Wowwwwww!!!!! Best hotel ever what a sweet Gem and remarkable service The food staff is great delicious cuisine Bartenders awesome!!! What can I say the Drury RoCks!!!! Beware of the 50.oo fee charged on your card at check in they will steal it check your account.
This was my first time, I was very happy with everything. The staff was excellent, food was great I mean really good. Drinks was awesome bartender was so sweet and helpful. I will be staying again in one. Thanks to all there that made our trip great. We went to Lionel Richie concert so happyKaren Pittman
Check-in was pleasant, friendly, and detailed.Breakfast and dinner were fantastic . The bartender was amazing ?The housekeeping is lacking. Loud, talking poorly of customers, and Foul language. We watched several drug exchanges happening in the parking lot, and our room was connected to another room, so we could hear everything
Cynthia & Rocky at the front desk were extremely helpful & professional during my stay. James, the bartender during dinner & kickback hours, was extremely helpful, friendly, & professional when explaining how everything worked. For my first time in a Drury Inn, I will most definitely choose to stay in one again!
Very comfortable and quiet. Nice room. Free hot breakfast and "kick back" about 5:30pm like a light dinner. Bottles of water would have been nice to have in room. Nice stay. Friendly staff. Checked in very late.
The Drury Inn is the best Hotel I've ever stayed. There rooms are fair priced, clean, up to date. The place is elegant. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, dinner, cocktails, breakfast. The desk clerk, staff and manager are 1st class and truly there to serve. There is not even one negative thing at Drury. A hotel like one should be for a great stay. Hilton is truly inferior to the Drury Inn in way too many facets. Drury Inn, I Commend and THANK YOU for a wonderful place and for truly caring about your guests. Would give you 10 stars if that were possible.
Staff is great. I have to mention that 1st off. I have stayed here around 12 times. I haven’t met a staff member who wasn’t friendly and accommodating. Where else can you get a free full breakfast and a different dinner every night and is actually good. 3 free drinks as well. The rooms are always clean and the location feels very safe and good restaurants around if you want to eat out. One of the Robert Trent Jones trail golf courses is right down the road. Also the free fresh popcorn is worth mentioning. The only time there was a hiccup I had my son with me and the pool was down for a couple of hours. The manager gave my son a free ice cream for his patience. Stay here you won’t be disappointed
What a great hotel in a very nice upscale neighborhood. Mature trees all around make this spot special, and the restaurant inside makes great good! I highly recommend this new hotel.
The room size was perfect for two with indoor swimming and a small gym. We ate at their bar & and grille, which it was good food at a decent price. However, DQ, Publix, and Subway were close to the hotel. I wasn't able to tour the area because of surgery, but they do have a decent size replica of Lady Liberty. However, the hotel is pet friendly, and I was awakened by a dog barking in the next room. Also, the room had an animal smell, and the floors needed a mopping. I would stay at another Hilton, but only if it had no animals.
We stayed at this hotel this past weekend from Thursday - Sunday, May 16th - May 19th. This was our 4th time staying at this hotel within 3 and 1/2 years. This time we got a king suite. This was the worst experience we’ve had. When we got into our room, my toddler was walking around exploring. She went into the shower in the main bathroom and came out holding a wad of long black hair. So I start looking in the shower and it doesn’t look clean at all. The counter tops in the main bathroom were filthy. The counter in the common room (with the sink) was disgusting. The floors in the main bathroom had a lot of dirt on them. The cabinet in the common that the tv sits on was pretty dirty also. Every counter or table surface we looked at was dirty which is something you don’t want to see when you’re traveling with your toddler who touches everything. The sink in the main bathroom did not drain hardly at all. The sink would fill up and overflow in the time it took for the water to warm up. So then I would have to turn the water off, let it drain, and start all over. This was super frustrating when trying to wash your face or brush your teeth. The tv in the bedroom did not work. It would turn out and say to check the connection then turn off.Anytime we took a shower, water would flood the floor and drench the bath mat outside of the shower.Again, this was our 4th time staying at this hotel within 3 and 1/2 years and this was our worst experience there. We will not be returning which sucks because we come to Birmingham every year.
Love the neighborhood with stunning landscapes and the fact that it is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of traffic. ?The hotel is very quiet, beautiful and pristine! I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a getaway in the most perfect secluded location. ? Our room was luxurious, the bed was comfortable…truly the best sleep! The entire staff is friendly, attentive, kind and greet you with a smile. The location is convenient to shops and restaurants but you will need a car since they are not within walking distance.Five star experience hands down! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is my second stay at this hotel. I love the neighborhood area. I love that it's tucked off location with little traffic. Parking is easy. The hotel is very quiet, clean, and welcoming. The employees are customer friendly and greet you with a smile. Nice covered outdoor area to sit when the weather is nice. Paid breakfast, dinner, and bar are nice. Convenient store type area right by the front desk. Food delivery services will meet you at your room if that is your preference. The pool and workout areas are nice and clean. Each floor has ice machines. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I travel to Birmingham often, and this has become my choice hotel.
The main argument for this hotel is its location, which is convenient to good restaurants and shopping, although the area gets zero starts in terms of pedestrian friendliness. The assumption is that you have a car, and intend to use it to go any distance farther than a few feet.Whoever designed the hotel clearly loved bright white LED's (perhaps they weren't aware that they are also available in warmer colors?). The lights in the lobby and the elevator area were constantly flickering, which a maintenance person confirmed was an ongoing problem. In the room, the only secondary lighting options were two harsh, directional LED lamps that gave the austere room a prison cell vibe at night.Further reinforcing the cell experience, the thermostat appeared to be non-functional, but the one in the unit at least allowed me to somewhat regulate the temperature. As per usual, Hilton Gold status seems meaningless here, but Diamond members have designated parking.Staff seemed friendly, and eager to help. The room was clean and functional, and the bed was comfortable, but the overall experience was decidedly 3-star.
Hotel in beautiful isolated area.Quiet.Very kind staff.Check in was without issue.Rooms slightly smaller than expected.Dirty sinks.Room Door malfunctioned- difficult to open and close- did not bother to change rooms as stay was short.Would book again.
Wonderful experience at this hotel! The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 on the room is because as a handicap accessible room, the toilet was too low and had no grab bar! Other than that, we were extremely pleased with this hotel, from the very friendly staff to the clean room and very comfortable furniture! Would highly recommend! Area was also very convenient! Keep up the good work!
