We had a lovely night staying at the Carriage House. Very close to downtown to go for dinner and drinks, but apart enough to keep it quiet and relaxing at night.The hot tub is that plus that makes it magic for a perfect getaway. Beautiful room - we stayed in the Carriage House and loved that it was more private. The rooms were beautiful and the location was great. We could walk downtown and saved ourselves having to find parking.
Very nice get away. If it weren't for the television on the wall, you would think you had gone back to the 1920's luxury villa. It was great!
It was an absolute blessing to stay in such a wonderful building! The sights were lovely, the furnishings were luxurious, the bed was comfortable, the water was hot, and the location was PERFECT! Right next to the historic Stillwater library, this b&b is truly something to behold. It’s just far enough away from the commotion of downtown Stillwater to feel peaceful and calm, yet close enough to shop, eat, and drink! Every little detail was gorgeous, from the historic woodwork, to the jetted tubs, to the seating area downstairs, to the coffee in the morning. It was the perfect place to relax. I can’t recommend this place more!
Very pleasant and clean, lovely Victorian home for our Sisters gathering! We stayed in two rooms and slept well. It is self check in and out which makes it easy and convenient. Rachelle, BnB owner answered my emails and texts very promptly and provided additional info on Stillwater when asked. Also, loved the breakfast and service at the Lowell Inn which is part of your package when you stay at Aurora Staples Inn!
Everything about this place is amazing! It's so fantastic that the rare round barn is so perfectly preserved and still serving new generations as the perfect Minnesota wedding venue to start their new life together. And as a historical home fanatic, I'm obsessed with the gorgeous house and beautiful bed & breakfast rooms! We enjoyed every minute. An absolute gem, and the owner is so supportive and helpful! Highly recommended in every way.

We had the wedding of our dreams at the Round Barn! Every staff member was kind, professional and went above and beyond to make our day special. They made wedding planning easy and they were very organized. The venue itself is stunning and there are so many different areas to enjoy. Our guests continued to compliment the beautiful venue all night! The bed and breakfast is so cozy, historic, and the food was amazing. I could not recommend The Round Barn enough! We held our annual CARE Clinic Donor and Volunteer Appreciation Event at Round Barn Farm in September 2024. What a perfect venue for this type of event! Our donors, volunteers, and staff were all very impressed with the venue! We had the most magical wedding at Round Barn Farm! The venue is absolutely stunning and has everything on-site so we never had to leave. We enjoyed getting married on a Friday with access to the venue beginning Thursday afternoon. We had plenty of time to set up, had a productive rehearsal and enjoyed the groom's dinner on-site. Our families stayed with us in the B&B and my husband and I had the B&B to ourselves for a romantic start to our honeymoon on our wedding night! Our hosts Kirk and Wendy were attentive and made us feel so special on our big day. We highly recommend the venue for a dreamy outdoor wedding!Our only complaint is the requirement to use A'Britin for catering. Unfortunately this forced us into a caterer that we wouldn't have chosen due to very high costs. The $100/plate price tag was far outside our budget and the true cost did not become clear until we were committed to this venue. This caused us unwanted stress during the planning process.
My sister just got married here and it was a wonderful venue! The ceremony, dinner and dance spaces were all picturesque and guests were commenting how beautiful it was nonstop. Not only that, but the owners have a super cute dog and cat that we got to cuddle. We had 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen and they had large enough spaces to accommodate us all when getting ready. I stayed in the Spinning Room of the BnB that night, and it was so cozy and welcoming! I highly recommend Round Barn Farm as a wedding venue and as a lovely romantic getaway for couples. The Round Barn Farm made our day go off without a hitch. They helped make it a perfect and memorable day. Kirk and Wendy were amazing and extremely helpful. Communication was impeccable. We loved that we got to stay on premises after our big day and breakfast the next morning was to die for! They even left a gift for us on the table which was adorable. The venue itself was very clean and set up well. It's a cute and quaint place to stay. We live in Red Wing, but I wouldn't mind going back to the bed and breakfast because it was so much fun.
