Room was clean and decorated nicely which is why I typically enjoy staying with Hotel Indigo. However this location was not good. Our shower head did not work and we had to shower with a handheld attachment. Staff insisted we didn’t know how to switch the settings, but I promise you we messed around with it a lot, and when set to the shower head setting, it just leaked out of the corner. The refrigerated foods available in the lobby were all expired, so that was disgusting and frustrating as we got in late after a concert and were hungry. Parking was $30 which I was unaware of at the time of booking. And the parking lot was very small so I’m shocked we even got a spot. The hotel is located next to a busy highway so traffic was very noisy the whole night. The hotel provides ear buds for this. I know there’s nothing they can do about this problem, but still worth mentioning if people are light sleepers.Overall, this stay was not worth the price I paid and I expect way more from an IHG hotel.

We had the pleasure of staying here for a day. They were super friendly and accommodating, even after I realized I booked for not enough nights, they gave me a discount rate and didn't over charge me. The rooftop was very pretty and the hotel was very clean and chic. The rooms were renovated and big, just a little bit dark for our taste. Parking was $30 per day, we wished it was free of charge, we weren't notified until after we parked. The area isn't as safe as we thought. Overall we really recommend this place the staff was incredible and we would come back here again!

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! We worked with Renee to have our room block here for our wedding in August 2024. We rented out a suite for the bride and groom to stay and the girls to get ready in the morning. All my vendors raved about the spacious and gorgeous suite and how perfect it was! There were 2 bathrooms and lots of room for 10+ girls to hang out in. The hotel is new and clean and very nice at a good price- cheaper than most other hotels in the area! We also rented out the Eliza Bistro for our after party and it was perfect! We got bar bites which were great, and the bartenders were super friendly and inviting. The bar is spacious and nice, tucked to the side so we weren't out in the open in the lobby. Renee was great in helping us get all of this organized. From the very beginning she was attentive, responsive, and wonderful to work with on all the details and questions we had. It was a great experience and we highly recommend anyone getting married in the Oakland or Southside area to consider using for their room block, getting ready suite, and/or after party! We cannot say enough great things! It made our wedding weekend so much better and we are so happy we went with this hotel.

We stayed for two days in a room with two queen size beds. The room is spacious but since it is next to the highway it was noisy and we could hardly sleep without ear plugs.Room somehow had a moldy smell, maybe a dehumidifier would be nice.Reception is next to the bar/restaurant and the music from the bar was so loud when we checked in and we had to keep yelling back to the receptionist.Hotel has a workout room also.

Flew in to visit our adult son who’s a graduate student here, and to attend his first triathlon. Reserved a room with two queen beds for three nights so our son could stay with us, and we could leave early for the race. When we checked in, we were told that they had our reservation for two queen beds, but none were available because they had oversold the hotel which was now full.Long story short, and about 40 minutes later waiting for reception to make phone calls to management (who were not answering their phones) to see what could be done, we accepted a king bed handicap room for one night, and had to send our son back to his apartment, a 35 minutes drive away at 12:30 a.m.A saving grace was the poor receptionist. She was extremely professional and nice, and handled the situation very well. She did all she could to get us into “A” room while frantically calling management to no avail (all while she was being chewed out by another guest whose room was 78 degrees because the a/c wasn’t working). Evidently, the other guest had spoken with management (Dan?) about the issue earlier in the day, but nothing was done. Unfortunately for her, we got the only room left as there were no more rooms to move her to either. Our room was just okay (minus our son), but better than nothing at 1:00 in the morning after a long day of travel - and at least ours wasn’t 78+ degrees. Would I stay here again? Likely would not risk it until management is changed…there’s just too many things going wrong. The hunt for another hotel begins tomorrow, so we can at least get what we actually reserved - time with our son.UPDATE: The next morning, our reservation was fully refunded without question or issue and in a manner that a business should act to address mistakes. Again, the front desk staff was exceptionally professional, nice and fully apologetic - they are commendable and were the the saving grace of this bad situation.

It was the perfect choice for our little 10 year anniversary getaway. Every single staff member we came in contact with was kind, helpful, and personable. Special shout out to the shuttle drivers Marvin & Jim who got us around the city to see the sights and have great food. They were amazing! The hotel itself and the room was set up and decorated in a way that made it feel more special and like a vacation than other hotels we’ve been to in the past. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Indigo, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! From the moment I walked in, Max greeted me with a warm and genuine smile, instantly making me feel at home. His professionalism and attention to detail were evident as he efficiently checked me in and provided all the necessary information about the hotel’s amenities. Max went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect in every way.The room was immaculate, with modern decor and all the comforts one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a fantastic view from my window. The hotel’s facilities, including the fitness center and the on-site restaurant, were top-notch and added to the overall experience.I cannot recommend Hotel Indigo highly enough! If you’re looking for a hotel that combines luxury, comfort, and outstanding service, look no further. My stay at Hotel Indigo was unforgettable, and I can’t wait to return!Thank you, Max, and the entire Hotel Indigo team for making my stay so special!

We stayed overnight celebrating our anniversary, first let me say the manager Tina was excellent!! We had the dinner date night package and the restaurant we chose was unavailable and Tina very easily accommodated us with different dinner plans. Then when we checked in we were pleasantly surprised to find that we were upgraded to the presidential suite!!! It was a very nice stay.I would have given the rooms 5 stars, but I realized later that the sheets on our bed was not clean as it should have been. And again, the hotel rectified that as well.I would definitely stay there again, overall our experience was very enjoyable. All staff were extremely nice including housekeeping!!!

Great stay at the main house which was filled with charm. Fit our expectations for an old school room and neat to do some wandering on the main level. Good breakfast offerings and friendly staff.

Overall the room was nice and spacious and somewhat updated, but we would have really liked a small fridge to store a few water bottles. On the whole, it was ok but some of the negatives were (1) we thought we were staying in the main bldg but we were actually in the Amberson House next door. If you want the main bldg (pretty bldg) you need to make sure to request when booking it (2) we were told when booking it that our stay included breakfast - it did not. (3) When we went back to our room the first night we found out there was no bedding anywhere for the sleeper sofa so had to trek all the way over to the main bldg at 10:30 pm and wait for the front desk person to get it for me which wasn't quick, and quite frankly it would have been nice if he offered to bring it over to our room since it was late. The front desk call button on the room phone did not work. (4) There is one garbage can in the downstairs of the Amberson House that was full on day 1. We had some garbage (not a lot) and we could barely fit it in the garbage can and I told the front desk twice and the morning of day 3 it was still overflowing. (5) B/c the garbage downstairs was overflowing, the last night we left a paper bag outside our room door that was empty but maybe had some food crumbs and the next morning it was completely covered in ants. We had also noticed an ant problem in our room's bathroom. We would opt to stay somewhere else next time mainly bc the staff/service weren't very helpful at all. Very poorly managed. Otherwise location was pretty good.

Wonderful location and beautiful rooms. The staff was very accommodating of our family get together. Bill, Carrisa, and Suzanne were exceptionally kind as we were all in town for a funeral. Their kindness made a hard circumstance that much more bearable. Thank you.

Stayed in the bridal suite overnight. Great room and great people. Zach is the best. He answered any questions we had both during our wedding and our recent stay. One of the kindest and most helpful individuals my wife and I have ever encountered.
