Verified Reviews of Hotels with Jacuzzi in Room in Cincinnati
I have never stayed here, but both the restaurant and the bar upstairs are lovely. The staff is always very friendly and helped my family and I take our Christmas photo in front of their Tree.
I was just passing thru Cincinnati so I didn't give my search for a nice hotel it's due diligence. I chose the Lytle Park Hotel because of its high Google rating and it's high price — any hotel in Ohio that charges $600 for a king room must be decent. Unfortunately the Lytle Park is a soulless corporate Marriott masquerading a high end hotel. The restaurant is terrible as well. You could do better getting dinner from the frozen food section at the Kroger. You have to join their Marriot Bonway program in order to not get charged for your internet there. Machine made latte in the morning? No thanks, next time I'm in the "Paris of the rustbelt" I'll go elsewhere.
Paying great attention to detail in cleaning, every corner is clean, which shows that the management system works and makes guests feel at ease. Reasonable valet parking makes using the car very convenient. The service staff are warm and kind and love small animals. Pets can truly feel pampered here. The location is quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle, just a short walk to downtown, but when you get back to the hotel, it's very quiet. Staying here is the best location to experience Cincinnati.
Large bathrooms, bright comfortable rooms, the best front desk staff we’ve ever had anywhere, knowledgeable restaurant staff with helpful recommendations. Only flaw was the highway outside our window, but no vehicle noise was detected inside the room. We will be back! Thanks for making our first stay a five-star experience!
This hotel has gone completely down hill. It used to be my favorite hotel in Cincinnati, and somewhere I’d recommend to friends, family, and business colleagues. I’ve stayed here several times over the past 5 years. This last stay was extremely disappointing. New trainees at the front desk who don’t know how to handle loyal guests (I’m an Ambassador with Marriott Bonvoy) and don’t know how to problem solve. Slow and disorganized valet. And worst of all, dirty rooms and awful housekeeping. Both the rooms (suites) they put me in had bugs, stains, and filthy carpets. This is supposed to be a luxury hotel. Standard rooms are $600/night! Not sure if it’s new management or a new philosophy, but it’s so sad to see a once great property fall off so badly.
My husband and I stay in hotels every other week for his job. I never really think about leaving reviews but this hotel and the staff are so great that I knew I needed to. The nicest staff I have met. They have gone above and beyond to make us feel at home. The rooms are also very nice and spacious. The bed is so comfortable, and we all know how much that matters. The housekeeping leaves lots of fresh towels and washcloths every day. Out of the over 30 hotels we’ve stayed at so far this year, this is definitely my favorite.
Absolutely top-notch property. Both the interior and exterior of The Lytle Park Hotel are breathtakingly beautiful. This is a property that is abundant with "the little details" that make your stay truly special. The service is 5-star. Easily as attentive, detailed, friendly, and professional as what I've seen at 5 star luxury properties in major hospitality markets. The restaurant is excellent. The location is fantastic - just steps away from multiple great parks, Great American Ballpark, Fountain Square and more. Our room was beautiful and very well appointed. It doesn't get too crowded, even with weddings on site. The Lytle Park Hotel is an absolute gem.
For our 1-year anniversary, my wife and I decided to splurge on what was supposed to be a luxurious experience at this highly-rated hotel. Unfortunately, it turned out to be anything but. From the moment we arrived, the valet staff repeatedly asked us in a condescending tone if we were just staying for dinner. It felt like they were implying we couldn't afford to stay at the hotel, only to dine there. This happened multiple times and was very insulting. Despite our arrival, we were never asked if we were there to check in.Hoping things would improve, we headed to the rooftop bar. We waited for 20 minutes after being seated for the waitress without being greeted. When I finally ordered a drink, it was wrong twice. I asked for a whiskey sour and first received a Moscow mule in a copper mug, then just a whiskey and soda. Each time, it took another 15-20 minutes to get the incorrect drink. Frustrated, my wife and I decided to leave.Normally, I can overlook the ignorance of a few employees and some slow, inaccurate service. However, this experience, especially on our first wedding anniversary, was incredibly disappointing. We chose this hotel expecting a memorable and luxurious stay, but it ended up being a regrettable experience. If this is how they treat their guests, I can't imagine coming back or recommending this place to anyone.
One of the best hotels I've ever been in the suites are very nice I had the rainwater room which had a soaker tub and a walk in shower has a tablet in room a fridge with a insta cool button the bed was awesome I played music all night no one complained. But this is not for a cheap person or if your budgeting this is when u wanna splurge and look good if u wanna take a female somewhere.
Absolutely the most beautiful hotel in Cincinnati! The hospitality is incredible and the communication is a 10/10 between staff and customers. I definitely recommend if you're looking to wow someone!
My husband and I live in Mt Adams right above the Lytle hotel. During the arctic blast of 2022-23 our pipes froze and we ended up spending 5 days at the Hotel over Christmas. My kids came for Christmas in our hotel room…not ideal but the hotel was so great in offering us spaces to use. They even had a pipe break and made all the guests comfortable. Fast forward to arctic blast 2024 and sure enough our pipes froze again (we thought we had this fixed last year but it is now done!) we had dinner at the bar waiting for them to unfreeze and finally realized we had to stay a night…I was so incredibly sad. The hotel staff was amazing and even gave us an upgrade to a suite which was so thoughtful! I cannot recommend this hotel, the staff and the overall stay enough!
We stayed here for a few days around the holidays while visiting family. We brought our puppy along for her first trip. The hotel staff was more than accommodating and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. There seemed to be a lot of options in the hotel for dining and nightlife. We had a great experience and will be returning.
We stopped at this beautiful historic hotel on our way back home during a long road trip. I can't say enough good things about the place, the staff -- everyone went above and beyond to ensure we were treated like royalty, even our beloved dog, Jax. The Lytle Park Hotel and each member of the staff we encountered was professionalism personified. We look forward to going back once Lytle Park is completed.
My family had a fantastic trip here and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Service was phenomenal and super friendly. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Valet service was impeccable. Food top-notch. Lovely views from the patios and a great location overall. Thank you for hosting us!!
I found this gem of a hotel during the pandemic in June 2020 and have been staying here ever since. There is no turning back. Not a single hotel in Cincinnati can live up to what this hotel has to offer. The staff Maggie, Dee, Jeff, Theresa, Ben, Angela (hostess), have A+ game on their customer service skills. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff are very accommodating when additional items are needed. The front desk and valet staff are all very helpful and nice as well. Great location in a quiet part of downtown as compared to other hotels. I absolutely love this place and look forward to my next stay. Thank you all.
Was a very convenient location for where I needed to be. Room was very clean and well kept as were the common areas. Some rooms have jacuzzi tubs which is a nice touch. I didn't try the pool so I can't speak for that. Plenty of free parking and breakfast is included. Front desk staff were friendly and very accommodating.
I had a terrible experience at this hotel, unfortunately. I’ve stayed at this hotel before and was pleased, but won’t be back! Someone in a nearby room was smoking weed all night long and the smell was disgusting in our room. I called the front desk and they told me they would find out who but it never stopped! I choked on the smell all night long. I should have called the police. Slept maybe three hours! When I complained at checkout I was told I could wait for a manager who would be available in a few minutes. No thanks! I was exhausted and just wanted to leave….
Super clean!!! Really nice hot breakfast & the lady running the breakfast is awesome! Front desk guys at night told us it was continental but to my surprise it was hot breakfast, not continental. They should know the difference but either way we were very happy with our experience from check-in to check-out.
Very surprised by this hotel. Affordable and clean. The breakfast was as expected, but that's just a bonus. Staff was super friendly as well. Only small issue I had was that I booked and payed online months ago, but when I got to the hotel, they asked me for payment as well. A simple mistake by the friendly staff member, but make sure you double check if you paid when you made your reservation so you don't get double charged.
This was the cheapest hotel in the area so we certainly didn't expect the best but we were pleasantly surprised!! Front desk service was helpful and kind, room was clean upon my inspection, beds were comfy, nice spacious bathroom with a hot shower. Breakfast offered was pretty decent with different options each day. I was even given the option of what floor I wanted which I've never had done before at a hotel. We could see our vehicle at all times from the window which is comforting. The only complaint I could possibly think of, is the indoor pool really wasn't warm enough to swim comfortably in. This hotel is Within walking distance of a movie theater, a few good restaurants (including Mellow Mushroom which we were thrilled about since the one in our hometown shut down!) I will definitely come stay here if I ever need to visit this area again.
