I booked a room through Priceline in October for the Super Bowl parade. I got an email in January saying my card would be processed early and if it didn’t go through my room would be cancelled. I continued getting emails from the hotel and Priceline about my reservation but when I got there to check in, I was told ALL third party reservations were cancelled! What’s the point of booking on a third party site to save money if you’re going to cancel them and upcharge people. Will not ever stay with this chain again!

Beautiful rooms, convenient and cozy. They should have disclosed the cold snap was causing heating issues in the lobby. It was next to my room and caused a chill. The service was wonderful, especially Caroline helping with spa bookings, Andrea the waitress and the valet service. Room service was excellent. I could have used a microwave. The jazz club in the basement was the experience of a lifetime. Everyone needs to try it! Lonnie’s Reno Club. The bartender Josh made me custom nonalcoholic drinks. Their beef Wellington was so tender, and the chocolate mousse was amazing. Lonnie & his trio entertained for two hours with jazz, blues, swing, rock & jokes. The tap dancing, trumpet playing, friendly banter and atmosphere were absolute gold.He invited us upstairs afterward for drinksRoom service was very fast. Security was excellent, the gym was well equipped, and the lobby restaurant has the most delicious steak stew, roasted Brussels, chamomile tea, mixed berry crumble tart, double pork chops & baked Mac n cheese. They have live music Friday & Saturday night right there in the restaurant. Fantastic!

The ambiance of this hotel is amazing. They recently decorated for the holidays and it is superb and looks great! I almost didn't go in as I thought I was walking into another place other than a hotel! If you get a chance come here and enjoy everything that the Ambassador has to offer!

Increasingly, I find myself staying at Autograph Collection hotels whenever I travel. The service, quality, comfort, and cleanliness are all consistently first-rate. The Ambassador Hotel is no different.Importantly, the hotel offers high-quality self-serve coffee in the mornings. I wish more boutique hotels followed suit. Most Autograph Collection hotels do.Very minor quibble: the bar could offer more top-shelf liquor. The gin selection is lacking. Aviation would remedy this absence. The bartender's service brought me back for a second night nonetheless.

I stayed here for a business trip in February of 2023, the front desk staff was amazing and I had nothing but positive interactions with them. The location, while great for my purposes, does seem to get a bit loud due to traffic on Grand at all hours of the night and I was awoken more than once by people on the street with loud cars using the street as their own private raceway. Additionally within one block in any direction of the hotel there was often homeless people staying along the building fronts (not the hotel itself but the buildings around it) which did make for slightly uncomfortable situations when coming and going at night. While I don't blame the hotel for this, it's far outside their control, it is something that should be considered when staying there as those with sensitive or light sleeping patterns could be affected.Rooms were about what you'd expect in a higher end hotel, comfortable bed and overall I'd say a positive experience.

Our sink was broken and the coffee maker was dirty. I paid $512 for a one night stay. It wasn’t worth that much, by a stretch. But the staff was awesome.

Jayson was the front desk clerk and he was awesome. Friendly, conversational and so helpful! The beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. The shower was even phenomenal. Everything was great. My only suggestion would be to have a microwave in the room but there is one in the lobby at least.

The whole place was amazing! They even had a restaurant down stairs next to the lobby. The whole staff and housekeeping were very professional and helpful, especially Rosealla and Orlando. Thank you all again for your help and great job you did.

The rooms were nice but needed to be maintained. Front desk manager Lisa was very aggressive over trivial matters but the rest of the staff was absolutely amazing. Due to Lisa my rating went from 5 stars to 3 stars.

My experience was amazing, everyone I came in contact with was very helpful. We hosted a summit at this hotel and my experience dealing with the sales managers, the receptionists, and the person running the floor the day of the summit were all great and hands-on. The meeting space was bigger than expected and the food was great. I like the location of the hotel, and I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.
