At the first beginning, I had a paid reservation with two rooms , one with a king bed and the second with 2 beds as I chose my preference in BOOKING.COM, when I arrived they told me the two rooms with 2 beds we can do nothing, moreover i arrived 6:00 pm which after check in time and one of the rooms is not ready. When I asked to remove the mini bar they said they will charge me I was surprised for what, i called room service to ask for silverware it took them more than 20 min and when they arrived they brought me a bill with silverware by 3$ and 4$ delivery charge!!! The why they have room service, i been all over the world hotels non of them charged me for delivery neither silverware.Another day I asked the front desk to put my ICE PACKS in the freezer so my medicine doesn’t expire or get damaged when i check out, they said they cant do so if you need a freezer we can send one to your room and its 30$.I asked for late check out as I am ambassador IHG member, the latest they gave me is 12:00 which is normal check out because they are fully booked what they said and when you check online you can see that more than 5 rooms available!

I worked for a long time, delivering people to the cleaning company in this hotel. And when I arrived at night to go to the common toilet, I was forbidden to do this, because I do not have a room, Although they have a common toilet. Valet forbade me to do this. Although I asked for 2 minutes !!!!

We went for lunch after my meeting with the heart specialist. What a gorgeous and immaculately clean edifice. I've never seen a more beautiful lobby. The marble Mosaic is a work of art. We will stay there soon, when we return for a procedure. If you can, enjoy this hotel.

My family and I attended a program for families that their loved ones donated their bodies to Cleveland Clinic Hospital. It’s a beautiful hotel! Very impressive with beautiful artwork and other designs. The lobby was incredibly inviting from the floor to the ceiling. I love the designs and details. The bathroom was nicely designed and very clean. The banquet room was very large and spacious. The program itself was very moving and the speakers were great informing us how our loved one’s bodies are crucial for future doctors learning how to identify and treat patients and how the body donation program has changed how doctors treat and operate on patients. Very important for ongoing research. I’m also donating my body to the program. If you’re looking for a classy hotel, this is the one!

This was a comfortable oasis while visiting a loved one at Cleveland Clinic. I appreciated the clean, soothing atmosphere and the helpful, attentive staff. One area for improvement is the workout facility. There was only one mat, some missing dumbbells and one guest brought 3 young children in, which may me fear that someone would get injured.

The Hotel is on the Cleveland Clinic campus. It is a very comfortable, clean and appealing hotel. My room (1137) was spacious. Service courteous and caring. I was checked in by Joylon, she is just a wonderful human being. Completely made me forget my miserable journey in. The food is good, it is what I would expect; hence, it met my expectations. Room service burger was well cooked and the soup was great. Only disappointment was the side of grilled vegetables. They were overcooked. The restaurant is comfortable, as is the bar. Overall a very nice experience.

Bar service is not good at all. Watching a football game in the final quarter and it just gets turned off. Great place to stay for the night, not great great if you want good service from the bar or restaurant.

An expensive stay, however, was worth the experience. On the 16th floor with a nice view. The lounge on the 1st floor had good bar food. It was very busy and the staff girls kept it moving! Nice service. The hotel room was clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable! I liked the desk.

First of all here are the good things. It's a short list. The location is good. Lots of restaurants and entertainment venues were within a 20 minute walk. The room was nice. Good bed, linens and towels. Nice rain shower. Now the bad things. The staff is not friendly. They were understaffed at check-in, and instead of trying to calm down customers - who were in a line that went all the way through the lobby and into the restaurant - one of the concierges left the counter to escalate a confrontation with a couple who were trying to get to a wedding. The customer was being sarcastic, no raised voices, no gestures. But the concierge threatened him, and lectured him on manners, and finally had him escorted out of the building. While the entire lobby of guests watched in amazement. The other bad thing was the free breakfast deal. Guests who had the free breakfast are led away from the main dining room into a backroom with a very minimal buffet. The eggs were cold, the potatoes were dry, and the danish was wet. I've seen better buffets at the Hampton Inn, where I can at least get a fresh waffle.

A stressful experience. The staff was professional and kind, but the front desk is understaffed. The check-in line was almost an hour long and the check-in app was unhelpful-it doesn’t allow you to check in as you’re waiting, which is when most people realize they need it. Yesterday at 4:30 the line went all around the room and into the hallway past the entrance. People were downloading the app to get a mobile key, but the app makes you wait half an hour for the key. Folks were grouchy, there were some altercations, and one of the attendants had to call security on a guest(!!). I felt terrible for the two concierges, who were doing their best. They were dealing with long lines and angry customers for hours as far as I could tell. Marriott should do some UX research on the app- this is a design issue. Most of the people in that line didn’t need to be there. Also had an alarm go off in my room, probably set by a previous guest, at 6 am today. It would have been so nice to sleep in on a Sunday… why don’t they check for this? As far as I can tell, great people work here but better systems are needed.

Other than the location and room I would give this hotel ZERO stars for my experience. The customer service is absolute terrible- I have never had such horrible service at any hotel in my life. My coworker and I planned to attend a work conference in Cleveland. I booked one night via online Marriott website. We wanted to extend our stay an additional night, so I called the hotel to add an additional night to our reservation- we had emails and confirmation number for both nights. Upon arrival to the hotel, we checked in for our first night however we were informed that the second night was not booked on the reservation. We were informed we were suppose to have 2 confirmation numbers and we had to “prove” that we booked the room with a separate confirmation number to get our hotel room for the second night. After 4 hours of talking to the front desk manager and 11 phone calls to the Marriott reservation department and customer service department- the best they could do is tell me and my colleague to book another room at the Westin ($750 when our original rooms was blocked at $200 for the conference) or find another hotel to stay- all rooms are now $500+. The front desk people blamed the reservation department after it was confirm with an EMPLOYEE ID NUMBER, that it was in fact an employee who cancelled our reservation for the second night. This is absolutely unacceptable and horrendous customer service. We now have no hotel for tomorrow and no financial compensation for the room rates. Disappointment.

We usually really like Westin properties. This one was mostly fine, but a couple of things were less than up to standard. First ,though, positives. The interior staff was extremely friendly & did their jobs well. Welcoming & informative. Beds, as always, were awesome. The gym is an excellent facility, for a hotel. The negatives?* It wasn’t clean, in general. Not exactly dirty…but the cleaning seemed half hearted. Room, elevators, lobby. Things weren’t completely dusted, or vacuumed. Empty bottles and trash left in the lobby, for the entire stay.* The parking staff was really unpleasant. Unprofessional. Both arrival & departure. Do better.* It’s not a great location. Things like the stadiums & Gateway district are walkable….but not close. It’s not like they can move, but folks should understand this when booking. We’d likely stay again, but won’t be our first choice.
