The location can't be beat! The view from the rooftop bar is the best in the city. The food and drinks are great, it makes for a fun date night spot or a great afternoon hangout with friends. The hotel it's self is in great condition and is maintained very well. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back again!

The Aster isn't your average hotel. It's a private club with a glamorous soul, offering 35 stunning suites (think spacious, bohemian chic) to lucky guests. Stepping inside is like entering a bygone era of Hollywood glitz. Think polished wood floors, lemon-lime paneling, and a hidden cacti room – all a delightful homage to the area's rich history. The rooftop steals the show. Take a dip in the heated pool, sip an Aster Spritz at the bar, or catch a classic movie under the stars. Foodies will love the California cuisine at Lemon Grove restaurant, while history buffs will appreciate the working recording studio and vintage screening room.Despite its Hollywood location, The Aster offers a peaceful escape. The staff is exceptional – friendly, helpful, and always ready to go the extra mile. Whether you're craving a luxurious staycation or an unforgettable LA experience, The Aster is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.Pros: Stunning suites, rooftop pool & bar, unique amenities (recording studio, movie screenings), excellent service, perfect location for exploring Hollywood.Cons: Membership required for full access (though suites are available for booking).

We recently attended a memorial event at The Aster and can’t speak highly enough about the incredibly welcoming and professional staff - especially given the context of our visit. Specifically, the valet team of Sal, Jacob, Javier, and Oli did an amazing job of dealing with the large influx of vehicles and limited space…. and did so with panache and with smiles. We live in the Los Angeles area, but we are definitely going to plan a staycation night at The Astor after our experience there.

I stayed at the Aster last week and had a fantastic time. The ambiance perfectly blended luxury and creativity, making it a haven for anyone looking for an upscale yet inspiring stay in Hollywood. The staff was incredibly attentive, and the amenities were top-notch. Watching the fireworks from the rooftop bar was the highlight of my trip. I can't wait to come back!
Monica, at the front desk, deserves employee of the year. While I was checking out with her, I became very unwell and unsteady. She was observant and smart enough to realize I was about to faint. My hand was on my face and blackness was closing in when I heard her say, "ma'am.. ma'am!" She caught me on my way down and followed every protocol perfectly from that moment on. She made me feel safe and well cared for in a moment that was very frightening for me. She went and gathered security and her superiors. When she returned, I came to and she helped me off the lobby floor and into a chair. She took my flip flops off and rubbed my feet! All of the employees were very kind, accommodating, and respectful. When my ride home arrived, I was afraid I would fall again; they escorted me out and carried my bag for me. I can't express my sincerest gratitude enough for Monica and her team at the hotel. Thank you, Monica; my friends and family thank you, too.

I had such a wonderful stay at the hotel and have since been back for many delicious meals. The staff is kind and personable, the food is outstanding from the presentation to the taste, and the decor is beautiful. I felt so comfortable there, and the other guests were enjoyable to socialize with! I was not surprised to learn that the hotel recently received a Michelin Key!!

Staying at the Conrad was an exceptional experience. The rooms are luxurious and extremely spacious, not to mention the sweet views of DTLA. On top of that, the location is great, in the heart of DTLA, just a short drive from Dodger Stadium, ideal for catching a game. (The drive back is quite short and avoids the crowded freeways, so you don’t need to worry about getting back late after a night game.) However, there isn’t much around the hotel itself in terms of places to visit within walking distance. Besides that, though, the facilities (pool, gym, etc.) are top-notch and the staff are kind and helpful. Overall, a solid experience in a great hotel. Highly recommend.

This is an impressive and well run hotel! Clean and modern with lots of great amenities including pool, restaurants, and 24 fitness center. Despite the activity, the hotel was quiet when in the room. Above all, the staff and customer service were exceptional; some of the best I’ve ever experienced during a hotel stay. I was thoroughly impressed and would definitely stay here again.

The best hotel stay I've ever had. Rooms are modern, luxurious, and clean. Restaurants had fantastic food. But best of all, their service went above and beyond. Prior to my stay, I phoned the team in to ask if they can do anything special for my partner who had just graduated, and let's just say that they went above and beyond to make her feel super special. Thank you so much to the Conrad team for making our stay memorable

Conrad Los Angeles has made our trip to LA the best to date! The hotel is so beautiful and the service was even better! Our Guest Service Representative Ruth Contreras made our stay an unforgettable one. She went above and beyond to make us feel so welcomed. I truly appreciate her thoughtfulness. Because of the great experience, Conrad will always be our first choice for hotel. We're even booking our next trip as we speak! The rooms were beautiful, the pool was great and the area was very clean and safe. 100/10 recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Conrad Downtown, my first five-star hotel experience in the US, and it was fantastic. The room was impressively spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and enjoy the elegant setting. What stood out to me was the exceptional room service; the staff was attentive and efficient, enhancing my stay with their professionalism. The overall setup of the room was designed for comfort and luxury, which I thoroughly enjoyed. From the tasteful decor to the high-quality amenities, every detail contributed to a truly premium experience. The hotel itself maintains a high standard, evident in both the accommodations and the guest services. Staying at the Conrad Downtown was a remarkable experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch hospitality.

The Conrad exceeded all expectations. The hotel itself is stylish, new and modern. The room was excellent, quiet and very comfortable. The service is impeccable, from the front desk to the valet service. The housekeeping staff absolutely stand out. Not only was our room clean with attention to detail, but the staff went above and beyond. The food at the restaurant and bar was excellent and the service, again, was attentive. Absolutely one of the best experiences at a hotel in recent memory. If you are looking for somewhere downtown LA, this is the place. The pricing was reasonable for a 5 star hotel in a major city.
