The most incredible wedding venue! It feels as if you've been transported to Europe, but it's just a drive away. A photographer's dream!

I came here for a spa day at 1pm and there was a wedding band that was rehearsing SO loud you could hear it through most of the spa.The spa service was nice but when we tried to leave, we wanted to go up to the house to take a picture (it was my birthday and we both were dressed up to go out to dinner) and the security guard scolded us and said absolutely no one could walk up to or drive by the mansion 😒 never thought we’d go to the Glenmere and not actually be able to SEE the mansion. Sorta disappointing experience as I thought this would be our go-to spa in the area.

What a lovely and luxurious place! Very well kept, very friendly staff, very regal atmosphere. Rooms were transforming you to an older time period however still has all the modern conveniences as well as some really cool features like a heated tile floor in the bathroom! The food was also very high quality and delicious. Portions were large and filling. If I lived closer I probably would go there just for occasional dining, it's that good. Overall a wonderful escape that is peaceful, classy, and beautiful!

Glenmere Mansion is an absolute gem! My partner and I stayed for the weekend and were pleasantly pleased with the white glove service, beautiful grounds, and delicious food! We enjoyed their vast majority of cocktails and dinner was “fresh and tasteful.”We also tried out the spa and absolutely loved the turkish bath ritual.Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great weekend getaway.

We were there during a slow period so the dining room was only open for breakfast However we had the full menu in the frog bar and it was delicious. The tables in the bar were not meant for dinner service so Adjustments had ti be made to accommodate a full dinner with wine, etc. Check in and ask before you book to be sure the dining room will be in use. There were also many things to do such as fishing, hiking, kayaking, outdoor workout area, tennis courts, and the pool and hot tub were perfectly set. They will not tell you about these extra amenities at check in . You either explore and find them or scan the QR codes at the morning coffee/tea area to learn about them.Overall a breathtaking and beautiful place. The spa was superior ,it was a great getaway!!

Had the pleasure of staying at Glenmere over New Years. Beautiful grounds and space. Spa experience was incredible. We loved sitting in the game room sipping wine and playing backgammon. Staff was accommodating and friendly. The rooms are decent, the beds are unfortunately not very comfortable - sheets weren’t luxurious and they strangely used standard sized pillows on a king size bed (weird thing for me to be concerned with but it was odd and added to the uncomfortable of the bed). The dining is decent, as well. It was not noteworthy, steaks and lobster at separate meals were very overcooked - almost felt as thought it was trying a bit to hard to be “fancy” but lacked any real technique or substance to the dishes. These are nit-picky things. If the beds and bedding were updated I would definitely make a trip back.

We were a party of 7 (3 kids) divided in 2 rooms. We truly enjoyed our stay there. Manny and the rest of the hotel crew have been super nice, patient and welcoming.Position of the hotel is central to every destination with close access to subway. Our well designed rooms had a very nice view of the lower town and ample showers (They’re not big though). Our dog was welcome. The bar at the second floor is cozy and the one at 35th floor is stylish with great view of the Empire State Building (I’d recommend booking this last one).Complimentary coffee was available until approx middle of the morning and we got a forfeited $30 daily room spending at the bar for breakfast that was good enough for our needs.Gym of a good size, with a couple of Peloton bikes and the essentials to stay fit.Recommended!

Small rooms but comfortable. I had a great view of the Empire State Building. It’s also walkable from Madison square garden.Great for a quick stay in the city. I was only in town for 18 hours total and only in the room for about 6 hours, but it’s a great place for that. Nice shower and a good sleep.Breakfast and coffee at the cafe in the lobby was super yummy, great for my early morning flight.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Moxy Chelsea, and it was an experience to remember! The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable—centrally located, just a short walk from Penn Station, making it incredibly convenient to get around Midtown and beyond. Whether heading downtown or exploring the nearby attractions, everything was so accessible. The room itself was perfect—cozy, stylish, and exactly what I needed for a relaxing stay. But what truly took my breath away were the views. Waking up to such stunning NYC skyline was one of the highlights of my trip.A huge thank you to the Moxy team for their exceptional hospitality. I felt well taken care of from start to finish, and I can't wait to return on my next visit to NYC!

What a find! A hotel that doesn't break the bank, very stylish, great midtown location just a couple of blocks from Penn Station (I flew into Newark so it was a straight train ride there), and in the sweet-smelling Flower Market! Staff were great, and while the place was always buzzing I had very little street noise. Sure, the rooms are tiny, but they make effective, well-appointed use of the space. I'd stay here again for sure.

Small rooms in a central NYC hotel that's reasonably priced??? What a surprise! People complaining about room size should probably up their budget instead of expecting a mansion.Stayed for 5 nights, room was clean and modern. The view was also incredible! Staff were lovely and always quick to help.If you're looking for a hassle-free, reasonably priced and comfortable stay in a good location, I'd definitely recommend this place.

The price range for romantic hotels in New York can vary significantly depending on the location and amenities offered. In the heart of Manhattan, expect luxury stays to range from $300 to $800 per night. Upscale boutique hotels and iconic properties tend to fall within the higher end, while charming, intimate inns and bed-and-breakfasts outside the city can range from $150 to $400 per night. Prices may also fluctuate based on the season, with rates generally higher during peak travel periods such as holidays and summer.

When is the best time to visit New York for a romantic getaway?

The best time to visit New York for a romantic getaway depends on your preferences. Spring (April to June) offers blooming gardens and pleasant weather, ideal for outdoor activities like Central Park picnics. Fall (September to November) is perfect for couples who enjoy cooler weather, scenic walks through colorful foliage, and cozy evenings. Winter, especially during the holiday season, transforms New York into a festive wonderland, offering ice skating and holiday lights. Summer can be hot but offers rooftop dining and vibrant events, making it a popular option for couples.
