Spent the night here. Very impressive for the price. The room was fab, as was the view! We took advantage of the pool and Jacuzzi which were immaculate. We will be back 🙂
Very cold rooms, bathtub locked, bed is extremely uncomfortable and felt like it was 10 years old - complaints at reception have brought no improvement.Location is wonderful and great.
Beautiful hotel . Great location.Various restaurants and activities within a walking distance from the hotel.Beautiful bar and reception area..Clean room. Provides most of the things required during your stay.Only downside, very limited parking spaces. If you are lucky to get one, you are not guaranteed your space if you drive out (even after you've paid for the entire stay/parking). So my advice is, once you've paid for parking for the duration of your stay, don't use your car till you're ready to check out.
The hotel is top notch, the staff is super nice. The rooms are good and clean. There is a nice pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room along with a 24h open gym. The breakfast there is diverse and everything tastes so good. However during the weekends you can hear loud music in your room (from outside) if you sleep with a view.
I recently attended a conference dinner at the Hyatt Regency in Birmingham, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was excellent, with every dish well-prepared and flavorful, making for a memorable dining experience. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly and with a friendly, professional attitude. The venue itself was spotless, reflecting a high standard of cleanliness and organization. Overall, I highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Birmingham for any event or stay – their service and quality truly stand out.
Amazing staff. I only stayed a day for work but oh boy impressed with how professional and polite they all were. The environment and decoration was really good. The rooms were comfortable enough, the mattress and pillows were amazing, the view awesome. The only element that made me feel weird is that they have these big stuck onto the wall shampoo etc rather than small ones for one use. Not all people want to use and touch bottles that others touched especially when it's a bathroom hygiene matter. Yes hotels save money but it's not about this , it's about hygiene and treating clients with care and offering their own comfort . Also I needed some cotton , since I forgot to pack and there was one tiny cotton pad for probably a smurf and not enough for a human . Minimal and economy is food but let's get a balance shall we? The spa was great but the temperature of the water was very cold , and also the jacuzzi felt equally cold definitely not hot enough. The staff was lovely but there was used towels and rubbish there like an apple and small paper glasses thrown around from clients and left for hours without anyone picking them up and tidying . Details could improve but overall I will stay again. Parking is overrated and extremely pricey. At the end of the day parking in a hotel has to be free for clients as it used to be!
I just arrived at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Birmingham and have received the nicest welcome I have ever experienced (and I have visited quite some hotels during my life).Gabi met me with a big smile and as I was very early she arranged for me an early check in without any cost. Additionally, she gave me an amazing room and helped me out as I forgot my UK charger. What an experience! Gabi, you are amazing and thank you so much for already making my stay unforgettable!
Quite a nice Malmaison Hotel, located right next door to the Spaces/Regus Offices 👍and just a 5 minute walk from New Street Station 👍The Hotel has your typical Malmaison trendy decor which is good 😎.Rooms are very spacious, Beds are very comfortable, the decor of the rooms has a bit of a 'BDSM' vibe 😂 (Red and Black Carpet 😲), but is still nice. The Aircon is a bit noisy and you can't open the window 🫤. Whilst the rooms are comfortable and well kitted out, they are starting to show a bit of 'wear and tear' (cracked Plaster/Paint in the Bathroom Ceiling and Varnish scraped off the Furniture) - it is probably due a small refurb??One BIG plus side of the Bedroom is that they have Baths in their Bathroom (as well as a Shower), not a common sight these days as most Hotels rip out their Baths and replace with just Showers, not here 👍😎The Bar is good, and has a nice feeling about it, I didn't try the Breakfast/food so can't comment (other than if you don't have Breakfast included in your Room Rate, it's £19)Overall I found it a good hotel to stay in when visiting Birmingham, the price is pretty reasonable too 👍
Lovely stay in the suite over the weekend, absolutely stunning, the room was spotless, and very spacious. The room service was even better! Location was great right in the mailbox with alot of restaurants and cafes 😁
My first visit to the Malmaison Spa, staff were friendly, helpful and polite. I used the facilities of sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, they all good and place clean overall, a lovely zen atmosphere. My treatment was the Rocks of the Mediterranean, Freya was my therapist she kind, informative and did an amazing full body massage leaving me super relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you
100% the best for breakfast. Made to order super delicious. Great service and all round nice stay. Well located to New St Station and good restaurants.
We are a huge fan of the Malmaison brand, and have stayed in most of their hotels. This was our first time at the Birmingham hotel, and it didn't disappoint. From the welcome we received upon check-in, to the service during dinner, to the incredible dinner and breakfast package, everything was perfect - well, almost! Mal is the first hotel we have stayed in where there was not any bottled water in the room. I am not going to deduct and stars for this, but it was irksome. Thank you for another brilliant Mal visit!
Stayed here for my birthday and the hotel were amazing, I received a birthday message in the room which added to the occasion. The room was amazing and the bed was so comfy had a perfect night sleep. Had breakfast the next morning too, there was plenty of options and the cooked breakfast was delicious.
