Explore Orlando: Top Spots, Eats, and Hotel Picks
Orlando’s got more than ten hotels where you can get a private jacuzzi or hot tub in your room. TubHotels keeps tabs on what’s available around International Drive, Lake Buena Vista, and near Universal. You’re looking at $65/night on the cheap end, up to $200+ for the fancy resort places. Book midweek and you’ll save 30-40% compared to weekends.
Attractions Worth Checking Out
Disney World is huge – 25,000 acres split into four parks. Multi-day passes start around $80 per day per person. You need 3 days minimum to see the main stuff without rushing.
Universal costs $80-139 for one day, depending on when you go. Both get slammed during holidays and summer break. Show up right when they open (called rope drop) to beat the worst crowds. Download their apps to see wait times.
Lake Eola Park is downtown, maybe 25 minutes from where all the tourist stuff is. Swan boat rentals are $15 for half an hour. There’s a walking path that loops 0.9 miles around the water. Nice spot for an evening walk when you’re theme-parked out
Orlando Science Center runs $24 for adults, $17 for kids. Planetarium and four floors of exhibits. Plan on 2-3 hours to see it all.
Where to Eat or Drink
Victoria & Albert’s books up to 60+ days out for weekends. Real fancy – $295+ per person before you even order drinks. Save it for anniversaries. They’ve got a chef’s table for $425 per person if you really want to go all out.
4 Rivers Smokehouse knows BBQ. The burnt ends platter is $9 and feeds two people, no problem. They’ve got multiple locations. The Winter Park location usually has shorter waits. Get there before 6 PM or wait till after 8 PM to skip the dinner crowd.
The Courtesy Bar does craft cocktails for $10-18. Happy hour 4-6 PM from Tuesday to Friday, with half-price appetizers, makes it a cheap dinner.
Hash House a Go Go serves breakfast portions that are honestly ridiculous. Their pancakes are 12 inches across. You’ll want to split.
Top Picks for Hotels with Hot Tubs in the Room
Vacation Village at Parkway – The Jacuzzi’s in the bedroom, not the bathroom. Way better setup. Full kitchens, a washer and dryer in the room. Runs $125-140/night. Free shuttle to Universal every 30 minutes from 8 AM to midnight. Three pools plus a lazy river on site.
Westgate Town Center Resort – A Mile from Disney Springs. Hot tub suites with separate bedrooms cost $110-130/night. They’ve got mini golf and pools. Instacart delivers groceries. No resort fees here, which saves you $25-35 daily, compared to most Orlando hotels.
Bluegreen Vacations Orlando Sunshine Resort – Two-bedroom places with jetted tubs start at around $200/night. Kids’ stuff includes pool games and movie nights. Kitchen lets you make breakfast and save money. Sleeps 6-8 people total. Weekly rates knock about 20% off the nightly price.
Nearby Cities for Jacuzzi Suites
Miami is 235 miles southeast, 3.5 hours driving. Beach hotels run $80-450/night for jacuzzi rooms. South Beach costs more, but you’re right on the water.
We had a great stay at Tuscan Villas. Everything was very clean, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. Having a washer and dryer in the room was a huge plus. The pools are well maintained, the hot tubs are excellent, and the gym was solid for a vacation property. The location is a standout—centrally located with a Publix right across the street and an easy-access gate directly to the outlet malls. As an HGV Club owner, I’ve stayed at several Orlando properties, and this is definitely one of the better ones. Highly recommend.
I was a bit nervous before arriving after reading some of the reviews, but they were completely wrong. Our stay at Hilton Grand Vacations Tuscany Village was amazing! The room was spotless, very spacious, and comfortable, and the bathroom was just as clean and roomy. Everything felt well taken care of. Housekeeping service was a 10/10—friendly, attentive, and consistent. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!
This is my favorite place to be out of all the Hilton Resorts. It's got an Italian flair and 2 pools with multiple hot tubs and a great pool bar where the game is always on. There's no formal restaurant, but wonderful food and a marketplace. It's in walking distance to the huge outlet mall, multiple restaurants, pharmacies, and groceries. The rooms are always spacious and clean. The staff is happy and accommodating. I get to make my own food in the full kitchen and do laundry if needed. They supply all the cleaning stuff. Their beds are comfy and warm and the views are amazing from the balcony.
Great Hotel. Great Services. Great experience. People here come to relax and unwide they are friendly and welcoming. They are always on positive vibes and looking to keep having a great time. The food is great and the option for room service is even better. I really enjoy the time don’t with my family here and even enjoy the 90 plus minutes of sales presentation when comes to time share. I think we were building meteorites with my kids and this place was the perfect scenarie for it. Will be back soon.
We loved this hotel! The rooms were gorgeous. The staff went out of their way to help make our stay more comfortable. And the location allows easy access to a grocery store, lots of great restaurants, free parking and a premium outlet mall. They also have lots of activities, a game room, a gym, a very large pool, and hot tubs. So much to do, and it's close to Disney. 🔥
Rooms are beautiful. Love the location right by Vineland Outlets. Could walk there no problem from building 6 or 7.
They could do a little better with supplies. I get that they don't clean the rooms everyday (I don’t want that, but they should check in to see about toilet paper, shower gel etc. and extra towels.
Will definitely continue to stay as long as there is availability.
Most units have a view of the lake which is beautiful. Some due to configuration do not have this view. This time I had a view of the outlets, but we had a 3br and they are only a couple on each floor.
I’ve slept in better. Mattress was okay. Room okay. View great. Air stopped working on the second day. They do not like being told no to timeshare. (The first two people were great. Our checkout guy had a major attitude that I didn’t want to pay 2k for a 7 day vaca ). Beautiful property. Close to outlets. Be ware you spend money easily there. Bar near pool is a plus.
I recently stayed at Hilton Grand Vacations and while the property itself has beautiful amenities, the rooms left much to be desired. The accommodations felt very outdated — the room still had a VCR, the bathroom showed clear signs of age with chipped paint and buckled sheetrock, and the overall atmosphere felt neglected. The bed and pillows were uncomfortably hard, which made it difficult to get a good night’s rest.
On the positive side, the amenities and grounds of the property are well maintained and visually appealing, offering a nice resort feel. However, the rooms do not match the same standard of quality, and the outdated conditions take away from the overall experience.
The on-site restaurant was another disappointment. As expected with a resort, the prices were high, but unfortunately, the quality of the food didn’t justify the cost. I would recommend dining off property instead.
Overall, Hilton Grand Vacations has the potential to deliver a wonderful stay thanks to its amenities, but significant updates and improvements to the rooms and dining experience are needed to truly meet the level of quality guests expect.
I stayed here a while back with friends for 2 nights and 3 days and let me tell you it was not long enough! I truly wish we had more time to enjoy more of the village. I would love to come back here in the future! It was truly beautiful and peaceful. Rooms were amazing! Pools were great. The drinks and food pool side were delicious.
The resort is well located in-between many attractions which is why me and my family decided to stay there for the birthday of our daughter. Rooms are spacious and clean. It’s a big big resort (staff might bring you to your room on a golf cart) which means that you might end up far away from the pool. There is a great shopping centre behind the resort, with all the brands you can dream of and amazing discounts... Overall it was a great vacation but I’m leaving 1 star because after 2months since we checked out, the hotel hasn’t done anything regarding the petty theft that happened in our room. Almost 700$ gone (most probably stolen by the cleaning staff?) and nothing. I’ve traveled to many places in this world, never using the safe that is provided in the hotel rooms and I never had any issues, until now. Gerald the security guy in charge was nice but was reluctant to share the badging details to our room with the deputy sheriff which was very weird. The result is that there will be no consequences for the perpetrator. From our understanding, this hotel is using a third party company for cleaning services and we just got lost in an administrative spiral that will never end, from the hotel itself to the insurance of this third party. Hopefully this review will make future customers aware! If you decide to go there, use the safe lockers and be look after your belongings.
The good: Contrary to other reviews, there were zero issues with parking. We had zero issues with noise from adjacent units (since our unit didn't share a lockout door). Our room was very clean and nicely appointed. The pool area is nice.
Pro tip: There are 6x 1BR units in each building that do NOT share a door with another unit. Literally all the other 1BR units are "lockout" units. This means that they share a common lockout door that connects them to another unit, usually the studio unit. Ask specifically for a unit that "is NOT a lockout unit" if you want privacy.
The bad: I called the front desk for cleaning service and fresh linens, multiple times. It took them two days to eventually come. They did a good job when they eventually showed up. Building 1 is subject to loud noise from the pool area until 11pm at night.
I have young kids and it is challenging to sleep when teens are screaming until 11pm in the pool, right outside our patio. Consider getting a room far away from the main pool. The sliding doors don't seal well and you can easily hear everything from the outside. I cannot imagine what this place is like during peak season. The elevators were being repaired during my visit and some of the buttons were not working properly. The rooms are very stingy with food prep consumables. They didn't even provide salt and pepper, cooking oil, coffee filters, etc. Having stayed in many timeshares and extended stay places, this was the stingiest I've personally seen, which is unexpected of a Hilton branded resort. (The actual cookware was fine)
The ugly: I came back to my room and found the door cracked open, twice! One of the two times, the housekeepers were probably there. I think the door was not latching properly unless you pushed it shut hard. When I called the front desk, no one came to my unit to review the issue. Many would give a resort 1 star for this problem. I'm being charitable. This was totally unacceptable.
Overall, having stayed at many timeshare resorts in my life, I do think this is a nice resort overall. The resort and rooms are nice, and the staff that actually shows up do a good job. They just have to figure out the noise issues and keep up on general maintenance better. My parents own a timeshare at another Orlando resort, and I would probably go back there before going back to HGVC Tuscany Village. If I do return, I will be VERY specific about what room I want, in what building, and double confirm.
Not good. Room was not upgraded, really old. Elevator was not working, the other was horribly slow and no ac. The concierge bragged about being next to the outlet mall, but the gate leading to the mall was broken. Never going back
I would have liked to give this more stars to reflect the hard work the staff does. However safety became a very big concern last night or should I say this morning at 3:00 am, throughout our unit 6 we heard a person yelling for a good 15 minutes, called the front desk and they seemed rattled about the situation. I went outside which I hesitated, to see there was at least 12 other guests that were concerned. My issue is that I feel this was a safety issue and when I asked staff about it pass the buck for answers which none had, not even acknowledging the event. We bring our children here, a better response should have happened.
We stayed here with our toddler and will be returning now for a third time coming up in April. Comfortable beds, great amenities, super close to Publix, only 10 minutes from Disney parks. The ground are beautiful. Pools are clean. Service is pretty good.
Close to attractions, food & shopping. Rooms were clean, spacious, & beds are comfortable. Plenty amenities on the property, but everything is really spread out. Do be prepared to walk. Pool vibes are fantastic. Staff was pleasant & helpful. Room wasn't ready when we arrived after check-in time & had to wait almost 2hrs. Also, parking is frustrating. There aren't enough spaces close to the property (after 8:30 pm is horrible & almost non-existent, so take note if you venture out at night.) I would definitely stay here again, but I hope they resolve or provide clearer details on the parking issue.
Came to this resort for a week long family vacation. We had a one bedroom that connected to a studio with a king size bed. The rooms were spacious, and had all of the amenities that we needed to be very comfortable for the week. There are 2 pools on the property, and the main pool has a bar/restaurant and entertainment. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It was so convenient to be able to text the front desk with requests. If we ever come back to Orlando, we will absolutely be staying here.
Wonderful property that's really close to shopping (connected to an outlet mall) and restaurants. Got in late from a delayed flight and was checked in right away. The whole check-in process lasted about 10 minutes. Made it to my room in Building 4, which was clean, comfortable, and had great views (pool/water side). I had a one bedroom with a screened in balcony, full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes. Other reviewers complained of noise and parking and I no issues with either. I guess it depends on the time you go and where your room is located. I was on the top floor (7th) of my building and even slept with my bedroom sliding door open each night (4 night stay). The property has several amenities (2 pools...one has a full bar, 2 fitness centers, basketball court, media center for older kids, activities center for younger kids, a marketplace, etc). It's close to Disney World, Universal and Sea World (within a 15 minute drive). Overall, this was a great property to stay at and would definitely stay here again when visiting.
The grounds of this place is absolutely beautiful!! Whoever landscaped the property did a spectacular job! It is a fairly large resort. The lake and walking paths are wonderful. They have two pools which my husband and I did not get to use because there was a lot of screaming children in them. It would be nice to have an additional pool or lazy river or something that would add more swimming opportunities since they can house lots of people. I feel due to the amount of people that can be at the property at a time, there isn’t enough pools to comfortably allow swimming opportunities for everyone. We stayed in a one bedroom unit- it had a full sized kitchen, dining area, living room, nice sized bedroom, nice sized bathroom with stand up shower and between the bedroom and bathroom there is a nice jetted tub, the unit also has a washer and dryer. We did have some issues with cleanliness and they offered to do a deeper cleaning and was extremely kind to us, but we had already cleaned the problem areas that should’ve been taken care of prior to us checking in. The balcony is screened in with a ceiling fan, so it was very comfortable out there. The property is close to an outlet mall and lots of restaurants, close to a variety of activities. The units can be conjoined via doors between them, of course we didn’t utilize that, but I will say that I’m not sure if it is the doors or just how the walls are made, you can hear your neighbors pet easily. In knowing that, we kept quiet as to not disturb other guests, but others guests definitely didn’t mind being loud themselves— especially at midnight. Although we had an issue with the cleanliness of the bathroom and bedroom and lack of soundproofing, we’d stay here again if we vacationed in Orlando.
My husband and I stayed here for a small vacation and I will say our experience was very welcoming. Overall the location was amazing since it’s only 10 minutes away from Universal Studios and has a connecting path to an outlet mall. The service we got was incredible, everyone was super attentive and willing to help. It has great pools if you want to have a relaxing day around the resort, and a bar; prices in the bar are typical hotel prices $10-$15 for a drink and some food. There are two downsides that led to me giving 4/5. The parking is honestly limited. We stayed in villa 7 and had to park in the lobby parking lot because everything else was full. They do have a golf cart that can take you to your building so honestly the parking situation wasn’t a major inconvenience. The most notable downside is the thing walls. I was woken up at 8AM by the upstairs neighbors moving furniture and running around. To my left I could hear some lady screaming at house cleaning (so rude). Honestly, that was my major issue with the stay. Overall the place was very clean and the rooms were cute, I do wish they would look a bit more rustic so it can fit the whole Italian vibe.
We stayed here for five days before visiting the parks. It has a great location next to the outlet mall if you want to do shopping. The pools are great for a swim and the lake is cool to run round. It is a total of 0.6 miles to get round the lake which makes for a great morning run of a few laps! Has a good gym and lots of facilities. It was a super comfortable stay.
Staff was absolutely excellent, room was beautiful and spacious. Kitchen was stocked with essentials and the washer and dryer were so convenient. Amenities were plenty. Poolside bar had DELICIOUS we'll priced food. Check in and out was easy, especially checkout. Any requests were filled promptly. Highly recommend!!
Very stylistically pleasing property! Definitely made me feel like I was on vacation. The room I had was really big for 2 people, but pretty plain looking. Gets the job done! Some nice pools. If you’re coming in late after a day at the theme parks though, you might not find a parking space or it might be far away from your building. Keep that in mind. I would stay here again though.
This hotel is awesome, but it misses one of the most important basic factors people seek when booking a hotel: lack of sound control.
Two separate families checked in and out at the room next to us, and each time until 11 to 12am, you could very much hear them talking at their normal levels. Not their fault, nothing to be done about it.
Good things: The pool is heated, beautiful, and never over packed. There are two hot tubs at a pretty decent size. Love to see it. They have great drinks at the pool bar at reasonable prices(drink of the day 8$, refillable buckets @17.95). You get 2 free coffees or bottled waters each day. There are activities to do around the pool such as connect four and ping pong. You are literally right beside the mall and there are gates that take you right to its parking lot. Takes about 5 mins of walking.
All in all, this is a good hotel if you are not a light sleeper and plan to not go to bed early. Unfortunately I am both so I will not be booking again.
I requested an early check in due to our early morning arrival from a cruise The young man working the counter was very nice expedited my request and called me when our room was ready. The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit with full kitchen and laundry was very spacious for our family of 5. It was very nice, clean and updated. I would definitely stay at this location again if available. It is very close to restaurants and the parks. There is a fun zone /arcade within walking distance.
The location is A1 but this resort definitely needs to be revamped. Maybe put in some pool slides, and more amenities. I guess I've gotten spoiled by going to the fountains next to SeaWorld which is a totally different experience. Also, I do a lot of cooking and right above the stove there was no lighting or fan for ventilation. I was told some of the handicap rooms come like that and I don't feel like that is fair, it is CAP! My cousin has CP and is bound to a wheelchair so we had to have a accessible room. However, I thought that it would have all the necessary equipment available, and it did not including pots and pans. We had to call housekeeping service several times. Don't know if this was such a great experience versus the other resort.
Our rooms were clean and well stocked. The interior is not super modern but it is in great shape, well maintained and clean. Modern appliances all worked and the common areas like the pool and game areas were well cared for. No signs of bugs. The location is just 6-8 minutes from Universal and is surrounded by tourist shops and amusements.
Close to Universal Studios, clean rooms that were well accommodated! Neat kitchen area, dining area, and living room. Each room has a patio area which I loved personally. I will say during our visit there was some updating/construction going on which was a little noisy on days we planned on sleeping in but they did notify us of the construction before hand so it wasn't unexpected. The checking was a little confusing and hard to find. Even helped one family trying to find the "check in" so that could use some additional signage in my opinion. But the location was amazing. The beds were comfy and the unit was nice so overall I dont have any complaints.
Not a good time to be here at all. Construction work began at 0645 with the demolition of pavers using a sledgehammer and some equipment. No pool. The room smelled and a UV walk through wasn't impressive, especially the smaller bathroom. The surrounding area also requires you to make sure you have good situational awareness. Although, on the plus side, you're right next to a fun spot.
Office is in very back of building. It is bizarre. You have to walk all the way back to check in and there are no reserved spots to park for check in. Parking lot is very tight in front. Neighborhood is run down. I would not walk around here, but then, there's really not much to walk to. Of all the Bluegreen resorts I've used, this is on the bottom of list.
Extremely close to Universal! Large rooms, comfortable beds! Great water pressure! Multiple times in multiple rooms we've had horrible issues with the front bathroom toilet not flushing.... Not really enough parking for busy seasons.
Stay here for edc it was a spectacular room with a great view I really enjoyed my stay very comfortable bed and the living area wad a nice touch. It was in a great location next to lots of eaterys and right next to fun spot so you will have a few things to do at this location. Overall staff were nice and they did a good job of making sure all reservations were in order I am pleased.
I had to keep the doors open all day and night. The nicotine smell from years of the past was extremely strong. The fire alarm is not properly hooked up and kept going off. Changing the battery several different times did not fix the problem. If the place was even remotely close to being half booked there is not enough parking. Parking on top of a stump with a sports car is trouble in the macking. They do have night security lol.. unfortunately I walked up on him when he was getting stoned. So tell me, how secure are we ? Guaranteed you will be disappointed.
Good but not great. My least favorite of the five or six resorts I've stayed at so far. It seems to be an older resort. My biggest issue is with the bathroom: the door had dirty drip stains on it in every color of the rainbow, the tub drain was clogged and took a couple hours to drain after every shower. Worst of all, I ran a washcloth over the surface of the tub before my daughter took a bath and it was absolutely filthy! We also had no soaps or detergents when we arrived. I called down to the front desk and the receptionist was a bit snarky as if it was in front of us and we didn't see it. When they brought it up to our room they only brought laundry detergent even though I asked for laundry/dishwasher/dish soap. Otherwise the rest is okay. The pool is decent but not exciting.
I'm going back to The Fountains next time I come to Orlando.
