Nice clean , big well lit rooms. Quite nights rest. All the amenities of home plus. Free full item breakfast a real bonus with surprisingly good coffee.
Not far from the border, shopping and restaurants.Kind, helpful and welcoming staff. Clean rooms, we were very happy with our stay here. Would highly recommend!!Huge bonus !! The breakfast was very nice, hot food and good selection.
Saturday I went in and was able to get two rooms. Amanda the girl at the Desk was so kind. I explained my situation where I needed two rooms for my son and I because I was without power, my basement has backed up, and I had no hot water. She got me in and the rooms were so clean and the staff was really nice. Remember tip your housekeepers.
The hotel was generally nice and clean and well maintained! The suite we stayed in was not bad but it was very small for the price we paid. I did go up to the front desk at about 9:50 pm because the room above us was jumping around. She advised quiet time was at 10 pm so she could not do anything about them JUMPING OVER AND OVER AGAIN until 10 pm and she would say something.l then. The front desk lady was rude with me every time from check in to me asking her to say something to the room above us because my kids were trying to sleep so I didn’t not want to say anything about the hot tub. The hot tub legitimately made my son puke and my eyes burn as soon as you get in it! DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN GO IN THE HOT TUB! My son went in and immediately came back out because the fumes made him cough so bad he couldn’t breath we had to open the doors and me and my son sit OUTSIDE while he is coughing and puking bc he couldn’t catch his breath. My other kids were coughing as well and couldn’t breathe they had to sit and drink water! My eyes still burn and I’ve been out of that hot tub since last night at 10 pm. The hotel is nice in general but would NOT recommend the pool or hot tub. First shift staff was nice but second shift staff was horrible! I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you have to especially if you are staying there for the pool and hot tub!
We utilized this location for our wedding room block a few weeks ago, and our guests seemed pretty happy with it! The rooms were pretty clean from what we were told.Although, from our perspective, the booking experience wasn’t the greatest. We played a lot of phone tag with the primary contact, Vicki, and had to follow-up via email multiple times for a response.I would say this location may be great to stay at if you’re simply passing through, but I would maybe recommend choosing another location to book a room block if that type of service is needed.
I rented a jacuzzi suite for two nights. There was an issue on their end in with processing the payment and they ended up telling me I either HAD TO PAY TWICE OR GET OUT. The woman at the desk was horrifically rude to me and I didn’t have another $560 to pay for the room AGAIN. we were in town for my husbands mothers funeral and I had to rushingly pack up my grieving husband and one year old son. The awful woman said I would get my money back but so far nothing!!! This hotel stole my money and threw me and my family out!! I have never been so humiliated and upset in my life. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!! I will be telling everyone I know about this and calling corporate. I literally feel scarred from this experience. SHAME ON THESE PEOPLE
Whatever you do DO NOT SWIM IN THIS POOL OR HOT TUB. I am currently covered in a rash that my doctor informed me can only be from a hot tub- I was in the Holiday Inn hot tub 2 days ago. It was disgusting and after jumping in a realized I made a mistake jumped out and showered but it was too late. Don’t go here.
First time staying here and we will be back. It was 0 degrees with high winds, but warm inside. Great breakfast buffet every morning(pancakes, eggs, bacon/sausage, biscuits and gravy plus etc) Coffee 24/7 and a steady supply of chocolate chip cookies. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. Nice exercise room(I actually used it). Slept great on the queen beds. Blackout shades were a nice surprise. It wasn't very full, so it was mostly very quiet. Plenty of places to eat close by too.
Whoever renovated this hotel did a great job. We stayed in a room (not the suite) with a whirlpool, where the tub was inside of the room itself. The water got hot, the settings for the whirlpool worked, the timer was manual but did the job. There were towels next to the tub, and towels in the shower so you didn't need to carry any towels over. The water was hot! So no need to go downstairs to the pool area and filling the tub did not cause dampness in the room (it was a winter visit so I can't speak to other seasons). The lotions/soaps/conditioners were refillable , removing the plastic waste problem; they were either Dove or JR Watkins branded. The pillows were amazingggg. Of course you can hear people in the hallways if they're making noise or the tub when the whirlpool is on upstairs but that's because the whirlpool is not quiet in any way. The blackout shades did a great job and allowed us to sleep in. Breakfast as usual was what you expect with a holiday inn. Overall I was extremely pleased with my stay here!
The most disgusting hotel I have ever been to. The room smelled of urine and feces, there were black handprints on the bathroom wall and all soap dispensers. Floors were filthy, carpet was sticky and there were visible fleas. I didn’t even make it to the beds. To make matters worse, they charged my account $283 which was not the rate, then charged $489 THREE TIMES after I left. I have disputed the charges, but that is fraud. I will be calling the health department tomorrow. Thank goodness there was another hotel with an available room close by. It was nicer, clean, and less expensive. When I called the hotel for the remainder of the credit for the ridiculous charges, Melissa, who said she was the manager, told me I was charged $183.84 for a “no show” fee even though I was there, room was uninhabitable, and no other rooms were available. Told me “too bad” when I said that was completely unfair. See attached for bill for walking into room for 2 minutes.
DO NOT STAY HERE!I booked a room block for our wedding here and it was terrible. People guy better rated by just calling on their own. Many people decided to stay at other hotels (also do not recommend homewood suites right across the way, tan by the same people). We were told they ran a shuttle and would be available for our guests to get back and forth for the reception. The day before we checked in and asked to confirm how late the shuttle ran and they said it would be $450 to run the shuttle. Wendy wouldn’t answer the phone, Melissa wasn’t helpful and the manager on that day (don’t remember her name) started to chuckle when I was trying to explain what was verbally told to us. Wow. So rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. When we did get in our room the mirror had a crack across the whole thing. We requested another room because at that point we didn’t trust that they wouldn’t try to charge us for that too. The bathtub plug also didn’t work, do you had to sit there and hold it while it drained. Awful! Save yourself the heads hassle, don’t stay here and take your loyalty elsewhere. We’ve had great luck with IGH hotels (Holiday Inn Express). Will avoid staying at Hampton in the future.
We have stayed here several times and have found it to be clean, staff is friendly and rooms are spacious. It works very well for our needs. We are an older couple in town to visit family. We have a small dog and it is very dog friendly.
I booked two rooms back in January for my brothers wedding. I was specific in my booking that we needed adjoining rooms. We have 5 kids and did not want to be separated from them. They put us in two separate rooms at opposite ends of the hallway. My confirmation even said I booked adjoining rooms. We talked to the employee at the front desk and there was literally nothing he could do to accomodate or honor our reservation. We were also disappointed in the continental breakfast. The scrambled eggs were so nasty. The water pressure in the showers was also very weak. I really hope this hotel can do something to make this right.I also just noticed they charged me more per room than what is stated on my confirmation. Very shady practices!!! 🤬🤬🤬
Will not be staying with Hampton ever again unless it is my only option.I booked a reservation in January of 2023, and when I came to check in this past Saturday the front desk guy said they would not honor the price I was given in my reservation due to price increses. It is called a reservation for a reason. I came expecting to pay a certain amount and was told I would be paying more, the guy at the front desk showed no sympathy and did not make any attempt to honor the price I was given when I made my reservations months ago.I also tried calling the hotel earlier that day, around 10:45, to see about early check-in as I was coming to stay from 2 hours away and needed to get ready for my brother's wedding. The lady at the front desk said nobody checked out yet so nothing is available for early check in. Isn't check out at 11? How is it that not one room is available? When we finally arrived we were able to thankfully use one of my family members room who got there a day early. I was waiting downstairs for our ride and someone else came up to the desk and asked to check in early and she was accomodated right away. After the front desk girl helped her I asked about early check in for myself again and she said nothing was available, even though she just told another girl she could get her checked in. After I walked away I heard the lady behind the desk tell, what I am assuming is a new girl or someone who was coming to relieve her, that she didn't feel good and didn't feel like doing her job. If that was the case, she shouldn't have been working. She was certainly lacking customer service skills and if she didn't feel like doing her job she shouldn't have been working.I would have gotten better service and paid half of what I did if I would have stayed at a motel or 2 star hotel than what I did with Hampton.
The staff was very friendly. The room was nice and clean. Our soap was empty but was quickly replaced when requested. It took us a couple days to figure out the thermostat. A little heads up on that would've been nice. Our room was never serviced, but it wasn't a big deal. The Breakfast items were very good and always stocked. We would stay again if in town for a figure skating competition again.
I’m not sure which rooms you other people are in but….I stay in the jacuzzi suite for sometimes days at a time when I come back. The staff absolutely takes amazing care of me. They do a wonderful job for me! Melissa is a hero for me all the time it seems. Nick nails it it the maintenance on my incessant water needs from my jacuzzi and their pool and jacuzzi As always I’m ever so impressed! Thank you for all you guys do! Well done!
Don't bother stay at this Hampton Inn. As soon as we arrived in our parking spot, we noticed the front-desk staff smoking in the hotel entrance and the whole main floor smelled of cigarette smoke. We could smell it through our masks. Also, this was the worst made up bed we have ever experienced. The bed was nice and firm, but the top sheet seemed to be a twin sheet which they put on the king bed.
Enjoyed the room, enjoyed breakfast, and I thought the overall cleanliness was on point. The only issue I have is bad enough to warrant such a low review. The management was truly horrible when it came to me checking out and using a different credit card for checkout. There was an issue and I was double charged, not a huge problem, Hilton always takes care of me. This is why I am a Hilton Honors member and only stay with Hilton. However, instead of working through the issue I was told I would be called back, never happened. I was told to wait a couple of days until the employee who did the transaction came in to work so we could figure it out, which in terms of customer service is crazy. I had to truly force the general manager to help me and felt as if I solved the issue for her.Again I love Hilton hotels and this particular stay was just fine. It’s so rare to have that bad of service I have to share. This manager truly hung up on me when I asked if I could share my point of view as a customer as to why I was upset. Some people are not built for leadership, it’s not a horrible thing, it’s just a fact.I am greatly disappointed.
I’m giving it one star because of how dirty the room was. I clean houses, so I know when something has truly been cleaned or just made to look like it has. The fact that my husband noticed it says a lot. The bad part is that we didn’t check in until 9 or 10pm. We requested to have someone come clean the bathroom, but they don’t keep cleaning staff on duty at night. We were forced to shower in a dirty shower, and use a toilet and sink that hadn’t been cleaned. There was hair in the bathroom and on one of the pillows. Gross! I also didn’t trust that they even changed the bed sheets or pillow cases. There was a skittle left on the floor. The room was very dusty. It doesn’t take much to dust these rooms if they are staying on top of the cleaning. Maybe dust them every two weeks (the minor areas)? The bed side table wasn’t wiped down. You could see smudges. Just poor housekeeping.
