Choose the Right Season: Arizona’s weather varies significantly throughout the year. For outdoor adventures, spring and fall offer comfortable temperatures and blooming landscapes. For cozy, cooler escapes, winter in Northern Arizona can be magical with snow-covered scenes.
Select a Theme: Decide what kind of romantic experience you both desire. Whether it’s outdoor adventures in Sedona, luxury relaxation in Scottsdale, or exploring the historic streets of Tucson, aligning your interests ensures a memorable trip.
Book a Special Stay: Opt for accommodations that add to the romance—think resorts with spa services, boutique hotels offering unique experiences, or secluded cabins with breathtaking views.
Plan a Surprise: Organize at least one surprise for your partner, like a hot air balloon ride at sunrise, a private dinner under the stars, or a couples massage.
Explore Local Cuisine: Arizona boasts a rich culinary scene. Plan for intimate dinners at recommended local restaurants or wineries, especially those with scenic views or unique settings.
Connect with Nature: Arizona’s landscapes are vast and varied. Schedule time for hikes, scenic drives, or picnics in places like the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, or the botanical gardens of Phoenix and Tucson.
Remember the Small Details: Sometimes, it’s the little things that make a trip special. Bring along a playlist of songs meaningful to both of you for the drive, pack your partner’s favorite snacks, or end each day with a heartfelt note.
By focusing on shared interests, embracing the beauty of Arizona, and adding personal touches, you can ensure your romantic getaway is both unforgettable and deeply satisfying.

My last stay at a Hilton was not very good. However, this resort pleasantly surprised me. Great location, great value, quiet, clean, large suite with 2 rooms 2 bathrooms, and full service kitchen, which includes plates cups, cutlery etc. Has a great onsite restaurant. Very attentive staff, and all at a great price. Will definitely be visiting again.
A very beautiful and clean resort. But we will not be back in due to a terrible night of sleep. We were in condo #1. Delivery trucks drive by the back of our condo, right by our bedrooms at four in the morning. And multiple delivery trucks. It was loud! Staff here is up early and thinks it is necessary to cruise by the condos to take your garbage out at six in the morning and then they think they should start mowing the lawn at 7 AM. It was truly a miserable night of sleep. There’s also some thing wrong with the water heater in a condo #1. There was a very loud, thumping noise that would come from it about every 15 minutes during the day and at night.
The property has some age, but it generally feels fresh and maintained. Our unit was spacious and in great condition. Felt as if it had been recently renovated as furniture and finishes appeared new. Grounds are beautiful and the quiet location north of the city in an upscale dark sky area brings that sonoran desert living.
Nice, rustic-style casitas next to the golf course. Wish the place would publish that the only restaurant located on the grounds was closed for the week. They don’t bother to tell you that until right before they hand you the card keys. They should also do a better job bug spraying. Nothing like having a roach crawl over your toes while sitting on the toilet to wake you up in the morning.
This resort that was formerly a timeshare community is worth 5 out of 5 stars in my opinion. How so? Let me count the ways for you! It's located off the "beaten path" near Cave Creek, AZ. It's a quiet area. As an Arizona resident I'd thought snakes, scorpions and tarantulas would be aplenty out here but they were replaced with bunnies, small frogs and a few families of Quails. We had the 2-bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen and Murphy Bed setup. It was amazing; the bathrooms, family/dining and patio areas weren't too shabby either. The grilling area was nice, especially when after calling for assistance (ever since that "grilling scene" in that Final Destination movie I've been wary using gas grills), and the assistance came in less than five minutes. Oh yeah, we found the customer service resort-wide a big help. And the pool/jacuzzi area was found to be incredibly welcoming. One pet peeve; the first night we were poolside either a co-workers family or some gate crashers were there smoking away. Wanting to avoid any confrontation or fallout, we didn't report it and they left the property after an hour. There are resorts that are more activity related, we picked this one because this resort is more kick back and relaxing. There's a golf course but I can't comment on it since I don't play. It's minutes from "in town" and there's plenty to see there, from thrift stores to places to eat and the like. We went during off-season; it's probably a different story during peak times. I could see coming here annually for vacation; well worth it!
Really didn't have any negative experiences here. Our room was immaculate, and I'm always attentive to the little details. Looks like they've sanitized everything and sealed it with a sticker. I actually took our UV light that we've been using to hunt for scorpions and couldnt find anything. Lots of complimentary items that, in my experience most upscale hotels don't provide free of charge. This will be our top pick next time we are passing through. I dont think you can do much better at the price point for this area.
We came here just for the buffet. I'm rating the buffet only and not the casino or hotel. Although the hotel from the lobby looked really nice.We were the first ones in the buffet when it opened. My wife complained that the food she got wasn't hot. I have a gluten allergy and some items that were gluten free were not properly labeled and when I asked staff if items were gluten free they had to go in the back and check which is nice but the items should already be labeled so I don't have to ask. Only 1 dessert was labeled gluten-free even though 2 other desserts were gluten-free. Not a good value for your money if you have a gluten allergy.
I am a truck driver. Plenty of truck parking literally. Did my 34hr reset and this place is really nice. The hotel staff were very nice and friendly. The casino staff were very pleasant. The wait for a couple of the restaurants were long but overall the food was great.Definitely will be staying here when traveling through the area. Last but not least, I won at the casino. Several hundred dollars..Thank you for the hospitality and the good time.
Feb 23 - 24 2024 Hotel - first the good, the room is great. Top notch, beds are great and comfortable and restroom is roomy and shower is great. Next the bad we were traveling late and decided to spend the night near Flagstaff. And I've stayed here before so figured to give the family the experience of a nice room.First we tried to call the front desk to get an idea of prices of the room. I have a certain status with the casino and a veteran, so I was curious if I got a better rate. But I call and I choose the option of hotel and my call drops. Tried several times and we just booked online due to the time of the night and worried about not being able to book at all.Second we get on site, I bring up the issue of why did my call drop every time I called. Front desk clerk tells me, "oh I'm the only one working, so I log out of the phone because I get to busy" she was on a call phone when we got to the desk and there was not a single person near the desk needing her attention.I travel a ton, every week I'm some where different and whether it's a best Western or curio Hilton, there is someone answering the phone and will eventually get to the phone. The casino wants to label itself a "resort" the customer service needs a huge revamp. I asked about restaurants (closed) and snack bar (closed due to no one showing up), note it was midnight but it's a "resort" on a weekend. I'm pretty sure northern edge snack bar stays open till 4am on weekends. So either her knowledge is wrong or the "resort" needs some work to stay current with northern edge. Also room with mountain view is pretty inaccurate.
The Sports Bar was awesome, atmosphere and great food & plenty of it for reasonable price. Delicious Navajo Taco (loved the green chile sauce)! And the Crab bucket was amazing! We had a great time playing slots. Staff was kind, everything very clean! Felt welcomed! Will be back!
