This place is a fraud. I went to work hired by Mrs. Rubí in the maintenance area where after two days of work she fired me without giving me an explanation or reason where I could observe the mistreatment, humiliation and threats to the people who work there. people and two days later they throw them out like this, so they carry out money laundering through their employees, taking advantage and paying them a minimum wage from which they benefit, thus exploiting their employees. Someone in that hotel must analyze and take some measure with This is happening in this place because there are laws and rights for its workers that they must respect.

We booked a double queen last minute because the room we had reservations for in a different hotel was appalling. Holiday Inn Express Kansas City Downtown made up for that easily. They were accommodating, service was excellent, room was clean, hotel and room smelled lovely (and that's important), beds were comfortable, art throughout the hotel was very inviting. Our family's favorite is that the breakfast was wonderful! There was Oatmeal, cereal, bacon, sausage patties and sausage links, a couple different kinds of eggs (the one with peppers and onions was delicious), fried potatoes, biscuits, gravy, fruit assortment, muffins and other pastries, and pancakes. One little teensy complaint that I would not let keep me from coming back, is that the bathtub drain was VERY slow to drain. By the time I was finished showering, I had water standing deep enough to cover my feet. We did notify the front desk. We will keep coming back for sure...this was an excellent stay.

My experiences at Holiday Inn hotels have consistently been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I step foot into their welcoming lobbies, I am captivated by the carefully chosen colors, the stylish furniture, and the tasteful accessories that create an inviting atmosphere for all guests. It is evident that a great deal of thought has been put into every detail, making each stay a truly memorable one.One aspect that truly sets Holiday Inn hotels apart is their commitment to cleanliness and maintenance. The rooms are always impeccably clean, and the common areas are well-maintained, creating an overall sense of comfort and relaxation. Additionally, the staff at Holiday Inn hotels are always friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any needs or questions that may arise during my stay.Overall, I have found that Holiday Inn hotels consistently exceed my expectations in terms of both aesthetics and service. Their dedication to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests ensures that I will continue to choose them for all my future travels.

We were in town for a concert and stayed here so we could easily get to power and light district. The rooms are very nice with plenty of space, they are very clean!! We have enjoyed coming back each day to a clean room and fresh water bottles waiting on our TV stand! Such a nice touch that really makes a difference when you're staying in a hotel. All the staff have been kind and I feel this is a good location to be near power and light and also be safe - they lock the doors at 10pm and open them at 10am, so you have to buzz in or open them with your key.

Overall the stay was good. Bed was comfortable, lots of windows in the room, overall clean. Our tub was clogged, though. Also, the parking lot is very small and cramped. The self parking is a nice perk for the area but my husband was really worried about there being more rooms than spots. We got the last spot in the lot one afternoon.

This is a great location of you're going to a concert or event at the T-Mobile center. So convenient not to have to drive after events are over. My only complaint is the $25 a day parking tacked on to the room cost. It would probably be cheaper to park somewhere else at that point. I want to say that most other lots downtown are something like $15 a day.

Check in ruined this experience for us.We arrived at 5 and we were told the rooms were not ready to check in yet and we were added to a waiting list which already had 8 people on it before us. So we waiting in the car for 2 hours waiting on a phone call that never came. Our friends showed up and went to check in and were able to check in right away, as the rooms were ready. So I came in and she said, "Oh yea, you can check in now! We sat in the car for 2 hours and felt forgotten about.I contacted IHG customer service, and they said they couldn't even get through to the hotel and talk to anyone.Very disappointing and frustrating experience, and by far the worst I ever had with an IHG hotel. Also, I am frustrated that I never heard back from customer service or the manager like they said I would. The rooms are clean, but slightly smaller. The mirror in the bathroom doesn't light up like it seems it would.Nice property, just bad experience.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Was immediately thanked for being Diamond member and asked about welcome points or food. The food at the restaurant was excellent! We had the burgers and fries and they were exceptional. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I read some reviews before booking and someone said it was not branded as a Holiday Inn but it was. Someone also said the elevator’s were not working but they were working when we whee there.

Fantastic onsite restraunt and bar!!! After a long day of traveling, I did not want to venture back out for dinner. I was blown away by the quality of the food and the amazing service provided by the bartender. The burger I had was pretty high on my list for one of the best burgers I have ever had, and the bartender made me an excellent Mojito!

Crissy the front desk clerk is extremely rude and unpleasant. She would benefit more by NOT being employed in a hotel. Absolutely shouldn't be greeting/checking folks in.The elevator button didn't work on any floor except the first so we had to call the front desk just to be able to get from the 3rd floor to the lobby. The bartender saved this place's 🍑 period. He was stellar. Crissy on the other hand should not be employed there (her demeanor is bad enough that my wife refuses to ever give the place another chance).
First of all this os NOT a Holiday inn, it's now Wyndham which makes no difference for this worn down dated hotel. After spending nearly 30 hours in our vehicle traveling this hotel was at least a place to shower and sleep. The room was not clean, the very oversized chair was filthy but only paled in comparison to what looked like someone shaking up a can a soda and let it go all over the curtains. The bathroom door didn't close properly and I. wished I had shower shoes for the bathroom. We didn't bother to ask for a different room because we were exhausted and didn't feel like trying to get the desk clerks attention from the back room again. Thank goodness we used reward points and not actual money on this room. Find somewhere else to stay

Stayed ther for business. Overall the place was clean and orderly. Our room bathroom had 2 spots that needed drywall fixed in the corners. A hole was starting and drywall was chipping off the size of a quarter. Water pressure in shower was horrible(there wasn't much). Restaurant was closed due to no staff and elevator floors needed cleaned. Check in attendant was pleasant and helpful. Overall not a bad place and convenient for where we needed to be.
