We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Element!! Greg at the front desk was so lovely and helpful, Alex had such a warm and welcoming vibe about him. The location is perfect, everything is right outside the door! I also thought the continental breakfast was one of the best I’ve had.. it included all the classics (cereal, bread, bagels, etc), BUT also had a yogurt bar, hard boiled eggs and a little hot egg bar with frittatas and scrambles. One afternoon we walked in and there was assorted cheese, crackers and drinks available for guests which I thought was such a nice little touch. Honestly, I could not fault a single thing about this hotel and everyone that works there is clearly well trained in hospitality!

This location was perfect. Will absolutely stay here again!! Loved everything about this hotel. Staff was amazing. Nice clean rooms, very comfortable bed. Love the little kitchenette area with the filtered water in room furnished glass water bottle. I love the terrace area. One of the better breakfast that I’ve had at a hotel in a very long time. Healthier breakfast options, walking distance to everything. Of restaurants, coffee, shops, and breweries in the area.

I had the BEST stay at Element in Minneapolis this week. Parking was a bit confusing at first, but once I figured that out, Greg was INCREDIBLY welcoming & friendly when I got in. He answered all my questions & made sure I knew how to get to Target Field for the Twins game.Additionally, the room was PERFECT. Spacious, great for work travel, & a great location -- easy to walk to coffee shops or restaurants. I ended up having the breakfast included at the hotel & it was delicious & all the staff was quick to offer to wipe down the tables or pick up my dishes. I cannot say enough about my stay. Absolutely wonderful!!

"Booji" and fancy but pricey hotel but the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are very nice. One negative, I do have younger children who like to take baths instead of showers. Also I was on a medical comped stay for my daughter's appointment with her oncology team, and I was still charged $50/night incidentals fee. I just think it's kind of obvious if I'm getting a comped medical stay, this isn't some sort of pleasure trip. I'm here to make sure my daughter has remained cancer free. Not smoke in your rooms or destroy your rooms. $25 incidentals is what I get charged at the other hotel we get medical comps, so I was a bit taken aback when it was 4x that price. The location is super busy at all times and pretty difficult to get in and out of. Maybe I'm too used to the laid back lifestyle of small town life, but takes 2x for me to get to the entrance every stay!

Recently stayed at this hotel with a friend while in town for a Morgan Wallen concert. We were both pleasantly surprised! A quality hotel for much less than other hotels closer to downtown. The lobby is beautiful; rooms are extremely clean and the decorations tasteful and fun. We felt very safe in the area (hotel is situated in the middle of University of Minnesota campus). It’s also steps away from the light rail (Minneapolis’s public transit), which was super convenient. And it’s attached to a Starbucks on one end and Chic-fil-A on the other?! I don’t know what else a girl could ask for.The only (minor) downside was that the bathroom was a bit small. However that is truly my only complaint and I would certainly stay here again if given the opportunity.

Positives: Location is convenient if you want to be on campusRooms are large and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.Negatives: Saturday night I could not sleep until 3 am. People on the street partying, screaming, publicly urinating. Cars are drag racing. No rest during the day either if your room is facing the main entrance. I asked for another room facing away from the main entrance and the hotel staff kindly accommodated my request. I appreciate that (it because of the staff the rating is 3 stars, otherwise I would have given 1 star). Still, if you are staying here, make sure to ask for a room that does not face the main entrance. Not sure if location of the room would have made a difference for the noise from drag racing.Hotel does not have laundry/dry cleaning services, which is surprising. They can recommend local dry cleaners, but you would have to make all arrangements yourself. It seems that no laundry/dry cleaners work on Sundays. The front desk is understaffed. Waits can be long.

We stayed here when visiting our Daughter at school. The rooms and location were fine. What wasn't fine was their price match "guarantee".On their website they state their hotel site has the best prices, guaranteed. I saw cheaper prices elsewhere but booked with them knowing they would honor their word and commitment, as touted on their website. They did not.Three emails to the guarantee and outside of the "we are looking are it" four months ago, not a single reply. I even tried to email their executive team and had no luck.If they lie like this and go out of their way to not honor their agreements, what else are they doing and do you want to give them your money? So perhaps your visit will go fine but if not,the odds of getting it made right appear to be low.

I LOVE this hotel and concept. Located on college campuses, they are beautiful with that study hall ambiance. Rooms feature famous residents of the state and fun sports facts. Students can be found at the long table in the lobby gathering for study. We were in Minneapolis at the UofM, but I understand they have other locations on other college campuses. You have to book a room there if you get the chance.

On campus but quiet, very easy access, parking in structure. Staff was very helpful and polite. Gorgeous lobby, they have air hockey and table shuffleboard in the restaurant, with Starbucks at the bottom of the building too. Rooms are adorably themed. Bed was a little hard.
