Let Davenport and its neighboring areas enchant you from the comfort of a hotel with a hot tub in the room, where every stay is a rejuvenating journey.
QUALITY INN & SUITES:I spent this week with Mike Jhala and his staff at this hotel. I was in town for training and we had some snow come through. Mr. Jhala made sure that my car was cleaned off from the snow every morning. The breakfast was top notch every morning. The rooms were spotless! Anything I needed they didn't hesitate to help. Very knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend making this the place you stay when you are in Davenport, Iowa. I'm beyond thrilled with my stay and the readiness of the staff to go above and beyond for me. Thank you Mike!
Great stay here, and will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area. Mike, the owner, was friendly and personable. He clearly cared about each guest being comfortable and happy with their stay.Hotel was clean and very well maintained. No funky odors. Outside area felt safe and was clean and well maintained. Hot breakfast, including an egg, sausage, & cheese casserole, waffle maker, and biscuits & gravy, was ample. A friendly but unobtrusive attendant kept the area well-stocked and clean.I was traveling through doing a rescue dog transport. I greatly appreciate that dogs were permitted in this hotel. There was ample green space to walk my dogs, and the area was quiet. No heavy traffic to frighten the dogs. Will definitely stay here again when I'm passing through the area.
This was the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in. All the staff treated us like family. There was a big soccer tournament in town. The owner told us he would go try to find us a room far away from all of the commotion. Which he did. We had a nice quiet stay in a very clean, comfortable room. The food was phenomenal. Never had such great food at a hotel.
Great value! Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Older property but clearly a lot of work has been done inside and out to make it clean and nice. Free hot breakfast was surprisingly good for such a reasonable room rate.
Came down from Hartford Iowa to see family Then off to Savana. This place was an amazing experience. Mike at the front desk was super nice and most helpful. Bob on the overnight was just as friendly. Tucked back off the road made for a beautiful sunrise over the trees. Breakfast was amazing as well as the lady at the front desk (sorry didn't catch your name) I will be back in the area often and will be staying nowhere else! Rooms are clean and smell great. Very Peaceful. And I feel safe leaving my motorcycle in the parking lot.
Don’t waste your money on this dump. Heating issues, lack of towels and toilet trees, horrible food and management. For a Marriott Hotel, you should be in way better condition. Certain staff were nice like at the bar and front desk. But jeez, good luck getting a hold of whoever is in charge of dealing with the rooms. You’re better of going somewhere else. Don’t waste your money.
I stayed here while traveling with my dog and absolutely loved it--what a find! The hotel was decorated for Christmas and it was magnificent. Easy to park in the lot (paid) next to the hotel and very dog friendly (treats from the valet!). I loved walking out the front door and having the river walk so close by. The bar was lovely and offered upscale food (BlackHawk salad was perfect!). Numerous restaurants within a block. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. This place has a great buzz...nice to stay in a place that locals love too!
An absolutely beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown Davenport. The rooms are quite large with spacious bathrooms that include walk in showers and Jacuzzi tubs. The toiletries are top notch and the windows in the rooms open if you want fresh air. The bed was comfortable and the rooms are quiet. The only minuses are for such a nice hotel, they have plastic disposable cups for the room and paper coffee cups. My evening cocktail and morning coffee didn't taste as good out of disposable vessels. And while I arrived late, I had to call several times and ring the doorbell multiple times to get someone to open the entrance for me so I could check in and the night manager was not very happy to greet me, he didn't even offer me water or welcome me to the hotel. I would stay here again but hope I arrived early enough that I had the staff that was friendly and very accommodating.
First, the good, upon arrival, Cassidy upgraded us to a King Deluxe since our daughter, was hosting several guests for her wedding weekend. The good, the hotel is a delightful building and we might come to visit again. Second, the banana rum drink on Friday evening was a nice touch. Now the bad, we asked for a room cleaning on Friday- no one showed up, same on Saturday, and finally someone showed up while we were attending the wedding of our daughter. The ugly, our room reservations was cancelled on Friday and we had to re-book our room for the next two nights and get new pass cards. As a business owner, I understand having qualified and adequate staff is an issue. However, been a Marriott user in the past, it seems like things are slipping.
This was far from a "luxury" experience and the hotel is need of some minor upgrades before it will ever come close to being a luxury experience. So many misses... AC does not work in the rooms, the thermostat will say 65 but the actual room temperature is 75+. I waited over an hour for the temp to cool down just to be moved to another room with the same problem. So for the entirety of my stay I slept in a hot room. Hair in the shower & on the floor in the bathroom. Rust on the shower heads. I couldn't open the windows to let some cool air in as there were large spiders in cobwebs outside of the window. The building clearly needs to be pressure washed. Only one elevator worked during my stay and the elevator buttons are tricky. Majority of the time it has to go to each floor that's already highlighted before you are able to swipe your key card & select your floor. Food at Bix Bistro was decent maybe 7/10 but service was a miss. Overall my stay was less than memorable and the hotel needs some significant improvement of its property before I would ever consider coming back.
