We had a cruise so this hotel was the perfect place to stay for a few nights. Loved it, great service and great accommodations. If I’m ever back in Miami I know where my home will be. Thank you Kimpton for making my visit special.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Kimpton EPIC Hotel in Brickell, Miami, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This hotel not only meets the high standards you’d expect from the Kimpton brand but far exceeds them in every way. Check-in was seamless, and they made me feel welcomed immediately, offering a refreshing beverage while my details were finalized. The lobby itself is stunning, with sleek modern décor that sets the tone for the sophisticated yet approachable vibe of the entire property.The rooms at the Kimpton EPIC are nothing short of spectacular. I stayed in a deluxe king room with a balcony overlooking the stunning Miami skyline and Biscayne Bay. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and well-designed, with every detail thoughtfully curated for comfort and style. The bed was incredibly plush, offering the perfect night’s sleep after a day of exploring Miami. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a deep soaking tub, a rainfall shower, and luxe Atelier Bloem toiletries. Pretty disappointing to try to do a cc with a full 3 days before check in only to be told that they won’t do it.Would cancel this hotel trip if I could.Do this often and it’s never an issue

Pool and fitness center are great. Location is awesome if you want to stay in downtown (beach is reachable by car; walkable if you like walking though). However, asked for simple things in the room (coffee mug and wine glass) which were confirmed by the concierge and then, when at the room, nothing was there. Hotel does not offer coffee at the room as well (for at the price they charge, these are really simples asks).

Gorgeous location with fantastic potential but a mess at the detail level.We reserved a suite with a sofa bed to accommodate our son and when we tried to call down to ask for sheets or to have the bed made up we realized the phone didn’t work. Shortly there after the television went black from overheating or something similar, it works for about 10-minutes at a time.The next morning we ran out to breakfast locally and back to the room. As we departed for the day I notice the room wasn’t cleaned up so I called down to ask for it to be done as we were out and the front desk team acknowledged they would send housekeeping.As we headed out for the day the phone rang and it was security asking a odd and broken question: ‘hello, this is security, was the safe… was the room clean when you arrived?’ I said it was clean when we arrived the day before but I had asked for it to be cleaned today since it seems like it was missed and they said ‘thank you’. I felt like they were actually asking about the safe so I checked it and it was locked, but not from us. As we left I told the front desk team we were headed out, would love for the room to be cleaned and if they were actually calling to check on the safe, it was in fact locked by the previous guests. They talked among each other saying ‘the safe in room xxxx still has the things from the previous guests…’ as I waked away.When we got back to the hotel late that evening our key didn’t work for the room door. I went down to have it fixed, they created a new key. I went back up and the same problem, it would not work. I went back down again, they said security would have to help. I went back up and waited, security arrived and let us in.The room wasn’t cleaned so I asked for new towels and for the trash to be emptied. I also mentioned the safe issue and checked, it was still locked. The security person checked the safe and there were four diplomatic passports in it from the previous guests.Eventually clean towels arrived and the trash was emptied. Later they called to say they were crediting the a $100 for our stay for the inconvenience. We answered on speakerphone because the handset still doesn’t work…Gorgeous location, shabby fit and finish of the room and unreliable service people.

Least favourite Kimpton hotel we have ever stayed at.The service was not much to be desired. The front desk attendants don’t even acknowledge you when you’re next in line, we had to walk up and say hi to them first. This happened several times with several different employees.The valet is ran through an app and even when they say the car is ready, you wait in the lobby for 10-15 minutes. We asked where our car was and the valet guy just responded shortly “look at your app.” Rude. They also threaten you that your car will be returned after 15 minutes but they have no need to get your car to you in a timely fashion. Then they expect a tip. As if!The rooms were nice but seemed like someone was in a huge rush to clean them. There’s also a bunch of lights but it’s a pain to figure out how to turn them on. They had water bottles on the nightstands with tiny little 10$ stickers on them that you don’t really see until you’ve opened them - a little scammy on the hotel’s part. Someone from the hotel also walked into our room and we have no idea who it was or what they were doingWhy is the pool only open until 6 pm? How lame is that. A perfect way to make sure people don’t use it and they don’t have to maintain it as much is my guess.Our room had a beautiful view. The location was central to many nice spots in Miami but I’m sure you can find accommodations with way better service in the area.

We checked in on November 22 and everything went smoothly starting with valet, where Alfonso was great. The front desk was very courteous and welcoming and the view from our room was awesome. This was our 35th anniversary and we were looking something special and so far we had found it. We had a couple of drinks at the pool bar and the staff there were great. We ate dinner at Hell's Kitchen and that was awesome. Great food and the service was phenomenal. The next morning we had breakfast at the hotel and the food and service were both fantastic. We checked out on 24 November. While everything was fantastic we had a small incident at valet which was quickly rectified by the Manger of Valet services, Mr. Oscar Cabrera, who went above and beyond to insure our satisfaction. This is how customer service is supposed to work and my sincere thanks to Mr. Cabrera for his professionalism.

The hotel has huge beautiful wooden doors, which would've been amazing if there was either someone there to open them for me when I arrived late in the evening to check-in or if there was even a automatic button to open them. Nothing says welcome like struggling to get your luggage in massive decorative doors. Now, once that was done I will say don't tell was beautiful I love my room even though I'm not a fan of a rain shower, but other than that it was well-appointed comfortable clean and beautiful. And the view at night from my balcony was phenomenal, pop a bottle of wine sit on the balcony and enjoy. And, just as a side note, there was someone manning the doors during the day.

This was my first ever stay at a Kimpton. This boutique-y hotel was in a great location, and minus a few quirks, I really enjoyed my stay.The hotel has a very trendy feel, but the hotel really makes an effort to make it feel comfortable... assuming you are comfortable with everyone in the hotel being much more attractive and flaunting it. :)The rooms were a little sterile for my taste. They have a modern minimalist feel, which to me felt cold. But the rooms are spacious and the views are fantastic. Balconies are incredibly large and offer some limited privacy. I saw many reviews complaining about the room smelling smoky (ash trays are on the balconies), but I didn't smell smoke. That said, I did smell a not-so-pleasant stale funk in the room, but it was nothing too major and could just be a preference thing.The service here is very good. The front door almost always had 2 doormen who opened the full double door for each guest. Check-in and out was quickly. Elevators seem sufficient for the size of the hotel. The lobby is very small but nice and functional. There is a happy hour from 5 to 6 in the lobby where you can get some free wine. Orange infused water is always available near the elevators, and the halfway-decent coffee is free in the lobby in the morning. The roof-deck pool area is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The poolside restaurant was very good and has a great little outdoor area for a quick bite/drink.I do of course have a couple of complaints. The first is the entrance. I did almost entirely walking from my hotel and there is no path to get up to the front door - you have to walk in the very busy driveway - this seems ludicrious to me given the very central and walkable location. Another thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the in room water. There are 2 bottles of water on the night table. The look complimentary, but I noticed towards the end of my stay that the water has a sneaky $10 sticker (see pic) on the top of the cap. This is a shame. For a hotel that really did a great job to not nickle and dime you, I was very dissapoitned with this sneaky move. I was there for work, so I wasnt paying, but it still annoyed me on principle. If you are drinking waters every day and getting them replaced by hosuekeeping, you could easily rack up over $100 in water. Especialyl shameful givent that there is free water in the lobby and a Whoel Foods one block away.Overally I do highly recommend the Kimpton if you are staying in Miami and want a centrally located and trendy hotel near the water with a nice room, a great pool area, and a trendy vibe.

Great hotel and I highly recommend. Located in the heart of Downtown Miami, so you’re close to a lot of amenities, great food, etc. Hotel has a nice pool obviously, GREAT food, and friendly helpful staff. I had a few negatives though. I had a room that had the shared door between to rooms which I did not want and could hear my next door neighbors cough which was annoying. Also the sheets smelled very weird and chemical, they kept replacing them with the same smell but finally got it right. Also, there are a lot of fee’s so make sure you read the small details so you’re not blind sided. There is no self parking here either so if you want the convenience of pulling up you’ll need Valet AND they charge for overnight stay so keep that in mind. Overall GREAT hotel and I highly recommend.

Dissapointing stay. The hotel has great potential, but aside from one sweet front desk worker, the rest of the experience was not positive. We booked a total of 4 rooms for 2 nights with the promise of a late checkout being available given we were there for work. Not only was that reneged upon, which happens, but the hotel's treatment following that was just unpleasant.Given the concentration of hotels in the area, I would advise against staying here. There are better options. Unless and until the management fixes the attitude of the staff, and delivers on what promised, I'd avoid it.

This place is amazing. Our room on the 30th floor had a view of the river and the balcony is huge. The room was spacious and room service each day was appreciated. The bellmen downstairs were always pleasant in greeting you when you arrived and left. This was a great choice. Even though we did not have time for the pool, we went down and checked it out. It was pretty amazing as well.

I honestly did not enjoy my stay here that much at all the room was decent I enjoyed the view from the balcony however the shower is not great and only comes straight down so it’s like you have to stand at an awkward angle to get there. There is also a window you could see from the bed room into the bathroom which doesn’t give you any privacy especially when you’re staying with other people. The service was not good at all valet was horrible and made us pay an additional $28 into our $50 a day parking because we changed cars on the last stay of our day which is ridiculous to think about because we’ve already stayed at the hotel. The only great thing about the location is that it is walking distance from Hell’s Kitchen where we were able to enjoy a good meal. Overall not the best experience and I think there are definitely better more spacious hotels with better lighting in the area for a great price
