard for guest experience.Despite the hotel's physical cleanliness and decent room quality, these aspects were completely overshadowed by the extremely bad service. I would never, under any circumstances, recommend Kimpton, Shane Hotel to anyone unless significant changes are made to address the glaring issues with service and food quality. In conclusion, my experience at Kimpton, Shane Hotel was nothing short of a disappointment. It's clear that the management needs to take immediate and drastic measures to improve the level of service and overall guest experience before I would even consider staying there again.
Loved everything about this hotel. Modern, walking distance to Atlantic Station and many other places like Starbucks, the Theatre etc.. They have an amazing bar (Brittany was great)!Outstanding customer service (Chantelle) front manager was also amazing and pleasant to deal with. Housekeeping cleaned our room daily and provided any requested items during our stay very promptly. Cannot wait to return just to stay here. By far the best hotel experience in Atlanta. They are truly the 1% and it shows. Valet was also very quick in bringing our vehicle and you can text them to bring your car around and literally by the time you make it downstairs, your car is waiting. I could go on and on about this place! So in love!
This is a beautiful classy hotel with one problem. Signage! The Shane hotel is a fresh new product that took up residence in Midtown Atlanta. All new and very beautiful! I was met with outstanding customer service from the front desk Manager DaCorrie. He was loaded with a wealth of information with a very professional attitude to boot. Once I was in my room I was just as impressed with the layout and the amenities offered to enhance my experience. WOW! I headed to the lobby to start a city adventure and I needed a little help Jenny, fantastic support!
If I could give 0 stars I would. Jane in reservations and Katrina (if that’s their real names) are very rude. This hotel charged my card and I wasn’t suppose to be charged until the actual day I check in which is in the middle of next month. Then gave me a hard time about it. No apology no nothing. I’m definitely gonna make sure anybody I know doesn’t come to this hotel. Warning! Watch your card activity!
Come on in and have a seat. It's story time. This is a beautifully modeled hotel. The evening happy hour with a light bite is a classy touch. The rooms were CLEAN with a contemporary feel. I love the tiling in the bathroom with the foot-motion sensing light. It is a thoughtful touch. Great shower pressure and a complimentary robe to greet you after your shower. The mattress is perfection. It is plush and it hugged me while I slept ;-)The only cons: The hotel offers valet only parking. There is a public parking deck adjacent to the hotel for self-parking. There is a chiller in the room, but it is designed for beverages not food. Lastly, there is no microwave on the property. The room doors are extremely heavy, so be prepared for a noisy hallway.
A great hotel. A warm environment and comfortable bed.Although their bathroom looks very modern, when people enter the bathroom and close the door, there are walls on all sides, without armrest to help to stand still. I had a very painful foot that day. Because there is no armrest, I struggle to support my painful feet while taking shower to ensure that I don't fall. That is inconvenient for elderly or injured guests (in fact, I saw some old couples the next day). But it is still a very good hotel. Just hope they could consider about this.
I was at the hotel on December 27-29, the experience was not bad. The hotel is nice and the treatment is friendly, I just have to say that when you make a reservation they ask for a deposit of $150. I stayed one night and then decided to extend, they told me it was another reservation so I had to deposit $150 more than that money. It was deposited between 2-5 business days. After a week I called because I never got the money for both deposits ($300) they told me yes in the next business days...: and well today is 1/20 and I still haven't received the money back.
Some positives would be trendy and upscale and very clean. Staff is super friendly and hospitable. The bathroom and shower I must say is very nice and new aged. Location is everything honestly as it’s a central point to shopping and venues. Very nice welcome package handwritten note and fruit tray. Super quiet and very modern.I must say, I felt like I was in New York with the space in this room. Online it seemed much larger but in person, truly a New York matchbook feel for such a high price point. I like how they cram all of their priced options into the fridge with no room for you to place your items in without moving theirs around. $10 for M&Ms? I mean really. This is not Dubai lol. Lastly there is very little storage space for your items.
The hotel is in an area of town that has experienced significant growth in recent years with many new mid rise apartment complexes popping up everywhere. This is definitely an urban hotel as a result. There aren't a lot of tourist attractions in the immediate area so expect to take a ride share or drive to most places. The hotel itself is nice and modern. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant and friendly. My only complaint is the shower. The shower head is tiny and the water pressure is weak. Additionally, the hotel hasn't installed shampoo and body wash holders so they sit on the floor. This is the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.
I recently stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Midtown Atlanta, and I must say that my overall experience was far from what I had expected. While the hotel itself is charming and has a great location, the service I received left much to be desired. The first impression is usually the most important, and in this case, it was certainly not a positive one. The front desk staff was not only unhelpful but also surprisingly rude and difficult. They seemed disinterested in assisting guests. It's unfortunate that the first interaction with the hotel's staff was such a negative one.Regrettably, the issues did not end at the front desk. The rest of the hotel staff were equally dismissive and unwelcoming. It was apparent that the staff was not genuinely interested in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of the guests. This attitude, I must say, greatly affected my overall experience at the Kimpton Midtown. However, it wasn't all bad. There were two notable exceptions to the poor service – the two ladies working in the dining area and the valet staff. They were warm, welcoming, and made an effort to provide good service. These individuals stood out, and their friendliness and professionalism were a refreshing contrast to the overall service I encountered during my stay.
This is the best and ONLY hotel I ever stay at when I’m in Atlanta. I first stayed in Oct 2022 and I’ve been impressed by the outstanding service ever since. The rooms are all amazing especially the view from the panoramic rooms. The beds are really comfortable and I love that I can stream Netflix. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make sure my stay is great from Decorrie and Sam Jenkins who have both always been extremely helpful to all the amazing bartenders (especially Trinity and Ann), the outdoor valet staff and everyone else I’m always made to feel at home. The only thing that could drastically improve is the limited menu and the food quality at the restaurants but everything else heavily outweighs that. Customer service alone is definitely a 10. I’m thankful to have found such an amazing, accommodating and outstanding hotel that makes me feel at home whenever I visit. To say they go above and beyond would be an understatement.
We really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was friendly and even let us change our room to a higher floor. Keys are needed to get to your floor and we felt safe. We had a great view of the city. The room was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The bar was nice, but the restaurant breakfast was overpriced and tasted just ok. Other than the room smelling like someone had smoked cigarettes in there, we loved this hotel. We would go back.
Rooms are clean and modern. Front desk needs to work on customer service - water was turned off due to water main break (not the hotel’s fault). But they could have handled the situation better. The hotel did not notify guests and we practically had to argue to get refunded for our second night stay. For a luxury hotel, I expect top notch customer service and hospitality for every guest.
