The concierge at the front desk, Judith was awesome, caring and hospitable. Finally nice to come across people who care, great old school decor. Italian restaurant service was on point 🤙

My stay here was exceptional for the price per night. I was on a solo trip exploring the city. I felt very safe walking to nearby places downtown. The staff was helpful and friendly to my needs and requests. I had an issue with my room but it was fixed within the hour. The coffee and tea in the morning was an added bonus to my stay. Will return to the Kimpton for my next stay in Denver.

Great service. Brought my pups. Very comfortable here and the staff are awesome, especially Alyssa. Very caring during check-in making sure I was taken care of. Anyone new should definitely spend a day with Alyssa!! I felt very welcomed. Hotel is in a great location too. Next to restaurants, parking, and 16th street mall.

We always spend a night before heading to Winterpark 🎿🏂. Kimpton beds are by far my favorite. I've had the pleasure of staying at 10 different Kimpton locations and this does not disappoint. Close enough to Union Station if your taking the Ski Train. Valet is available but no self park. The downstairs restaurant has a great breakfast and dinner if you don't want to venture far.

it is really the best value and great location. Spacious rooms. Please do not mistake my five star review meaning it is as good as a five star hotel. But it is an excellent four star option in the heart of Denver.

This is my favorite hotel in Denver! My husband and I stayed there when we got engaged after our wedding weekend. The staff are incredible and they welcome our dogs like family.

Amazing location. I was very impressed all around with not only the quality and location but especially with the staff. Everyone was incredibly inviting and helpful. I had the pleasure of checking in at the front desk with Alyssa who was so knowledgeable, bubbly and so inviting! She is one of the main reasons as well as my entire experience will have me coming back to the Monaco every time I visit Denver! Keep it up, crew!

Love this Hotel. A few years ago it had very funky decor with bright color and weird interiors, but redid the style. I tried looking for archive pictures found one. When we were on tour, we always stayed there while in the Denver area.Good location, there's a big mall near by, restaurants and close to other places like Boulder and Red Rocks. They also provide bicycles. The staff seems always nice and helpful, food is good and it's dog friendly. It's considered one of the best hotels in Denver. Not sure about the Kimpton's other hotel locations.

Beautiful building in Denver, has fantastic amenities and even better customer service! They even brought beds and bowls for our dogs, and the staff was all around very generous and kind. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious from the hotel restaurant! Vallet was kind and helped with our bags, before parking our vehicles. All in all an amazing stay and would definitely stay there again! Also there were no pet fees!

It is with great pleasure to write this review. 5 star accommodations starting with my room that had a hallway bigger than my apartment back in NYC! (See pics) Luxurious & chic design all throughout the hotel. Everything was super clean and the morning coffee station was the bomb! Loved the cold brew on tap option, more hotels need to offer this.Staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful during my stay, particularly Alyssa at the front desk who made my experience so much better. She was very polite, friendly, and helped me check in/out with ease. It’s refreshing to see someone who cares about their job these days.I will definitely return soon. A big thank you to Alyssa and the Kimpton Hotel Denver Team!

In October, I stayed at the Limelight Hotel through Amex's FHR program and had a great experience. The room featured a beautiful wood-tone design, offering a spacious and comfortable atmosphere. Despite being located next to the Union Station platform, I was impressed by the excellent soundproofing, which kept the room quiet. The blackout curtains also did a perfect job of blocking out sunlight. The hotel's location made it easy to walk around downtown Denver. With FHR, we enjoyed breakfast for two ($60 value) and a $100 hotel credit, which we used for valet and ordering room service which offered from the AJAX restaurant. The food is great but a little bit salty for me. But it's ok for my husband. Additionally, the hotel offers complimentary bike rentals to explore the city and free entry to the museum of contemporary art Denver. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.This time I used Amex's FHR to stay at the Limelight hotel. I really like the wood-tone design of the hotel room, which is spacious and comfortable. Although it is next to the Union station platform, I was worried that it would be noisy, but the sound insulation is very good, and the blackout curtains completely block the sun. You can walk directly on the streets of Denver. FHR comes with breakfast for 2 people ($60), $100 hotel credit that can be used for projects such as Valet, room service, AJAX restaurant, etc. You can also rent bicycles for free to explore the city and visit art galleries for free. Overall highly recommended.

I will never stay anywhere else if I'm in downtown Denver. We've stayed at the Limelight downtown Denver location twice now. Clean and updated rooms, nice amenities, good location, friendly staff. You will likely not find a nicer hotel that is so pet friendly either. Thanks!

Super conveniently located near Union Station, we flew into Denver, took the rail to Lower Downtown (LoDo) and theLimelight hotel was just steps away. Clean and well appointed rooms. Service in every department was prompt, professional, but more importantly, FUN! Everyone seemed to enjoy what they do!

Limelight hotel is my new favorite in Denver! The beds are extremely comfortable. The vibe is awesome. The service is impeccable. There are many thoughtful touches throughout the hotel that make it feel cozy and modern. We live in the mountains and are always looking for good places to stay when we come down to the city and the limelight is definitely at the top of our list if it’s available! Highly recommend

I recently stayed at the Limelight Hotel in downtown Denver for a business trip, and it was an absolute pleasure. This hotel is truly a hidden gem in the heart of the city.From the moment I arrived, the service was fantastic. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Every interaction was marked by professionalism and friendliness, making me feel right at home.The room was up-to-date and extremely clean, providing a perfect blend of modern amenities and cozy comfort. It was clear that attention to detail is a priority at the Limelight Hotel, as everything was meticulously maintained.My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer to fully enjoy all the amenities and explore more of what the hotel has to offer. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in Denver, both for business and personal trips.If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay in downtown Denver, I highly recommend the Limelight Hotel. My wife and I just spent 4 nights at the Limelight, and it was a wonderful experience. The facilities were very exceptionally clean, modern and functional. The room was very comfortable and inviting. We both worked from our room and the lobby and even took advantage of the Hotel’s offer of passes to the nearby Thrive Workplace. The staff in the bar and restaurant were very attentive and professional and the front desk personnel were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate all of our needs. The location is so fun, being next to Union Station, near the Dairy Block and just a short walk to Coors Field and many great restaurants. We highly recommend the Limelight. It’s such a great place from which to enjoy all of Denver.

First the good: The Limelight hotel is beautiful, the staff is all very helpful, attentive and kind! The location is great. The rooms are also beautiful, the tv was easy to use and the shower was amazing! It was very clean and we appreciated the complimentary waters in our room.The bad: We only had one issue but because of what it was it impacted the stay overall. The bed was SO uncomfortable. The mattress felt cheap. It was super firm but not a good firm, it was a springy/bouncy hard if that makes sense. Then the pillows were so thin my husband and I both woke up with sore necks. They did have real linens though, which I really appreciated.Overall the stay was good. If the beds were higher quality, I'd definitely come back.

10/10 recommend. Our first time staying here and I’d certainly return. The location was spot on with walking distance to everything, and it was in a quieter place without lots of foot traffic despite the close proximity to Union Station. The staff was super friendly and made check in / check out quick and seamless. The rooms were very clean, updated, and had all you would need with the appliances to a full bar and snacks. The noise from other rooms and outside were non-existent and that was impressive. The little details throughout the hotel were nice to see and really made the entire stay comfortable. The hotel is pet friendly, but expect to walk down the street to find some grass. Overall, I wish I stayed longer to check out the fitness center and the restaurant that we got a $10 voucher for but did not use.

I always enjoy staying at the Limelight Hotel, and one of the highlights is definitely the candy bar! However, during my last visit, there was a significant issue that marred the experience – the sheets not fitting the mattress properly. This was quite disappointing and affected my overall comfort. Nevertheless, the hotel's location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. The friendly staff and overall atmosphere ensured that my stay was memorable, but I do hope they address the bedding issue for future guests.

Staff is chipper and helpful. Service is great. Excellent restaurant with a bar (shout-out to the bartender). Rooms are clean. Upscale self-service espresso machine available in the lobby. Interior design is neat with wooden accents. Cozy and welcoming all around. Walking distance from coffee shops, ice cream parlors, shopping, and train station.

Wonderful location!! Can not beat the Union Station location, can get anywhere via light rail or train (even bus). We walked a good deal after dinner, back to hotel after the hotel car dropped us off for dinner. Rooms were nice, we were upgraded to a suite thanks to a clients generosity. Hotel restaurant is good for breakfast and bar good for a cocktail. Though thought the cocktails were served in a smaller than usual glass. WE will return.
