Terrible stay. The room next door was extremely loud at 1am and Tynetta who was Overnight Supervisor sent security which did nothing and they refused to shut down their party. Bad place for business trips.

I treated my wife to a trip to Cleveland to celebrate our anniversary at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and booked a room at the Hilton Downtown Cleveland. Because this was a fun, romantic getaway, I splurged and reserved a corner window, lakeview room. The location was phenomenal. The service was good. The room left a lot to be desired.I was very disappointed in the room. There was obvious physical damage to the room before we got there: a lampshade was broken off one of the wall sconce lamps. Bedside power outlets were broken and inoperable. I reported the issues to the concierge in the lobby, who just thanked me for letting her know.

Good stay, great service. My wife and I stayed at Hotel Cleveland for a night recently. Room was good, although a neighbor was playing TV loudly and sound came through to our room. The front desk staff helped us a lot with their service. Gigi had coffee sent up promptly when the pods stocked in the room were only decaf. Nadia provided us with some moisturizing lotion from her own supply when my wife forgot to pack ours. We really appreciated the stuff going above and beyond!

It was pretty amazing! Came in the evening, free parking. A 31 story elevator ride with ears popping! And then breathtaking views from the bright colored LED lit top floor of this huge new building in downtown Cleveland. You can spot this restaurant refuge from the ground and it is definitely worth the ride! Food menu is limited, and non-alcoholic beverages are available.

Check your credit/bank cards ran through this hotel. We stayed at this hotel and used our Hilton card that had previously been inactive to book. I used another card for breakfast and a third for front desk items. Every card had a fraudulent charge of $1800 run in the name of “Microsoft” — some multiple. Our last transactions were through this hotel. While I cannot definitively prove this one I will note something we can. Both my sisters stayed here at the same time. We had breakfast and my sister paid $75 cash. They called her in her room and asked if she had breakfast and she said yes and they hung up. I told her to check with the desk because I bet she has a charge. Sure enough they took the cash and charged it to her room. They played it off as a “mix up” and took it off.My other sister was given a room key. Her and the family went up to the room and unlocked it and OTHER PEOPLE WERE IN THE BED! They went to the front desk and were assigned another room and offered free breakfast.Lastly, the stay was not comfortable. The pillows were like sponges in a pillow case. The only good thing I can say is location is nice, but not worth it. Walk the extra 2 blocks. If you’ve stayed here check all accounts used here and also room charges. But if you can avoid staying here — please do.

Very clean, rooms and common area well maintained. Quiet. My only problem was that my bed in room 1906 was very worn out and had a big sag in it. Needs replaced to be a four star hotel bed. The bed is the most important thing in the room.

In the middle of my second time here, and I came back due to the great service, clean rooms, and good breakfast options for those looking to use the Gold or Diamond credit.Nice new hotel, rooms are fairly large and have everything you would expect for a Hilton. Have not heard any of my neighbors or any doors closing in the hallway, so soundproofing seems to be pretty good here. Depending on your room, they can have great views of the lake or downtown.Breakfast is solid, the buffet is a step above what you would expect for a hotel in the US and includes fresh made eggs or omelet. There are also numerous a la cart options as well as a grab and go in the lobby. The rooftop bar is great for sunset as well. The pool is just long enough for lap swims in the morning and the gym is adequately equipped, although I feel it is slightly small for the number of rooms the hotel has. I've been here twice, and will return again the next time I am in Cleveland.

Stayed at this property 2 nights in June.Great city views on high floors. John from valet went ABOVE and beyond. He provided Exceptional customer service! Rooftop bar is a great place to grab a cocktail and watch the sunset! I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're going to a Browns game. The stadium is right there.

Usually love Marriott, which is why our experience was surprise. Check in was at 4 pm, and we got there at about 4:30, but the entrance was full of people waiting for their reserved rooms. We were told cleaning was behind. We waited until 6:30 pm till the room was ready.Once we finally got a room, the card key wasn’t working. A Marriott rep let us in our room and told us she’d come back with keys that worked. That never happened. We checked out without ever getting a key.WiFi didn’t work, and our phones had no bars in our room. The next morning, it took over an hour for the valet to find our car.We asked for a discount, and they said unless we’re a Bonvoy member, they can’t do that. Normal service requires more than paying for the room. You have to be a memeber of everything these days to get basics like a key that works for your room.

This is a good hotel, we just got some bad service and a bad room. The woman who checked us in at night was outstanding and helpful. Unfortunately her morning counterpart couldn't be bothered with our complaints. We overlooked the first challenge which is the distanced from the front desk to our room. That was about a 7-minute walk, needing two different elevators and going through the galleria. Our room was facing the parking garage. Unfortunately both curtains were broken so we couldn't completely shut and block the light. Also there was no bar of soap in our bathroom. When we shared our disappointment with the morning clerk, she looked up from her keyboard and said "how frustrating." We are frequent Marriott guests, but I don't know if I would return to this place. Which is a shame because it isn't a very convenient location.

UPDATE - Stayed here again, I stand behind my 3 star review. Original room had same carpet issue in high traffic area, this time the outside freezer door had what looked like chocolate splattered on it. TV had streak marks from whatever cleaner/rag was used. Multiple light fixtures were broken. And worst of all, the A/C was not working. Switched to a different room, now in the Euclid tower, and while the room was mostly better, also had broken light fixtures.Location still the only thing going for the place, but will start looking elsewhere in downtown for hotels in CLE.ORIGINAL REVIEW-Room was tired, needs a renovation.Housekeeping needs to do better, though I wonder if maybe it’s the management that needs to do better, as there was cheese from a previous guest in my fridge, one of the couch pillows was behind the couch instead of on the couch, carpet(in a high traffic area) was horribly worn. Door handle on shower door was horribly loose.Breakfast was as expected at least. Location was great, too bad that’s the best thing going for this place.

A great location for Rocket Fieldhouse and Progressive Field. But the property is a bit odd. It’s spread over a few buildings, and some of the rooms are a genuine HIKE away … with two elevators, a ramp, and stairs. Then the odd room is HUGE but with very few “standard” furnishings and a loft with no separate A/C and no fan. In otherwords a huge nice king size bed in what feels like a huge HOT attic! Weird. The staff at breakfast was a true bright spot! Kind congenial and set a wonderful buffet with lots of welcoming conversation. Front desk, while competent, could use a serving of the breakfast staff’s “oatmeal” to help ‘em smile. The pic of the chairs in the breakfast area … and ALL I do mean all of them !!! were ratty like this, says it all. The hotel is a bit of a mixed bag. It could be great! Solidly Marriott!! And then other parts will remind you of a heavily travelled and worn out Comfort Inn off the Interstate.

This hotel is beautiful!!! The assistant manager Julie was so accommodating! She made my stay feel like at home. Best hospitality I’ve ever seen. The building is absolutely beautiful, a true treasure to stay in at the least. This is probably the nicest hotel in downtown Cleveland. Highly recommend!

Potentially good hotel... Reasonable infrastructure. I felt like the manager did not have enough staff to run her hotel smoothly... although she was excellent herself... It was 4 days before my 1st housekeeping visit despite a previous request... Shower floor was dirty. Inside of the rooms looked great. Please close the blinds showing the section of the hotel with the recycle bins... Glad to see no bugs at all!Stairway smelled... sort of creepy how quiet the area is...I think you are really missing out on not capitalizing on the greatness of the history of the hotel... That should be a great point... along with the proximity to some great food places...Gym needs water & a TV/ radio (excellent towel supply). Laundry needs credit card options.Nice standard breakfast buffet but the class would be better with silverware & real plates. Staff attentive but yelled at customers about covering lids... perhaps asking nicely but assertively would work better? For a great way on how to run a Residence Inn, visit the 1 in downtown Dallas... Lots of potential at your location so close to the Basketball stadium!Unfortunately, the homeless/ beggars to the SE of the entrance is problematic but I noticed your team was able to get them to move along quite nicely later in the week...
