For tourists, The Dagny is quite possibly the ideal location for visiting Boston. It feels like you are within 10-15 minutes walking distance from just about everything, and if you're going outside of the immediate downtown area, you are only about 5-10 minutes from easy to use public transportation. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was great with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. The only complaint about the room is the mini-fridge. It was so small it might as well have not even been there. The fitness center was spacious and well equipped with everything you need, including 3 peloton bikes. We didn't dine at the main restaurant, but the Tradesman coffee shop was great. We would definitely stay here again.

In from Galveston, TX. We have been coming here for 20+ years and it never disappoints. Our suite was awesome with a large sitting area and separate bedroom. Plenty of space. The most amazing part of this property is the staff. Lotfi at the Front Desk is a great guy, friendly and takes care of business. Barry, John and Ali at the Concierge are especially helpful with suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing. Chris, Rob and Eddie are very helpful with directions, suggestions, and take care of parking and baggage. It is always a great delight to arrive at the Dagney and have everyone greet us by name with hugs and handshakes. We will be back In October and can't wait.

My wife and I stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the concierge was very helpful. The building is a little tucked away but within walking distance of plenty of attractions.

Our layover hotel changed to the Dagny Boston and it gives you a fantastic location over by Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Quincy Market. The rooms are definitely on the smaller side, but still comfortable. It seemed like many of the Staff were newer, so some questions seem to get lost, but the Staff were friendly and helpful, and the café in the lobby is definitely worth a visit!

We loved our stay at The Dagny!! We had great service, especially the housekeeper, Malina! She was exceptional! We loved The Tradesman coffee shop, except for the music, it seemed out of character for a coffee shop to play loud music, but their coffee, food and look were great. We also checked out the hotel restaurant on our last day for breakfast, and loved it! The location of the hotel was perfect for getting around to every part of Boston.

Stayed here recently since some family that was visiting from abroad had chosen this hotel. We had an overall good stay, but I expected more from a hotel of this caliber. The hotel is well staffed, and we received excellent attention when we checked in and they were very accommodating by allowing us to check in an hour early and giving us an extra hour to check out as I had a meeting that overlapped with checkout time. The room was spacious and had an incredible amount of windows. I didn’t even mind that there was no view. The room we had was a bit bizarre and its layout and I was a bit disappointed to see that paint was chipping and wallpaper was peeling. But otherwise things were clean and the shower had excellent water pressure. And given that we were on the fourth floor, I have to say outside of a few seagulls in the morning. I didn’t hear much from outside. Reservation came with a $10 credit for either of the restaurants on site. We chose to go to the café, and we astounded by the prices.I guess that’s the cost of staying in Boston. The hotel was very conveniently located to South Station, the Seaport District, Quincy market, the aquarium, all the typical tourist stuff. And all honesty, I much prefer the feel of staying in back bay.
We loved this hotel. Close to EVERYTHING. The staff are super. The breakfast/lunch place (which you get a daily $10 credit) is amazing. Don’t be daunted by the lineups as it must be a local favourite too. When we come back we will stay here. I can’t say enough about it. The rooms are well appointed with lots of hooks and spaces to put things which is a rare thing.Internet was good too. No views but who cares. We were out most of the time.

We stayed at the Dagny in June, and felt so special and given great attention during our stay.It was our anniversary so they got us a nice room upgrade at no charge with strawberries and champagne! We also arrived early (red eye flight) and they got us checked in as early as possible. They overall service of the entire staff was great! John, the concierge, gave us great recommendations on places to check out in the city! Location wise, you are right in the heart of the city, and it is a lot of fun exploring!

Overall great experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean (I didn’t feel icky at all which is uncommon for me). Was pleasantly surprised with the anniversary & birthday treat the hotel concierge and team sent to our room. In my opinion, hotel is best for business travel accommodation more than for vacation, but great choice either way.

We had a very disappointing experience when we stayed here to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We paid a lot of money for our stay, but were the hotel was under construction. The rooms were dirty and outdated. Our fridge didn't work, and the one that they brought us to replace was nasty and unsightly. My $300 Bose earbuds were taken from my suitcase when the room was cleaned. The front desk staff were very friendly, but this wasn't enough to overcome all the negatives.

This place is currently under construction and what a disaster!!! Loud nosies from the pipes at night and no real lobby. Also, the staff failed to get basic requests done! Used to be a great place!

Paying full price for a room when the lobby is under construction and it has one working elevator, plus the ice machine is out service on my floor. Took almost 20min to ride up and down. “Updated” rooms have hard beds, flat pillows, and tvs mounted so low they are half blocked by your feet when laying down. Not to mention $20 pay per view films at this price point is ridiculous, this isn’t a motel 6 price, so cut rate practices feel out of place. Great location and staff was nice, but clearly management is charging like a premium hotel for lipstick on a pig.

This place definitely fell short of any expectations. At bare minimum, I expect a 4-star hotel that’s $500/night after taxes and hotel fees to at least be clean. Our room had stains in the carpet, dust everywhere, a used q-tip and bits of plastic on the bathroom floor, and mold and mildew in the shower. The staff was very friendly, but never asked how are stay was. I would not recommend if you value basic cleanliness.

Got in very late after a long and frustrating travel day. Wendy at the front desk was so wonderful and welcoming. Sympathized with my long travel day and put me in a room away from the street traffic so I could get some rest. Appreciated the warm front desk reception, the coffee in the morning, and the seamless checkout.

Location is great. You can walk everywhere. Valet parking is easy to find, and the staff is friendly. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. He talked to my daughter about her and her stuffed rabbit. The work is polite and fast, there is a $40 fee, it is a little bit expensive but I got glass of wine from evening service at lobby and two bottles of water. The taste of white wine is nice and we are satisfied with its service. The room was clean. Modern and comfortable space, there was nothing to put suitcases, but since the suitcases were small for this one-night stay, spreading them out on the floor was not a problem. Bed is comfortable, I like it. The shower room is well cleaned and spacious. I was able to soak in the bathtub.I would definitely stay there again when I visit Boston.
