It's amazing ?,the rooms/hallway are tidy and it's got almost everything you need, the staff is efficient (Malleah is the best)!!! It's home away from home. It's located close to many amenities. I highly recommend ? ☺️
We came to Canada from South Africa exactly 2 weeks ago and have been lodging in the hotel since then. The hotel is absolutely amazing. The service delivery is top notch. They staffs are so friendly and helpful. There is a lady called Malleah who has been extremely helpful.I will recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a hotel/residence in Grande Prairie for any reason.
I had a beautiful self catering experience here. Loved every bit of it. The bed was spacious and comfy. I just didn't like that the TV was not smart. Overall, the room was perfect
My experience at the Grand Inn & Residence was nothing short of extraordinary. As an evacuee from Yellowknife, I was met with a level of hospitality that went above and beyond any expectations. The entire team demonstrated an unwavering commitment to ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible during a challenging time.I must extend a heartfelt appreciation to Sophia and Jenevy, the exceptional front desk agent who played a pivotal role in making our stay seamless. Her attentiveness and genuine care stood out as she navigated the complexities of our situation with grace and efficiency. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, a testament to the meticulous standards maintained by the staff. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, contributing to an environment of tranquility and comfort.Throughout our stay, the entire team continued to impress with their dedication to our well-being. Their proactive approach in making sure we had everything we needed was evident in every interaction. In a time of uncertainty, the Grand Inn & Residence provided not just accommodation, but a haven of support and compassion. I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional experience they offered. This is more than a hotel; it's a sanctuary of care and comfort, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly exceptional stay.
Not the best…not the worst….Customer service is very good.A/c in the room was poor.Cleanliness of the room was extremely poor, we found numerous items from the previous people that had stayed in here.Food can be found across the road in the sister hotel. Very good good.Overall for this hotel, I’m giving 2-stars.
I do not recommend this property. Do not believe the pictures they have posted online. I usually stay at Delta Marriott in GP for business and thought I would try this “boutique” hotel. This is more equivalent to a run down Super 8. The rooms are old, dated and not clean. I asked to move to another room and the next room would not lock. So they moved me again to another room. Very unprofessional and I slept with things placed up against my door as the person changing my rooms seemed to just walk down the hallway opening doors. As soon as I woke up, checked out and went to a different hotel.
No starsHorrible experienceThey have one room for handicap and when I arrived, it felt l like a furnace was on.I called-they said they would send maintenance. After waiting almost an hour, I called back and they explain maintenance doesn’t work in the evenings and I said OK so who was going to let me know and I couldn’t open the window to the room. I didn’t sleep at all that night the next day maintenance still never came so they switched me rooms which was not a handicap. Then daytime managers explained the bottom floor does not have air-conditioning, so I don’t know what the hotel was trying to tell me, maintenance was coming to fix the air conditioning that doesn’t exist on the bottom floor.Never even attempted to extend any deduction on the room from hellish night before. It was horribleNever ever again
What an excellent hotel. I was unsure what to expect and very happy. Hotel is in great condition. Friendly, professional staff. Clean. Room 451 was like new inside...huge, clean, comfortable. Fully equipped and quiet. Great bathroom and shower. Restaurant in lobby was also delicious and great value. I'd stay here again for sure. I picked this hotel because the Red Arrow bus to Edmonton stops in the parking lot. Very convenient. Busy but not crowded.
after all the terrible reviews I was very skeptical. my room on the 3rd floor was very nice. clean, comfortable. lots of well lit parking. breakfast was free. with waitstaff and there were zero complaints from us. Sorry I doubted it.
Hotel is very outdated and definitely needs some renos. The hallway floors are broken underneath the carpet. Linens are old, dirty, stained. Housekeeping is almost non existent. Pet friendly rooms all smell like urine. My dog was actually rolling on whatever the smell was in the one room. The room walls are just beat right up. Furniture is also falling apart. One room actually had a falling apart water logged bathroom ceiling.
