Prompt and polite service. Their doormen could be more alert to foot traffic. Not every customer arrives in a ride

I’m very concerned about this business’s practices. I’ve been a long time guest and have stayed here several times over the last few years- even with all the changes some of which haven’t been so great. The pool atmosphere is no longer as fun as it used to be from music/entertainment to how they limit “certain guests”. I’ve had to change rooms after a few check-ins because the room they had “ready” was still dirty. On one particular visit, they literally gave me a room that a guest had just checked out of but hadn’t been clean yet. I’m sure that was an accident but that was not the best thing to walk into. All that aside, I’m most disappointed in the fraudulent activities this hotel is engaging in. Following check-out of my last few stays, I’ve noticed fictitious mini bar charges to my credit card. I’ve managed to get them to refund me after each occasion but that’s the problem, there was more than 1! The first time, I figured it was just an accident. The second time, I’m like “woah not again” but let it go. After the third time, I had to have a word with management. That did nothing. Eventually, I forgot about this issue up until a recent visit. Would you believe it? It happened AGAIN. Oh but it’s get better. They charged my sister for a fake mini bar charge following a stay she had. After speaking with a few friends, they ALL stated the same thing has happened to them! Then I read some reviews. There are multiple people claiming the VERY SAME thing! I’ve realized this is not just some human error. This facility is deliberately charging guests mini bar charges. From my experience as well as the people I have spoken to, they were small charges so I gather they do this so the amounts would be missed. In reviews I’ve read from other guests, the charges are a lot higher. It’s sad that such an elite hotel has stooped down this low. It’s no longer fun to stay here. In fact, it’s quite boring and overpriced. The incidental fee is now $200 per night which is crazy considering the overall experience. The rooms are unkept and outdated. The couch in my room from my recent visit was replaced with a new one (okay great but not really). The size was smaller than the space occupied for furniture so it just looked awkward. They still have a cable box from the early 2000s. Carpeting isn’t centered. Rust in the showers, issues with the thermostat. “Baia beach club” is a joke. I understand wanting to have a more elevated experience especially with new management but it’s nothing spectacular. The rule that you have to be covered before walking into the pool area is INSANE. The elevator to the pool entrance is like 2 feet. Please be for real. Oh and let’s not forget how much money Black people poor into this property but when you look at their social media, no Black people. Of course that is not who they want to market/target. Black people were having too much fun at the pool and in the words of an employee “management thought it was too ratchet”. Nevertheless, I will be submitting a fraud report with this facility. I’ve reached out to management but of course you can expect, no solution. Just b.s. It’s definitely time to give up the very place I loved staying at for so long. This experience and for the price isn’t worth it!

The hotel lobby area were beautiful. Rooms were well maintained. Staff for extremely helpful upon check-in and helped accommodate us with a late check-out when our flight was cancelled. A few things that caught me off guard: Resort fee of $50 per night- when I went to go kayaking or paddle boarding-very limited hours of operation, I was told it was only for 30 minutes. At 3:20 they were closing soon and the worker would let me go. Bikes were not around to use. 200 per night security deposit, pool was only open until 7:00am to 7:00pm. Finally, I was told that $200 per night fee would not be back on my card for 5 to 7 days. Not sure if that is a Hotel issue or a credit card issue. Upon check out, the desk was very upfront about this, but not at check-in. I have an excellent stay and if I return to Miami, I would stay her, unless I found a place that had better policies regarding Resort fee and $200 per night hold.

Really enjoyed our dinner great vibe and great service. Daria our waitress was fantastic we are vegan and she took the time to explain to us in detail all of vegan options and modifications. By the way the sunset is the best we have seen with full views of downtown. Great experience we will return surely.

Beautiful resort, lovely pool area overlooking the bay. The room and balcony overlooked the water. There is some signs of wear and tear, rusted patio furniture, chaise pillows with tears, and some water scale on shower fixtures. There was a lot of blank space and area that could have used decorum but other than that, quite lovely. Beautiful fragrance in the halls. Really adequate gym facility. A true mini suite with lots of options to purchase items while still leaving a shelf in the fridge to put your own leftovers and snacks in. Very attractive and polite staff. Easy proximity to everything we wanted to do and go, without any obnoxious crowds or noise. Wonderful mother daughter experience.

The room cleaning staff was HORRIBLE! I was in 1514 on 6/92024. It was our anniversary and my husbands birthday. They didn’t come to clean our room nor bring fresh towels until 4:45 pm. I had already requested service 3 times. Come to find out the attendant lied to her supervisor saying we wouldn’t leave the room for her to clean. We were on the balcony for at least 2 hours we would not have been in her way. We ordered breakfast asked for my eggs to be over hard they came over easy. Really spoiling the moment. I really appreciate Marc Reid for setting up an amazing experience for my husband and myself. He really went above and beyond trying to help me make this a memorable experience for my husband!

Outstanding property and the staff is even better! Carlos our attendant at the pool was the best. We had to deal with intermittent rain storms and every time the rain stopped, he made sure all of the towels and bedding was replaced on our day bed. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was equally great. I forget our server's name (was originally from Bosnia but came to the states 12 years ago) but was equally amazing. I am a lifetime Platinum Marriott member and I have over 1,100 lifetime nights in hotels. The property here and the staff is a MUST EXPERIENCE!!! Can't wait to go back!

The location is the only good thing this hotel has to offer. I travel all over the states and have been to south beach many times for work and play. I am a social media influencer in which i did not tell the hotel as i wanted to be treated as a fair guest. However i was celebrating my birthday in which they said they do accommodate special occasions, they did not fulfill the request and tried to give us 2 bottles of water to compensate for not filling the request. I was still hopeful it would be a great trip until i went to the rooftop bar and i was turned away on my birthday due to body shaming me for what i was wearing ( I’m in south beach ) and mocked me before being excused and not let into the “bar” on my birthday. At this point they still do not know that I’m an influencer. I tried to use some amenities such as the microwave and mini fridge in which they told me would be in my room in 15 minutes after already being here for 4 days. After 3 hours of waiting i called the front desk and they had to no suprise no way to accommodate me. I had to walk each floor looking for a microwave left outside of someone else’s room. When i spoke to multiple managers and even the director of operations, nicole they still could not rectify the situation and how terrible the stay had become. Marriott was so appalled by the customer service they offered to put me in another property. The resolution was $150 resort fee deductible off of my total bill. 150$ is nothing to me when it comes to an experience and my job. I will never spend my money here ever. Steer very clear of this properties “vibes” because the customer service, they drop the ball all day everyday. I thought i found a hidden gem being as though i stream daily and it was in fact a nightmare. To all my fellow streamers, and families - use another Marriott location i promise you this is not the one. I will be posting the review on my social media with videos of the service i was given after giving them 5 days to handle the situation and not doing so! Good luck moxy, hello tik tok ! Do you hear me now ?To your reply. You also said that the entire time i was there and nothing was done. Your review answers look like edit copy & paste! My review is real time footage on tik tok of your services or lack there of.

I, along with a guest of mine, were checked in by Josie - I believe that's her name. She worked the 3pm-11:30pm shifts during my stay there. Was the check in process how it should be done? No, it was not. We were not greeted with "hello, welcome". We were greeted with "next, your id and card please" - that's not how you should greet your guests. My main issues were with the housekeeping services. When I checked into room 522 the bed was nicely done, the pillows were presentable, although they have seen their better days and should be replacement immediately cause they have lost their shape, the linen was clean. What I did not expect and was shocked by was the fact that there was a hair tie from a previous guest that was left by the nightstand next to the bathroom wall where the phone is located on top of. There was no washcloths in the bathroom the foul smelling 2 in 1 body wash bottle was empty and there was sand all over the floor around the bed. I am not sure whether you have RA who are self inspectors or whether you have room inspectors or housekeeping supervisors, but that room would have never passed my inspection and would be flipped as a VR room, absolutely not!On 7/4 I have asked for washcloths via the chat option on the Bonvoy app and I said that when the RA comes to service the room, could she please leave some. I was told, by one of your agents that there is no daily housekeeping service, despite the website and the Bonvoy app stating the opposite, instead I had a houseman come in and bring me some washcloths. The following day, the 5th of July is what I had the most problems with and I was shocked that this was even allowed to happen in the first place.  I have vacated my room on the morning of the 5th at around 8 am, I took off my DND signed, went on a walk on the beach, went to Starbucks for coffee and just walked around for a bit. I came back to my room at around 10:30am, the room was not serviced. Before heading out for breakfast at around 11am I sent a message request via the chat in the Bonvoy app asking for housekeeping. I was assured that housekeeping was notified and that someone will service my room soon. I have spoken with one of the RAs that I met on the hallway, I don't know her name, she was a very sweet and friendly lady, dark skinned with a Caribbean accent and an afro, I asked her if she could service the rooms that I and my guest were in. I have also notified the front desk via the chat that I have asked one of the RA on the hallways. They were made aware of it.Imagine my surprise when I came back to my room at 1:06 pm and saw that my room has still not be cleaned. I immediately used the chat to ask what happened and I have also called the front desk and had spoken with a female asking what happened. She said that she doesn't know why my room was not serviced but that she will notify housekeeping once again and that someone will be there shortly. No one came to my room until 2:30pm. This is three and a half hours after I had requested service. What I do not understand is how is it possible for a small hotel of only 202 rooms that are quite tiny, a hotel that also does not provide housekeeping services on daily basis, to have a guest wait almost 5 hours in total to have their rooms clean. I say 5 hours in total because I was gone from 8am till 10:30am and then from 11am until 1pm and then someone came in at 2:30pm. This is just shameful and completely unacceptable! Mind you, that when this lady came, she did not even knock on the door, she just barged in as I was lying on the bed. One would think, great, someone finally clean the room, even though it took that long, right? Wrong, once again there was no washcloths left in the room. The linen was not changed and the top sheet that had a coffee stain was flipped around and tucked in the foot of the bed.My experience at this property was nothing short of a let down and a disappointment. Shame on the upper management - Nicole, and shame on HHM for allowing this to happen. Kevin was a pleasure to deal with, other staff, not so much.

I had a wonderful experience here! I was having a bad day and a hard time finding a nice place for me and my family, but when I walked to the front desk I was greeted by the lovely Merve and Jeanne and and they were of great help and very pleasant. We loved the pool and enjoyed our stay very much! Again, the staff here is amazing and I would recommend Moxy to all my friends and family.

This hotel won’t be for everyone with the small rooms, but for a short trip it’s perfect. We stayed here for one night before our cruise and enjoyed the rooftop, bars and restaurant on the property. The bar has a surprisingly great happy hour, $9 cocktails and $9 chips and guac that could easily serve 4 people.Rooms are very small. There is no closet or place to put your luggage in the standard king. But, the rooms are quality and has the best shower I’ve seen in a hotel. Service all around was great as you’d expect from a Marriott property. Everything is aesthetically unique and pleasing here, very nice experience!

The location was amazing and the hotels vibe was great! We arrived a LOT earlier than expected so I called around 8am to see if we could check in early. She told me they should have something by noon. We got there at 10:30 and waited in the lobby until 12:30 and I went to ask her if it was ready yet and she said it would be ready closer to 4… I would’ve went to the beach hours earlier if I were given that info earlier. We went to the beach and she called a little after 3 to say it was ready. We got back at 4 and got checked in and headed to the room for showers. That’s when we noticed there’s no soap of any kind in the room, not even to wash hands in the sink. Weird they would put 2 bottles of conditioner in the shower. The room was very clean and the people were very friendly so overall it was a good stay.

This was my first experience with a Moxy-branded hotel. As this was a trip without children for my wife and I, Moxy was a perfect choice. The hotel is hip and fresh, and very different than other hotels you've stayed at. It is quite appropriate for the South Beach style. The staff is amazing and fresh in a way that matches the overall vibe of the hotel. The rooms are cool, almost 'too cool' - the hanging apparatus on the wall and the computer stand were more fashion than function. We loved the neat shower enclosure. The bartender was super friendly and welcoming. We wish that we could have stayed more than one night.
