Not great with service. On my way to hotel, they called me wanting my room for family as they overbooked. 3 times they called me in my four hour drive there. All day long kids running the haulways. One kid puked all over the elevator. The fire alarm went off, staff took over a hour to turn it off. Breakfast had equipment failures. All I got from the manager was , sorry. The pool and hot tub, when you can get in was so over chlorinated, you couldn’t be in there long. I was not pleased.
What do you expect from a Saturday with thanksgiving closing in. We had our rooms reserved and they weren't ready. Other that it's straight, the view depending were you're at can be sightful. The room I'm in are well prepared.
The vibe reminds you of a wilderness cabin. Fri the decor to the tile (imprinted bear prints) to the pool area. The theme is caddies throughout the hotel and it’s fun and unpretentious.Breakfast was just ok - sausage, bagels, oatmeal type of offering. Coffee was just OK.Convenient location and friendly staff, this was a nice choice for our team hotel.
Stayed two nights and we were very pleased. This location is surrounded by shopping and restaurant's. Tons of things to choose from. Rooms and beds were clean and comfy. Breakfast was great both mornings as well. Did not use the pool but from the looks it had slides and things for the kids. Used the fitness room both days and was pleased to be able to keep on a fitness schedule while traveling. We were on the lower level floor and we had a door for the room leading right out to the parking lot as well as a door inside the hotel. Looks to have access like that for most of the lower level if not all of the lower level. We will be staying here again the next time we visit Fargo.
This is a nice hotel! I really liked the log cabin esthetic. The front desk was friendly and helpful, they moved some things around so I could check in early which was awesome. Our room was a double queen and it was really big! It was very clean and loaded with places to charge all my things as well as spread out and work on my laptop. The fitness center was great it had a treadmill, bike and a cable machine. After my work out i soaked in the hot tub for a bit and bobbed in the pool. The water was clean and warm and it was hard to get out.The bed was comfy and warm and clean and the shower was loaded with fresh towels and fancy soaps. The free breakfast was hot and fresh with tons of options including eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, toast, muffins and tons of other stuff. The location is right smack in Fargo so you are walking distance to pleanty if shopping and food.I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and I can't wait to come back next time I am in Fargo!!
Absolutely perfect for two of us traveling with our dog. We had a ground floor room with an exterior door (there was also an interior door), no carpet in the room but beautiful linoleum/wood like floors, everything was pristine, and it was so easy to unpack and move right in. The reception staff were super nice. Highly recommend!
We have stayed here three separate times, and each time the staff was extremely courteous. The rooms were very clean. There was no signs of hair or dirt in the rooms or bathrooms. The swimming pool is great for the kids and the social hour is a nice little perk with free beer and wine. Breakfast is great with many options including some dairy free options. Beds are pillow top and very comfortable
Great location and hotel. We only stayed 1 night and got in late but were very impressed with the cleanliness. Rooms were big and beds comfortable. Breakfast was good with lots of options. My kids enjoyed the pool area in the morning that was well kept and clean. In the morning someone was outside sweeping the parking lot and picking up any litter. Staff was friendly. Would definitely stay here and and highly recommend!
Wonderful time at this Best Western. All the staff...and I mean all, were wonderful, kind, smiling and very helpful. Manager is awesome. My grandkids loved the pool area immensely. The morning breakfast is the best that I have had in a hotel. The rooms were spotless (we had 2 rooms), the beds and linens very comfy. I would stay here again and again. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
My mom and I did a girls' shopping weekend, and this hotel was so close to the stores we wanted to go to. Great parking, clean, adorable rooms, and the gentleman at the front desk was so nice and accommodating! We didn't use the pool but it was really cute and would be great for kids.
We enjoyed the hotel and facilities, but did not enjoy the baseball team with the parents drinking in the lobby while kids were running up and down the halls and being really loud in the pool area. I worked in hotels for years and know what a handful traveling ball teams can be. The staff was great and very helpful.
We had a ground floor jacuzzi suite and it had access from outside the hotel as well as from inside. Room was very clean, they always are. We have stayed there on several occasions and will be repeat customers for as long as they keep up the great work!! Thank you guys for a clean and comfortable stay every time!
Do not stay for the free breakfast! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was awful! The scrambled eggs were more of a tasteless paste. The sausage was average at best. The waffle batter had no taste. Tried for a hard boiled egg but it was sticky. The coffee was weak. The cereal was stale. The only viable option was toast or a bagel and the bread wasn’t fresh either. If you’re not staying for the breakfast, it’s a decent hotel but if breakfast is a reason for your stay, stay elsewhere!
Front desk was very accommodating. The room itself was satisfactory, cozy feeling, not all white walls like some of the others. The mattress could be better, but wasn't uncomfortable. We got the room with the spa, that worked well we enjoyed it. The cleaning crew was really friendly and asked us how everything was for us. Would stay again
We stayed in a king accessible room and it’s one of the best we’ve seen. There’s an entrance right by the handicapped parking so we didn’t have to navigate the entire hotel with our luggage. The roll in shower was great. They layout of the room was well thought out and there’s a regular, comfortable chair to sit in. It’s also very near the pool and vending machines. We will definitely stay here again.Breakfast was great- a waffle bar with all the fun toppings, plus eggs and many other options. The pool is a lot of fun for kids, with lots of activities to play with. The hot tub is very relaxing for adults.I don’t have anything bad to say about our stay.
The breakfast meals we enjoyed on each morning of our two days with the Best Western Plus Kelly Inn & Suites, Fargo, North Dakota were among the absolute best breakfast meals we have enjoyed in any hotel or restaurant! The breakfast area staff person prepared truly delicious breakfast entrées; and she was so gracious, courteous and helpful. Our rooms, the hallways, stairways, lobby area, breakfast area, and the outside grounds were among the very cleanest of any hotel experience we have enjoyed. All of the staff, whether at the desk, in housekeeping, the breakfast area, or outside, were so courteous and helpful, giving us a truly wonderful experience. We are so looking forward to staying at the Best Western Plus Kelly Inn & Suites, Fargo, North Dakota again soon!
Overall, great place to stay. Very clean and well maintained. They take dogs and no extra fee. Friendly staff.Breakfast is the usual institutional type of food, nothing to write home about. Good coffee, though.I've stayed here several times and never had a bad experience. It does book up fast in the summer and fall. Rates are more reasonable from October to spring.Job well done to the manager and staff.
Easy location to find. Friendly service at check in & out! Clean rooms and delicious continental breakfast with great choices! Only bummer during our 1 night stay was the hot tub was out of order due to renovations.
The breakfast here is the best!! The owner is super friendly. Just know that he could be wearing one of many hats as he does every job in the hotel when needed. As always, the staff remains some of the friendliest in the industry. You won't regret staying here.
Country Inn and Suites in Fargo ND was one of the best hotels and hotel experiences I've ever had. Fantastic service. Lovely and clean rooms. Beautiful contemporary style and design in the rooms and the lobby. Delicious breakfast included. All around terrific value. Melissa who I believe is the manager is outstanding. She consistently provided excellent personable quick service. She went the extra mile or two recently when I needed to extend my stay unexpectedly due to emergency surgery. She made it as comfortable as possible and made a bad situation as good as it could be. The accessible rooms are as stylish and beautiful as the non-accessible rooms which is not always the case for other hotels. Much care had gone into their planning and details as well, unlike most other chains' accessible rooms. I highly recommend this hotel for all its amenities and services. Like me, you'll be glad you chose to stay here. Thanks for your great care and service Melissa and Country Inn and Suites!
Overall it was a great stay. Breakfast was great and everyone was friendly. If you stay multiple nights housekeeping does not stop by each day but there was a sign that said you could ask for fresh towels or request service. However on our last night when we went to the front desk to get fresh towels, we were informed they were out and had a shortage.I guess sometimes things are what they are and I would stay again if needed.Location was easy to navigate and there was a gas station and coffee shop close by.
I was lucky enough to book this incredible hotel over the weekend, I couldn’t have made a better decision . I saved money on food everyday because the breakfast had everything you can think of , it wasn’t your typical continental breakfast . Aside from this it was different type of foods daily so it didn’t get old at all . The staff was always welcoming and so kind everyday , made me really comfortable and not afraid to ask any questions or concerns. They had everything from a bar to a pool so it really made it hard to leave , but when I would , everything was in the area . Whether it be walking distance or a quick 10 minute drive , everything was nearby which made it the perfect location for a hotel. They even had a supermarket right across the parking lot so I could easily get any necessities I was missing . Hands down the best hotel in the area, I will be returning!
I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel over the weekend and I have to say this place is a cut above! The staff (Sunny, April, Paul & Peggy) were beyond friendly/accommodating. They are easily approachable and help you with anything you need. Rooms are clean, modern, and have literally 500 channels on their cable box. This wasn't even the best part, however. Their breakfast was OUTSTANDING. Fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs, beagles and literally anything you can think of made me not want to leave. At night, the breakfast room closes and turns into a bar. The place is top notch for the price, and I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE staying in Fargo, you won't regret it!
