Staff is very friendly, everything is very clean and although nothing special rooms are comfortable.Super frustrating: do not depend on any amenities (including the ones you are charged a resort fee for).One two different evenings, we went to restaurants that were closed before their posted hours without signage or explanation- the rooftop and the grill. The other restaurants posted signs apologizing for closing early. How am I at a resort with so many restaurants and Im uber eating?The pool and golf were closed- golf had no signage so we had to get there to be sent away.In room dining does not work online, so although the room has a QR code pushing you to use it, it wont let you order just says theyre closed. Took us 3 days to consider calling to ask why room service was always off, and find out we HAD to call it in.We came planning to utilize the resort ameneties after our work event, and actually take a vacation. We will reconsider Marriott in general in the future given the lack of functioning amenities.Again, friendly staff, clean, well decorated. Great place to lay your head- just know its really just a place to stay and dont plan to be able to take advantage of the amenities
It's always a pleasure to be able to write a positive, well-earned review.My family and I stayed here last year for around 45 days after a house fire. I've since been back on several occasions as we temporarily moved away from the area.The staff here are incredible. On so many occasions I've had people go well above and beyond their job roles and I've been treated as a friend or family member.When I first checked in, Tyler at the front desk recognized me. This young man was promoted from a bellman to a front desk agent. He shared his passion for helping others with me and he's an incredibly genuine person. Tyler went on to help me on several other occasions, always with a smile and sense of urgency. It's great to see Tyler and Marriott spreading their shared values.I'm very grateful for Jory, Guillermo, Daniel, Adam, Keeshawn, and countless others that go above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.There are great amenities and everything that you'd expect from a luxury hotel. However, this review is about the people that make the experience.Thank you all for your continued kindness and support.
The entire property is beautiful! The service is top-notch and something all hotels should aspire to achieve. Unfortunately, the hotel knew they had a captive audience, and this was reflected in the prices. I felt gouged at every turn. This is a beautiful hotel and I would highly recommend it for anyone, just bring a full wallet!
We had a great stay here. The hotel is beautiful and very quiet, the rooms are quite a bit smaller than the typical JW rooms, but they’re set up well. The staff are probably some of the nicest hotel staff I’ve ever experienced, every single one was super attentive. Samantha in the lobby bar was one of the highlights of our weekend for late-night dining. The coffee shop in the lobby was also really convenient and served real good coffee/espresso drinks and pastries. The only thing I’d recommend is double and triple check your hotel bill at the end of your stay; they ended up charging our room for another room’s food and drinks at the pool, and they charged my card $300 randomly during our stay. The front desk promptly resolved the issue, but only after I realized it. Self-parking is $38 a night and the resort fee is $50 a night.
Stayed at the JW Bonnet Creek for the 4th of July. I frequent this hotel often, mostly for work but this was to relax and enjoy the holiday. The service and staff are always excellent, however this time a special team member made our stay exceptionally memorable. I want to thank Luis at the front desk for the lovely hospitality and surprise fruit basket in our suite. We were also able to enjoy all the fireworks and drone show with the most amazing view from our upgraded room. Although I was not able to personally thank him, our stay was something we will never forget and most appreciative of. We will be visiting again soon!
The location of the hotel is the best. Two of the three restaurants are amazing. The third, named Unreserved, is the worst. The service is terrible. It's as if an entirely different entity was placed on the 1st floor next to the pool. The food is awful and over priced. The servers are rude and/or non existent.The elevator situation is a mess. You can only go to the roof top on a special elevator that you need to take from the lobby. You will need to go down on the regular elevators to the lobby to go back up to the roof top. Good luck if the elevator starts working at 6pm.The view from the rooftop is spectacular.The parking lot has a whole other set of elevators.The valet is overpriced and the service is spotty. Sometimes you will get your vehicle tended to with a smile, sometimes with a scowl.The rooms on the surface appear to be clean but they do not vacuum the floors or wash the the bathroom floors.
It's an amazing place. We have been to many Marriott properties. Lakeshore Reserve is like no other. The landscaping and flora are breathtaking! From the front desk to the bartenders to the staff in general, everyone is attentive, accommodating, and friendly. The lazy river and slides are a welcome surprise and awesome!
Best hotel experience I have ever had. I took videos of the property to show my dad so he would be inspired to go, and of course bring my family along for the ride! I can't wait to visit again. Honestly.
