We did not stay at this hotel however I ate at a restaurant there. The decor of the hotel is really nice the servicing will and they are pet friendly. I would not stay there because of the pets. Front desk was very accommodating as we tried to find our restaurant inside the hotel.

The rooms here are beautiful! I generally stay at Marriott’s, so I’ve also stayed at The Bohemian a few times, which is also beautifully decorated. The JW is my least favorite in Savannah; the rooms are a bit bland.I was upgraded to the Penthouse suite, which is a fabulous room with its own outdoor balcony on the 5th floor. No need to go to the rooftop when you have this room. I will say, the room does have a wet/water smell to it and I did find a slow water leak coming from one of the sconces next to the bed. I called the front desk, they sent an engineer over immediately and said it’s ok to stay the night in the room and they’ll work on it tomorrow. I was leaving the next day, but I’m assuming it’s fixed now.Even if you have a regular room at this hotel, they’re all so nicely decorated. And the staff is very attentive. I love it here!

Amazing stay here! We would highly recommend due to the service levels of friendliness and professionalism to the room and amenities and the additional happy hour available - including a great team in the bar - shout out to Brendan for his hospitality! Even when we had light continuously flickering on and off and it escalating in how often it occurred, over the course of a 3 night stay, they accommodated a new room at 1am immediately on our last night! We were ever so grateful! Definitely a place to stay and check out!

Amazing stay!!! I loved how clean the hotel was and how helpful the staff was - Especially Alejandra!! She helped us through all our questions and make it so easy for tourists of Savannah. Great amenities and the rooms were so clean! I loved that they had water fountains on each floor and water bottles available - definitely made my stay so easy. Hotel bikes were another great perk. Would go back to Savannah just for this hotel!

The hotel was very elegant & upscale from the lobby to the rooms which had a modern but luxury feel. We were greeted in the lobby with complementary glasses of champagne 🍾, cookies, and free monogram/logo refillable water bottles. The pool was nice but a bit small. The only thing I disliked service wise was when we arrived and I spoke to valet about parking. He automatically assumed I was not staying at the property and says “Our parking garage is private” shut him down real quick when I handed him the key. He was rude but I wasn’t going to let that ruin my experience. The other service we received at the hotel was good.

This is possibly the most thoughtful hotel I have stayed at. When you check in they give you an empty water bottle and they provide hydration stations on every floor - with both still and sparkling water. Only five years old, the spacious lobby is studded with ample leather couches and easy chairs. There is a lobby bar, a pool bar/restaurant, a rooftop bar/restaurant, and a full restaurant. Live music on the weekends. The room anticipates every one of my hotel pet peeves and resolves them elegantly. The fully accessible bathroom has a shower I wish I could have at home and a nightlight (IMO the number one most overlooked amenity). There is a large upholstered window bench that doubles as a place to put luggage. Underneath the bench, the drawers pull out to reveal a refrigerator, a room safe, and tons of storage. The large flat screen TV easily connects to your phone for casting. The nightstands each offer charging plugs in a variety of configurations.

Great location and beautiful hotel! The rooms are comfortable with a wonderful window seat with built in table and mini fridge! The water stations on each floor with the option of sparkling is over the top. The pool is gorgeous and the drinks are delicious. Overall, every employee from the valet to maid service are very accommodating and friendly. Special thank you to Ryan Thompson for always taking care of us. We will only stay here when we visit Savannah!

I absolutely loved staying here the house is just gorgeous. The check in process was seamless and parking was so convenient. The bed was extremely comfortable and the toiletries they provided were very nice. I was in the hydrangea suite which was lovely with 2 bedrooms one with a king bed and one with a queen bed. Chemise was a great host with wonderful breakfast and coffee. I can’t wait to stay here again!

Location’ is walking distance to just about everything. Service is great. The rooms could use some attention. Overall the inn has a vintage (boutique?) feel, but for the price it could maintain that feel without structural neglect.

I booked the Inn for my husband and I's anniversary. We arrived to see a building that did not reflect the pristine pictures. The front stairs are super steep and we were rushed through our check in as there was someone behind us. We arrived to our room to discover a giant hornet hanging out on the chandelier that looked like it may fall out of the ceiling. The room itself was barely large enough for my husband and I and our two suitcases. There was no way to control the temperature in the room so we roasted the first night. The room was worn and had been haphazardly restored at different times based on the water damage, missing trim and worn paint. The breakfast was delicious, we did enjoy that part. We were so uncomfortable that we considered not staying the second night. You're paying for location with this place to be sure as we were a few blocks from the best that Savannah has to offer. We would not stay again.

For an anniversary trip, we stayed in the Rose room. The food and hospitality from Chemise was fantastic. The location in relation to walking distance to many things was also great. The room itself was a bit disappointing for a couples stay. It was small, had no way to adjust the room temperature other than a small portable fan which was quite dusty. The bathroom had a very small single shower and while was fairly clean the initial look and feel was that it was not as clean as it could be. I attribute that to dust, paint splatter, unfinished painting and shower tile stains. The shower door did not have a locking closure but pulled in past the opening. Could definitely have been more elegant given other factors of the house.

I stayed here for a retreat from Nov 1-4 and I can’t say enough about how amazing my stay was here. The house is absolutely gorgeous in every way. Our room was comfortable and clean. It was in a great location within walking distance to many attractions. But I think the thing that really made our stay TOP NOTCH was Chemise, our hostess, chef and inn keeper. She was hospitable, attentive and an incredible cook! She made our stay even more memorable. Thank you Chemise!

We stayed here October 2023 and it was a great experience. We stayed in the dahlia room which was a nice size and had a largecomfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and the inn has a great location within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. There were a couple things that I would have loved that would’ve put our stay over the top. One is that many of the bed and breakfasts we stayed in on our trip had robes in the rooms which was a nice touch but the amethyst does not. The second is that our room did not have a TV and I don’t think any of the rooms do. After spending all day sightseeing and on my feet I would’ve loved to have been able to come back and watch something. If we return to Savannah we would stay here again and would recommend it to our friends!
