We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Streamside. Our unit had a full kitchen, dual vanities in the bathroom, living room with fire place, and a wrap around deck with a Weber gas grill. The view out our front window was beautiful. The only thing our unit didn’t have was air conditioning, but we never needed it. In July the temps never got out of the 70s during the day and dipped into the 50s at night. The location was perfect, less than 5 minutes from downtown Estes and the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Streamside.
We loved this place. Staff was super friendly and the cabin we stayed in was very clean. It was located right on the river. The thing I loved was it’s off of the road so it’s very peaceful. There’s chairs to sit in by the river. We really enjoyed it here.
Wonderful place! Beautiful setting, the friendliest service, comfortable bed, updated bathroom and kitchen, great stay all around. The owner/manager was so nice. Highly recommend!
I stayed in a one BR cabin with a private hot tub for 5 nights at the end of Jun, and loved it. No, the decor is not brand spanking new, but everything was spotless and very comfortable. I loved being able to sit by the river, and hear the water at night. And I enjoyed the hot tub every day after spending the day hiking - it was also spotlessly clean and a perfect temperature. The location was great - close to town but not in the middle of the frenzy, and easy access to the Fall River entrance to the park. I couldn't find the hair dryer when I checked in, and the office gave me a brand new one when I went to check on that. The kitchen has place settings for 4 people, with basic pots, pans and utensils so I was able to eat most of my meals in the cabin. I would definitely stay here again!
We recently staying in one of the 2 bedroom with hot tub cabins. The cabin was very clean and the hot tub was always hot. The grounds were maintained well and very quiet. The river and Mountain View’s from the hot tub were a highlight. The staff was very friendly and available when we had questions. They even gave us visitor guides which a hotel down the street didn’t provide. The kitchen was stocked and the grill worked making food prep very easy for my family. This is our new hotel of choice in Estas Park.
Very cute cozy cabins. Highly recommend renting one by the creek. Lots of green. Peaceful and quiet. Some cabins have their own hot tubs. Fireplace is a super nice amenity. The only thing I would change is the linen/blankets to have a more cotton or softer texture.
The cabins were well cared for, very clean, but could use a few small updates. Interior paint could use a fresh coat, carpet was a bit old and dated, there were 4 different thermostats in a 2bd cabin (strange), maybe some new light covers and outlet covers (they were turning yellow). However, the place was VERY clean, comfortable, the staff obviously cared, wonderful location, and some things were updated so perhaps the property is doing what they can at a time (which is absolutely fine!).Given the opportunity, I'd likely stay here again. I'd suggest it to others, I probably wouldn't stay a week, I personally like a slightly more updated place (personal preference and price range), but 1-3 days/nights, absolutely. It has everything you need, and as I stated above, it is clean with a great staff.By no means is this a negative review, we enjoyed out stay and everyone we interacted with was very friendly. It seemed the property may have been slowly updating things so be alert my review may not reflect currently property conditions after some time. I'd recommend contacting the property for updated photos/viewing them here, and addressing any concerns.
After finding Streamside online while looking for places to stay in/around Estes, we discovered they had an off season deal to stay two nights, get the third night free - and boy are we glad we did.First off: LocationSandwiched perfectly between Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, you are literally no more than 5 minutes from anywhere you want to get to. Despite being just a few hundred feet off the highway, we found it to be incredibly quiet the vast majority of the time.Service: When we arrived and checked in, we were greeted warmly by the receptionist. We went to our room and were surprised to see that it was not the room we had expected. I inquired as to why the website showed one thing, which was not what we got. Well, that was MY mistake - I didn't notice a subtle but significant difference in the room titles. I was willing to accept my mistake, but the staff called me a minute later and let me know that the room I had wanted was empty, and that they would comp the price difference and switch our rooms. This was entirely unexpected and greatly appreciated. Granted, this is not likely to be an option during the tourist season, but it did demonstrate the staff's desire and willingness to make guests happy.Because of how we were treated, we will be returning, and be recommending the location to family and friends.
We did a family reunion at Riverbend with ~25 people across 6 different cabins and a trailer. Everyone we met from staff to folks staying was very friendly and nice. The club house breakfasts, ice cream social and night time game events were fun and enjoyable. The view of the river from the cabins on the ridge was fantastic. We found fun things to keep us busy each day in the area from Creede to Pagosa Springs and we're worn out by the end of the week. Cabins were rustic but homey, not perfect but had everything we needed and easy to feel at home. Dawson has a beautiful back deck patio that was perfect for folks to hang out and talk or play cards. One of the families who stayed in a trailer on the river had some problems with the lavatory and getting the refrigerator to work but this was all fixed promptly by the staff. I would recommend Riverbend Resort to anyone who wants to enjoy the outdoors in a perfect location to see and do a number of activities.
The Riverbend was perfect for our family reunion, cabins are roomy, clean, and well stocked. It's right on the Rio Grande and the night time view of the stars is not to be missed. Everyone is super friendly and helpful!!!
This is the top RV resort that I have visited in five years of traveling. The staff and owners went out of their way to make you feel like family. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a beautiful location and or family vacation. Bring your own RV, rent one of theirs, or stay in one of their cabins.
This place is awesome! We had a great stay and will definitely be back. I had rented an RV space but we were just truck camping. Later on I asked if we could move to the tent site and they were happy to let us. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.
We really enjoyed our stay here, everyone was very friendly. Always something going on. Jack, the campground cat was so friendly, kept stealing my husband's chair. He came by every day for a visit ?. Cell service was good. Wifi spotty at best. The pull thru sites were the biggest down fall, very, very tight! If you do the buddy set up it gives you a bit more room. View of river and walk were really nice.
Don’t expect to be staying at the Ritz, but this charming little cabin hotel is awesome. The view is to die for, the accommodations are adequate. If you’re staying here, it’s probably for what’s outside and not staying inside. The rooms are clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. WiFi is poor but usable for calls/email. Brings me back to simpler time in the 90s.
After a day of skiing at Wolf Creek, the hotel we had originally booked informed us that their hot tubs were broken! We did a search for nearby accomodations, and fortunately came across Riverbend Resort. They were super friendly on the phone, and had the Rainbow Cabin available. It was exactly the kind of place we enjoy - rustic, but cozy and welcoming. They have bird feeders set up, so it was fun to watch all the different birds coming to visit. They have a bird feeder set up on the porch of the cabin and provide bird seed so you cann feed them yourself if you want. The cabin even has an indoor fireplace! The hot tub was right around the corner so we could soak our sore selves, then ten steps took us inside for an evening by the fire. In the morning, the view of the river, with the birds enjoying their breakfast, was a absolute treat to wake up to. This will be our new South Fork go-to place to stay!
Our absolute favorite place to stay for Wolf Creek snowboarding. The places are cozy, older but not in a bad way, and nicely equipped. We absolutely love every stay for how quiet the place is, the GORGEOUS stream out back that just makes you feel so relaxed.
