Hands down one of the best hotels I have been to. I travel a lot with all brands and this has been one of my favorite. I stayed here for a birthday celebration and from the valet, to the front desk, the restaurant staff just everyone ….: exceptional, superb and very professional. They ensured to follow every request to the T, the young lady that checked me in was so kind and wished us happy birthday. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast - everyone was friendly. Trust me. Cleanliness, design , location and just overall experience can’t be beat❤️
Great new hotel that opened up in July 2024. We were greeted upon check in and there was some refreshing lime infused water at the check in desk. Our room had partial mountain views and everything in the room was great. The bed was super comfortable. There is a rooftop bar at the 19th floor which was 180 degree views of the Rocky Mountains. The bar gets filled up pretty quickly on Fridays and Saturdays, so would recommend going early. The entire staff was very friendly. They could improve the turnaround times at the bar but I would give a shoutout to the bartender who went out of his way and made a hot lemon ginger tea for my girlfriend. I would also highly recommend using the complimentary chauffeur driven house car (it is a Mercedes EQS 580) to go anywhere within a 5 miles radius. We also got a late checkout till 2 PM upon asking. I would definitely visit again.
All in all the hotel is nice as it’s new and the staff friendly but they need to work out the kinks and finishing touches. Towel holder fell off the wall, needs professional mounts. Shampoos on floor of shower - needs shelf or wall mount, and see advertised city view photo.
We chose this place for the convenient location. It’s close to Denver and Colorado Springs. Only an hour away from Golden Gate Canyon, and Garden of the Gods we got to see the beautiful aspens changing color. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with great views. The restaurant had amazing food and the rooftop was beautiful! All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. They have travel essentials available if needed which made our trip so much more enjoyable and less stressful. I love this hotel!
We had an incredible stay! The front desk staff was very welcoming upon our arrival. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. They truly care that you have a great stay and have everything you need, if they don't, they will do their best to get it for you. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food is AMAZING. The wait staff was kind, welcoming and provided fantastic service. The food exceeded our expectations and they use local ingredients. 10/10 would recommend a stay here. We wish we had another night. When we return the Denver, we will stay here again.
Loved this property. We stayed on the 14th floor. Had a suite with amazing views of the city and mountains. Comfy bed, spacious room, soaking tub with separate shower. Had a snafu with A/C but attentive staff quickly remedied and had us in a new room when they realized the repair would take time. Happy hour was a nice surprise. Local beers and decent wines. Very high end look and feel. Unfortunately didn’t get a chance to experience the sky bar but heard good things. Great breakfast in the restaurant. We’re not big fans of valet parking so we were happy to find plenty of free sparking along the street.
I rarely write hotel reviews, but our experience here was exceptional, so I had to share! The entire property is brand-new, impeccably clean, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. We checked in on a Saturday, and although the rooftop bar was bustling, we enjoyed the lively atmosphere and mountain views and eventually snagged a seat at the outdoor bar rail. The food and drinks were fantastic! Later, we headed downstairs for dessert and wine, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergies, even suggesting perfect wine pairings. At one point, the fire alarms went off, and we had to briefly evacuate. It turned out to be a bit too much smoke from the rooftop kitchen, but the staff handled the situation calmly, kept us informed, and had us back in the restaurant within 20 minutes. We were in town for a wedding and had a late flight, so we requested a late checkout. They graciously allowed us to extend our stay until 3 PM, which made our day so much easier. We will definitely be looking to stay here again next time we're in Denver!
In October, I stayed at the Limelight Hotel through Amex's FHR program and had a great experience. The room featured a beautiful wood-tone design, offering a spacious and comfortable atmosphere. Despite being located next to the Union Station platform, I was impressed by the excellent soundproofing, which kept the room quiet. The blackout curtains also did a perfect job of blocking out sunlight. The hotel's location made it easy to walk around downtown Denver. With FHR, we enjoyed breakfast for two ($60 value) and a $100 hotel credit, which we used for valet and ordering room service which offered from the AJAX restaurant. The food is great but a little bit salty for me. But it's ok for my husband. Additionally, the hotel offers complimentary bike rentals to explore the city and free entry to the museum of contemporary art Denver. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. This time I used Amex's FHR to stay at the Limelight hotel. I really like the wood-tone design of the hotel room, which is spacious and comfortable. Although it is next to the Union station platform, I was worried that it would be noisy, but the sound insulation is very good, and the blackout curtains completely block the sun. You can walk directly on the streets of Denver. FHR comes with breakfast for 2 people ($60), $100 hotel credit that can be used for projects such as Valet, room service, AJAX restaurant, etc. You can also rent bicycles for free to explore the city and visit art galleries for free. Overall highly recommended.
I will never stay anywhere else if I'm in downtown Denver. We've stayed at the Limelight downtown Denver location twice now. Clean and updated rooms, nice amenities, good location, friendly staff. You will likely not find a nicer hotel that is so pet friendly either. Thanks!
We recently stayed at the Limelight Hotel in Denver and had a fantastic experience. The rooms were cozy, spacious, and beautifully maintained. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service, especially from Angela at the front desk. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, handling every request with care and professionalism. We highly recommend the Limelight for anyone looking for comfort and great service in Denver.
Super conveniently located near Union Station, we flew into Denver, took the rail to Lower Downtown (LoDo) and theLimelight hotel was just steps away. Clean and well appointed rooms. Service in every department was prompt, professional, but more importantly, FUN! Everyone seemed to enjoy what they do!
Limelight hotel is my new favorite in Denver! The beds are extremely comfortable. The vibe is awesome. The service is impeccable. There are many thoughtful touches throughout the hotel that make it feel cozy and modern. We live in the mountains and are always looking for good places to stay when we come down to the city and the limelight is definitely at the top of our list if it’s available! Highly recommend
I recently stayed at the Limelight Hotel in downtown Denver for a business trip, and it was an absolute pleasure. This hotel is truly a hidden gem in the heart of the city. From the moment I arrived, the service was fantastic. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Every interaction was marked by professionalism and friendliness, making me feel right at home. The room was up-to-date and extremely clean, providing a perfect blend of modern amenities and cozy comfort. It was clear that attention to detail is a priority at the Limelight Hotel, as everything was meticulously maintained. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer to fully enjoy all the amenities and explore more of what the hotel has to offer. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in Denver, both for business and personal trips. If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay in downtown Denver, I highly recommend the Limelight Hotel. It's a hidden gem that combines excellent service, modern comfort, and a prime location.
My wife and I just spent 4 nights at the Limelight, and it was a wonderful experience. The facilities were very exceptionally clean, modern and functional. The room was very comfortable and inviting. We both worked from our room and the lobby and even took advantage of the Hotel’s offer of passes to the nearby Thrive Workplace. The staff in the bar and restaurant were very attentive and professional and the front desk personnel were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate all of our needs. The location is so fun, being next to Union Station, near the Dairy Block and just a short walk to Coors Field and many great restaurants. We highly recommend the Limelight. It’s such a great place from which to enjoy all of Denver.
First the good: The Limelight hotel is beautiful, the staff is all very helpful, attentive and kind! The location is great. The rooms are also beautiful, the tv was easy to use and the shower was amazing! It was very clean and we appreciated the complimentary waters in our room. The bad: We only had one issue but because of what it was it impacted the stay overall. The bed was SO uncomfortable. The mattress felt cheap. It was super firm but not a good firm, it was a springy/bouncy hard if that makes sense. Then the pillows were so thin my husband and I both woke up with sore necks. They did have real linens though, which I really appreciated.Overall the stay was good. If the beds were higher quality, I'd definitely come back.
10/10 recommend. Our first time staying here and I’d certainly return. The location was spot on with walking distance to everything, and it was in a quieter place without lots of foot traffic despite the close proximity to Union Station. The staff was super friendly and made check in / check out quick and seamless. The rooms were very clean, updated, and had all you would need with the appliances to a full bar and snacks. The noise from other rooms and outside were non-existent and that was impressive. The little details throughout the hotel were nice to see and really made the entire stay comfortable. The hotel is pet friendly, but expect to walk down the street to find some grass. Overall, I wish I stayed longer to check out the fitness center and the restaurant that we got a $10 voucher for but did not use.
I always enjoy staying at the Limelight Hotel, and one of the highlights is definitely the candy bar! However, during my last visit, there was a significant issue that marred the experience – the sheets not fitting the mattress properly. This was quite disappointing and affected my overall comfort. Nevertheless, the hotel's location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. The friendly staff and overall atmosphere ensured that my stay was memorable, but I do hope they address the bedding issue for future guests.
Staff is chipper and helpful. Service is great. Excellent restaurant with a bar (shout-out to the bartender). Rooms are clean. Upscale self-service espresso machine available in the lobby. Interior design is neat with wooden accents. Cozy and welcoming all around. Walking distance from coffee shops, ice cream parlors, shopping, and train station.
Wonderful location!! Can not beat the Union Station location, can get anywhere via light rail or train (even bus). We walked a good deal after dinner, back to hotel after the hotel car dropped us off for dinner. Rooms were nice, we were upgraded to a suite thanks to a clients generosity. Hotel restaurant is good for breakfast and bar good for a cocktail. Though thought the cocktails were served in a smaller than usual glass. WE will return.
