This was firmly a three-star experience. The hotel aspires to be more, but the service did not live up to those aspirations. Clean, modern design and build, but deeply lacking in soul. Sort of like a Hampton Inn dressed up and priced as a boutique destination hotel.

Hello General manager that I never got to talk to about my issuesNo call back , no emailI won't go in detail about everything that was a problem. I'll just start off saying, summit is a beautiful hotel which is why I chose to book here for my oldest daughter bridal shower. Walking into the hotel with a front desk person just sleep, she never noticed me or the bride. Even when I said excuse me. There is no reason why she is sleep and being unprofessional. Phones ringing, other guest needed items but couldn't be provided because the service person is sleep. General manager needs to do something about this, makes everything looks bad. Definitely have pictures as well. Drove 6hrs , to only walk in, just to walk right across the street to Holiday Inn. Hopefully your front desk can catch up on sleep. Definitely not a good look for someone who does reviews for a living. Thank you we need to be accommodate for our troublesPlease get back to me at you earliest convience ThanksCheck in date 08-08--24_ check out date 08-13-24

I had a great experience at this hotel! The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. My room was well-maintained, though it could have used a bit more attention to vacuuming and mopping the floors. The customer service was great. Highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay!

DO NOT STAY HERE. I’d give it 0 stars if I could. I had booked a three-night stay weeks in advance. My flight was delayed, so I checked in late at 2am, and when I did, they told me that the hotel was fully booked and that they had given my room away. They directed me to another hotel which was already sold out and was not remotely helpful or sympathetic about the situation they put me in. I had to find another hotel on my own literally in the middle of the night. This was an awful experience and no way to treat anyone, much less a loyal Bonvoy member for years. If this can happen to me, it can happen to you.

Great location! The staff, particularly Larry & Lawrence were extremely hospitable and even switched our room when we expressed our dissatisfaction with it. Would highly recommend staying here if you visit Cincinnati!

We had a reservation here months in advance. While traveling in on the day of the arrival, they canceled the stay because they had overbooked by 4+ rooms for the night, effectively leaving us on the street. Hotel management showed ZERO remorse or resourcefulness in getting us into another hotel. We scrambled and stayed in an Airbnb which was far nicer, twice the size, in a better area (OTR) and half the cost.

The Kinley is a well-located hotel in the heart of Cincinnati. It is ideally situated for walking to attractions in the Downtown area, Over-The-Rhine and in the Banks. My corner room, 301, was spacious and comfortable. The downside was traffic noise in the room as vehicles paraded and raced outside. If the soundproofing was improved, this would be an ideal hotel. The staff are welcoming and professional, and the lobby bar is gorgeous.

My wife and I recently spent a long weekend at the Kinley in Cincinnati. While the initial presentation of the property was impressive, we encountered several issues during our stay.Firstly, the staff—Front Desk, Valet, and Bar—were professional and friendly. However, it became apparent that the valet and food service/bar were not part of the Kinley or Marriott. Whenever we raised concerns about the valet service, we were directed to speak with the valet team, who were very young but did their best. The inconvenience came from frequent texts demanding full payment and tips for the valet service.Regarding the bar and food service, we were informed that these services were not part of the hotel. We were told that the food was better than what Marriott offers but were then advised to find better late-night options elsewhere. The room we stayed in was quite small and felt cramped for two people. Additionally, the air conditioning unit was noisy and rattled when it turned on.As for the location, the hotel is situated in what is considered "downtown" Cincinnati. We stayed on the 6th floor, and the noise from the street below was significant. It felt like the road next to the building was used as a race track. On the plus side, the hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of downtown attractions like OTR, The Banks, and both stadiums.Parking was another downside. Valet parking cost $40+ per day, and with tips, it became quite expensive. Although there are self-parking garages nearby, we were unable to get reliable information on which ones were safe for overnight parking.Overall, given these experiences, we would choose not to stay at this property if we return to Cincinnati.

R*cist, incompetent staff. The night auditor Dan N. is incompetent and treats guests of color horribly. The manager Galen was drunk and sleeping in the rooms. Multiple cars were broken into. Rooms were disgusting. I stayed 1 night and checked out immediately. My room had dirty curtains, a hole in the wall, and scratches on the bed post. I do not recommend.

The rooms are modern and beautiful. The staff was so personable and it really feels like a small hotel with all the amenities of a large one. We travel a lot and this hotel is at the top of my list. We will definitely stay here again.

The Kinley is a beautiful modern hotel—they definitely paid attention to detail on the design and furnishings. The service is excellence. The lobby, restaurant, and bar space are superb for meeting people and spending time. The location is walkable to everything. We had a great birthday party at the restaurant, and we’ll definitely come back.
