Generally the property is good but the service and food isn’t great. I’m worried that Jean Georges signed off on this stuff. Whats funny is they say the restaurant is booked and then you just go on Resy and book a table. As a hotel guest it creates a weird dynamic. At least have good food if you’re gonna parade fake exclusivity.

We just spent our Honeymoon at this beautiful resort. It is absolutely stunning inside and out. Beautiful views everywhere you look. We played golf at Full Cry twice. Wonderful course and beautiful Clubhouse. The pool is spectacular. We ate at Crawfords, the Clubhouse and Marigolds. Exceptional service was to be had everywhere. We will certainly be back. If you are looking for peace, quiet and luxury, this resort will not disappoint.

Keswick popped up on my radar several years ago for their golf course;I did not have the chance to visit until this past weekend. Didn’t play golf, just enjoyed the resort for several days.Service is as you would expect from a resort with this reputation. Spot on, not too heavy handed and always around when needed. The property itself is stunning. The views from the rooms, pool, dining areas are classic Blue Ridge with some golf sprinkled in the foreground. For the upscale nature, the vibe was relaxed. Likely more so in the summer as guests come and go in bathing suits to the pool. Never felt uncomfortable or out of place. The design and layout for the pool puts Keswick over the edge in terms of feeling ritzy and justifying the price tag. Had such a nice afternoon enjoying the sun with a few beverages. This property is essentially down the road from Charlottesville proper and what seemed to be a winery every few miles. If you need to stretch your legs and get off resort for a bit, you won’t be bored. That being said, you feel like you are a world away while actually in the grounds of KH.I will save full thoughts on Marigold’s for their review but I went twice in the span of 24 hours for different meals and it was a totally different experience each time. Excellent!I cannot wait to make up an excuse to visit again soon.

This was our second trip to Keswick Hall. It has been completely remodeled since our first visit in 2017. The property is absolutely beautiful in every way. They managed to keep the charm it had in 2017 and improve on it. The dining options are Crawford’s and The Marigold. Both have fantastic food. We traveled as a family with 2 young children and the Keswick is accommodates this well. There are two pools, one for families and the horizon pool, both wonderful. All the common areas are luxurious but comfortable and inviting. There is a billiards room, library, two common areas that are set up for cozy game time or reading a good book. The rooms are perfection and the views from basically everywhere are beyond words. The staff is courteous, kind and helpful. The entire building is CLEAN and the grounds are kept well and gorgeous. Amazing trip and made just unforgettable by Cassie and David. Two staff members that I will never forget

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Keswick Hall, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Nestled in the serene Blue Ridge Mountains, this luxurious retreat offers everything one could desire for a perfect getaway. The guest rooms are absolutely stunning, with elegant decor and furnishings that exude comfort and sophistication. The large marble walk-in showers were a highlight, providing a spa-like experience right in the room. Surrounded by nature, every aspect of the accommodation is designed to promote relaxation and tranquility. The attention to detail is impeccable, and I was particularly impressed with the Red Flower amenities, which added an extra touch of luxury to my stay.Keswick Hall boasts a world-class spa, where I indulged in a rejuvenating treatment that left me feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. The tennis and golf facilities are top-notch, providing ample opportunities for both leisure and sport. The beautifully maintained golf course, in particular, is a golfer's paradise.Dining at Marigold by Jean-Georges was a culinary delight. The restaurant offers an exquisite menu with dishes that are both innovative and delicious, paired with exceptional service that made the dining experience truly memorable. The service at Keswick Hall is nothing short of five-star. The staff is attentive, courteous, and goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest's needs are met. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home. The location of Keswick Hall is ideal, just a short drive from historic Monticello and the University of Virginia. It's also conveniently located just an hour from Richmond and two hours from Washington, D.C., making it an accessible yet tranquil escape.Overall, Keswick Hall offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and tranquility. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to unwind and indulge in the beautiful setting of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

My husband and I had the pleasure and privilege to take a weekend trip to the Mayhurst Estate. It was absolutely beautiful and it really affected something in our hearts (in large part to Casey who gave us incredible hospitality and even better conversation). We went there just wanting some reprieve from our daily life and left with that and so much more. If you don’t go for the delicious food, stunning scenery, or the kindest people, there’s also goats you can hand feed and one of the friendliest cats I’ve ever snuggled. Could NOT recommend this stay enough!!!

Everything was above and beyond my wildest dreams. For my first time at a bed and breakfast I was enchanted by the scenic, peaceful property and the majestic, sprawling 1800's estate. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. She personalized every interaction to make you feel truly recognized as a guest that wasn't just a paying customer but someone taking part in a communal experience of those that love the rich art and history this stay provides. All I can think about is how soon I could come back and who I could bring with me next time!

Just a phenomenal stay at Mayhurst. The grounds are perfect, our room, the Farmhouse Cottage, was so cozy and quaint. Customer service was so good! Emma was flying around taking care of everything. The breakfasts were perfect. And on top of everything we were right on the doorstep of Shenandoah. We can't wait to come back.

What a lovely place and such kind and caring hosts. My husband said he wanted to compliment me for finally finding a B&B with a comfortable bed. Thanks Casey and Jason for making my big man comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the house was well kept and nice and cool and the goats very friendly. If in the area would definitely stay here again.

My girlfriends and I stayed here in June and it was such a lovely stay. Emma was so gracious about our late checkin and was so helpful with helping us get settled. The goats are so cute and we’re so fun to play with. In the evening we had a gorgeous spread of fruit and cheese and chocolate covered strawberries laid out for us in the upstairs lounge. Breakfast was yummy and fresh.Mayhurst has fantastic customer service. I left my necklace there, and Emma was kind enough to find it and send it to me! Would highly recommend!
