Beautiful views from our rooms and balcony, very clean rooms, and kitchen and laundry options were terrific! Updated elevator software was a big plus. We were there before (7 years ago) when wait times were much longer. Be sure to read the signs and key the elevator properly. Years ago I heard Wyndham was not allowed to add another elevator (AC rules not theirs) so try to be patient as the proximity to the Boardwalk, helpful staff, and security teams make it all worth it.
This is the worst place I've ever dealt with in my life. Don't even bother booking because they will tell you they won't be able to find your reservation. I booked through priceline and went to check on after traveling four hours. I spent two hrs trying to figure this out and how to get checked in because they couldn't find my reservation. They said they were having issues with priceline, offered no solution, no help and blew me off. I had to book another hotel that was double the price. Don't even bother wasting your time because they will take your money and not give you the room you paid for. Terrible customer service and forget even contacting Customer service at corporate because they will not direct you to anyone to even help. This place is a complete scam.
Comfortable, spacious, and clean! The view from the balcony was memorable. Amazing sunsets! Activities and movie theater were a bonus and very fun. I worked with no issues on the wifi daily. Kitchen had everything I needed to cook most of my meals, but I highly recommend trying out Tennessee Beer Hall just a block away. To avoid daily parking rates, you can easily park at Resorts across the street for $20 for the week (but no in/out privileges). Can't wait to return. 🙂
Had a Penthouse for a group trip to Altankc City. The rooms were spacious, and clean, and had a pretty nice size kitchen. The location of the beach and boardwalk was the best part of the location. The staff and services were great. My only con is their elevator system is awful. Get ready to wait for a long time to get to your room.
Plan 45 minutes anytime you need to use an elevator. There 30+ floors and 3 elevators. All of which you are assigned and they over project so your waiting 30 to 45 minutes. If you are disabled like me, plan on every challenge because these nothing disability friendly for a spinal cord injury, litterally 4 handicap space parking per floor for 5 floors. The 6th floor parking is open, over crowded and you have to hope you can back down the parking garage and not get in accident. Bring your own wash clothes because they provide none. After asking and waiting nearly 24 hours I bought my own. It's not as nice as they make it seem. Also parking $25 a day to wait hours to get to your car.
Really good experience. Elevator's are really slow since the remodel is still underway another few weeks (until they finish 1 of the 3 elevators is dedicated to construction crews from 8am to 6pm). Other than that really good vibe. Rooms are huge, clean, have private decks, and just plain nice. 6th floor pool/hot tub overlooks the skyline of Hard Rock and the Ocean Resort.First time here, but would definitely recommend for single people, couples, or families. There is a lot they provide too, like drinks (alcohol even!) and nachos. Plus free laundry, a movie theater, you name it!
Our room was fantastic. Definitely plenty of room for our family of 4. The boys loved sleeping on a couch/bed. Our room was plenty big and had a jetted tub. View from the balcony was great and we enjoyed it every morning and night. Quiet area right off the boardwalk and an easy 5 min walk to the beach. Staff always super friendly and helpful from front desk to security and the cleaning service.
This is a time share. We got a great off season deal. They were not too pushy. As with most places nowadays, there is no maid service during the week. The room is ok, and has a full kitchen which is nice. Furniture was uncomfortable, despite being newly renovated. They are a very short walk from the boardwalk and a great restaurant which is nice. Getting an elevator is a nightmare even off peak.
Husband and my kids stayed here decent hotel for the price but paid for the room through bookings.com to then again be charged with the full price of the hotel on the card that was put on the room as a "hold" contacted them and was assured my money would be refunded over a week later still no refund. I called back with them telling me I was refunded and then they hung up on me. Terrible management and customer service. All in all I paid $700 for a two night stay. SCAM if you ask me!
Oh, my, this was a review I've been looking to write the entire time I was in NJ.Sketchy ToS (Terms and conditions aka rules) that they tell you to "just sign it" upon asking for a $200 deposite that they don't tell you about as well as the full cost of your stay aggressively. Only thing I was able to read is they reserve the right to check your room whenever they want to. This was on check in. Got to my room and saw prime hack electrical, door hinge for the bathroom is crap not allowing it to close, showerhead is dirty, they resell others lost electrical cables for double the price of what the original owner paid for, most staff do not speak English. My particular bathroom sink has an issue where whenever the hot water is used, the pipes make an extremely audible, obnoxious vibrating noise randomly. Neighbors are extremely loud. WiFi went down all the time. They did nothing to fix it after telling the manager that speaks English several times about it. All for $1200 plus a $200 deposit I was not told about, so that was fun finding out about last second. As far as breakfast, I'm surprised I didn't get charged for having a single hard but undercooked waffle. Amongst everything else in NJ, this was sub par by far. Glad to be out of that hotel.
Great rooms!!! Stood for one night. It was clean . Smoke free location . $250 if you smoke in the rooms. They have a smoking section in the back with chairs and an ashtray. $100 deposit . Room was $71 on Expedia I had $26 on points so the room was about $41 for one night . Def would stay there again
Rooms are very well maintained. We booked it at very last moment. We drove 10 hours from Toronto and reached at noon. Though our check in time was 4 pm, but manager gave us the room at noon without any hesitance. He was very accommodating and saved our day, as we very tired after a long drive.
The elevator made us feel a lil uncomfortable. But other than that our stay was wonderful. The location is close to the beach, the room was nice, and had no problems during our stay.
Title: Terrible Experience - Unapologetic Staff, Poor ServiceReview: Our 4th of July trip was ruined by this hotel's horrendous service. The staff showed no remorse and prioritized money over customer satisfaction. The manager on duty was incredibly rude and disrespectful. We had booked a room with two queen beds for one night on the long weekend. Arriving at 11:30 pm, we were told by the night shift manager that our room was unavailable. Instead, he offered a larger room with one king bed and an extra bed. He claimed they hadn't received our booking, despite our prior call. He rudely suggested canceling if we weren't satisfied, stating he could give the room to other customers.Reluctantly, we accepted the room, assuming the extra bed would be of decent quality. However, it turned out to be in terrible shape and poor quality. Fed up, we canceled our booking. The manager's disrespectful behavior towards my family was unacceptable. We were left stranded at 1:00 am, ruining our plans for the night and the following day. Being local to the area, we drove back home disappointed. Our family of four had a terrible experience and wants to warn others:The hotel's customer service is abysmal, with a focus on money over respect for customers. The manager's rudeness was evident in his interactions with other guests as well.During busy periods, book hotels in advance and arrive on time. Calling the hotel does not guarantee a room. The extra bed provided was of low quality, making us feel scammed. Paying triple the regular price should warrant better accommodations. If booking through an agency, seek their assistance. The hotel management lacks basic human decency, focusing solely on profit. We discovered the manager rented the same room to someone else for four times the price due to high demand. The room and hotel condition were average, but a negative environment and rude manager can ruin your vacation. Exercise caution when considering this hotel.
David, the front desk guy gave us a hard time when we came to check-in. He insisted that somebody already checked-in with the same first and last name and it took many back and forths for him to admit his mistake and let us access the room- when it was already very late and all we wanted was to sleep. We brought it up to management the next day and they proceeded to defend him by saying he's new.Location and room are convenient, but we won't be coming back.
If you are looking for a hot breakfast with scrambled eggs and some sausage. Then it’s not the place for you but if you want state of the art vegetarian cuisine where you get a waffle maker with some famous cereals from the shelves of Walmart. If you want some hand squeezed fresh orange juice then it’s the place for you. A wholesome veggie hotel….. let’s go Hindus
I had an absolute pleasant 2 night stay here! So quiet, clean, very well managed ??There was NO mildew Nor mold in the bathroom nor the ceiling or walls like a majority of WHP hotel/motels/suites.It was nice to have a TV with great picture and sound, convenient location, ample parking, professional & knowledgeable staff. No “riffraff” if you will, hanging around.I felt very safe! Plus it was reasonably priced??Dollar General, Wawa and a Diner literally right across the street and about 40 feet. Walking distance is a Denny’s for breakfast a gas station within walking distance. About three minutes away you have a laundry mat.A convenient location whether you’re going to Atlantic City, Galloway Ocean City.If you’re looking for a clean, homey feel while you’re down for a vacation this summer, this is a great spot where you can leave your stuff in the hotel room go to the beach and not have to worryWhether it be for vacation, business or travel ??????
