Wife and I stayed here the night of our wedding and it was exactly what we needed. Clean, comfortable, and especially quiet for being in a city. Not to mention, they were extremely accommodating and let us check in early so we could drop off our bags and get ready for our big day! Can't recommend this spot enough if you're looking for a place to stay while in Raleigh!

I was in town for business and found Guest House Raleigh on a Google Search. I am SO happy I stayed! After a long day of travel and meetings, it was absolutely wonderful to check-in to a cozy room, a hot shower, a cup of tea and a soft bed to relax in. The place was incredibly clean, and every detail was well thought through. 10/10 would recommend and stay again!

Very clean, nice kitchen area and tables in the pretty backyard. Convenient parking right behind the house. Keypad access was nice. Room not large, but nice. Very quiet stay. One suggestion for improvement is putting in a couple of folding suitcase stands to make for more surface area. On-the-go breakfast items were available in the room and in the kitchen as were a variety of beverages. Very short walk to a brewery and the Transfer Co. Food Hall which offers a great variety of choices.

This was our first stay at the Guest House and it was amazing! Great communication leading up to our stay and during our stay. The house is in an awesome walkable location surrounded by cool food and coffee options. We were initially apprehensive to share common spaces with strangers but honestly we only saw a few people in passing and it was kind of cool! We met a few nice people who were from all over the globe! It felt very safe and private still! The house, stylistically, is so cool!! Smells great upon arrival, super clean, quiet, and well stocked. Our room was so comfortable and cute. We really enjoyed all of the small details of the house- from the cute backyard courtyard to the complimentary cookies in the kitchen. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in town.

The Aloft has great style and vibes but those high marks were offset by functional challenges.Conversations from adjoining rooms and the hall were easily heard through the walls of my room. The water pressure was very low and the temperature fluctuated. The hairdryer provided was the weakest of any hotel dryer I have used and combined with the low water pressure, really extended my prep time.Unfortunately, I can’t get sleep or prepare for my day with hotel style alone. These issues created problems instead of preventing or solving basic travel needs.

Strange floor plan layout. Do not get a room on the 3rd floor unless you don't mind hearing club music blasting from the lobby (on the 2nd floor) all day and night. Had to call the front desk around 9:45pm to ask if the music ever stops playing. The person who answered said they typically turn off the music at 11pm, but he turned it off early at my request. However, bright and early at 6:45am the next morning, music was back on and blasting. Doors slam shut and echo throughout the hallway. The clock tower rings every hour. There is absolutely nothing peaceful about this hotel.

I had an emergency car charging issue and when I asked ALoft if I could charge my car for a bit they declined and said it’s for current guests only. I could see the charger wasn’t being used and just needed it for 30 minutes so I could make it home.I get the premise of not allowing just anyone off the street to charge, but I wasn’t going to leave my car and only needed it for 30 minutes max. I am a rewards member with Aloft and have stayed with them countless times. It would be a nice gesture to help a continuing customer out in a time of need. Will be choosing another chain next time I stay somewhere.

The room was clean and the location was great! My only complaint is that I was here for a business trip and this room was paid for by my company before arrival. I was told they still needed a card on file for our stay and my card would not be charged for the room. My card ended up being charged for the room anyway, even though I was told it would not be charged and it has been over a week since being told I would be refunded and the charge is still on my card. The stay was great but make sure you check your card statement closely!!

I stayed here for a work-related conference at NC State University at Raleigh, and this hotel is literally right across from the campus. You can see the bell tower from the windows of this hotel from across the street! It’s also within walking distance of many local places. We walked to the university from the hotel to get to our conference session locations. It’s a great walk. The hotel itself was cool and had a couple of levels and entrances. The bed was super nice and comfortable, and the views were really good. The bathroom was nice, but the water pressure for the shower was next to none. I was able to get clean though. All in all, I enjoyed a good couple of nights here!
