Requested specific room when booking didn’t get what I booked. Drawers and cabinets need work. $350+ / night and still cheap rough toilet paper, limited TV channels, surprise parking fee, non stocked coffee tray. Over yes clean, quiet and nice hotel, but for $150 a holiday inn is just as nice.

One of the better three-night stays I’ve had while travelling for work. Might have to come back later this summer for a vacation! Very close to a lot of the big attractions in the area, and while it was a bit far from my meetings downtown it was nothing a rental car couldn’t handle. Service was amicable and the staff were courteous. Pleasantly surprised at how spacious the accommodations were.

This is a tired, aging hotel that's been evidently been neglected for years by its owners. The room itself is poorly planned. The lighting in the bathroom is terrible and in the executive king in which I stayed, the fan was encrusted with dirt and didn’t work. Nor did the AC in my room that was cold for a bit but then blew warm air all night on a warm June night. However, friends who also stayed there said their rooms were so cold they had to turn the AC off. There isn’t a proper drawer and the main 'night table' was sofa level. The pillows are chipped foam, the bed linens thin and worn. When I complained that the ice maker hasn't working, the 1st excuse was that it's a hot day and #2 it's really old. Despite being in a grassy locale, there was no outside seating unless you sat in the restaurant patio, forcing you to order something just to sit in the sun and/or read a book. Location may be desirable for families, but it's a 20 minute walk to a convenience store. Hotel staff was good and clearly frustrated by having to make excuses for substandard amenities. Caveat emptor - this is barely a 3* hotel.

Had 3 nights booked at the end of May. On Sat evening we discovered that our room was BROKEN INTO !!! Laptop, chargers and all electronic devices were taken!!! ZERO help from the hotel. They never once reached out to me.. I had to call 3x!!!!! Before I could talk to anyone ... We checked out a day early as we did not feel safe ( 2 woman travelling together) and ZERO help from the front desk or management .. After I called 3x on Sunday the first time I was able to talk to anyone was at 5:30 Sunday evening. It was on Tuesday that I was finally offered compensation for the rooms ( after I had to ask for it) I told them the fact no one acted on their end was very very disappointing. What kind of customer service do you have when the victim of a break in has to reach out 3x before hearing anything. We made a Police report on our own. After everything was said and done the hotel did the right thing, but I can't believe I had to fight so hard to get it.....

Spent 3 nights in I guess what they call the executive suit. Looked nice at first but the rainfall shower head was broken and shot water Into the ceiling in and in vent. There was a half eaten chocolate bar in my room. Told one worker the ac vent was leaking outside of my room causing water all over the floor, ended up having to talk to multiple people before a bucket was put down to catch all the water. It's a nice place but too expensive for what they offer

Went for a wedding didn't get a room at check in time so we were late for the wedding. Food was good late lunch not so much. We had open bar everyone tipped the bartenders well and when last call came around the lady told the bartenders to only give half a ounce to the guest and then when we went to last dance they took our drinks off the table and rushed us out.

the fort garry hotel was awesome. maybe you’re like me. maybe you search for hotels with a single filter on…. pool. and maybe this has eliminated the fort garry from your search options. yet, you keep returning to the fort garry reviews, because let’s face it, maybe you’re considering the delta hotel for the pool, but it’s just a bit too pricy. AND you just can’t overlook the charm of the fort garry. well, i’ll let you in on a little secret. the fort garry hotel is connected by skyway to the assiniboine gym, located in the neighboring apartment building. and for $10 you can purchase a day pass to use their facilities, which include a pool and hot tub. perfect!the history and charm of the garry is unmatched, the kind of hotel i longed for as a child, which offers its asymmetry to be explored and adored.other notes--it’s very close (10 minute walk) to the forks, which offers plentiful dining options, a rink to ice skate and skate rentals, shops, etc.-you can purchase parking for $22 a night. you have the option of two lots, one is heated and enclosed which is nice on the frigid winter nights….

It’s a historical marvel! Large size stately rooms with 10 foot ceilings and chandeliers and double heavy curtains for those preferring to sleep with no light. Our corner room 128 consisted of two rooms, one with king size bed, a desk and a lovely sofa, plus a full living room and dining room, lovely white bathroom, with new soft towels, pillows and warm blanket selection, temperature control, It was not only comfortable but it was a treat to stay here. It’s a historic building with many statues and portraits. We had a lovely view from both sides as 128 is a corner suite. There is a restaurant. On weekends they also serve branch. It’s a lovely experience to have stayed here.

This was such a great experience - highly recommend! Everything about this was top notch. Beautiful venue, amazing artists… my only feedback suggestion is to get better chairs since our butts were pretty sore about 20mins in. But I’d happily sacrifice again to go!

This place is amazing! The lobby is gorgeous equipped with a automatic revolving glass door, beautiful hotel with an old historic feel. It's like you stepped back into the early 1900s.The Oval restaurant was delicious, we ordered the sea food tower and a bottle of wine, a bit pricey but it hit the spot. Room was very clean with feathered pillows and down comforter. Rooms had pump soaps, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner in the room making it worry free on what you forgot to pack. Centrally located and within easy walking distance from Union Station, or The Forks Market. All in all, 5-stars! Would love to go back

Winnipeg’s chilly winters make it a perfect time to cozy up with your partner in a warm jacuzzi. Snow-covered streets and the festive atmosphere, especially around the holiday season, add to the romantic ambiance. Additionally, winter rates can sometimes offer more value due to seasonal promotions. However, if you prefer exploring the city’s outdoor attractions by day and relaxing in your jacuzzi by night, consider booking between May and September when the weather is warmer and days are longer. Always check the hotel’s availability and any seasonal packages they might offer.
