Stayed in room 402 from 8-9 til 8-11. Called the front desk around 830pm to inform them that the shower pressure was extremely low and the water wasn't getting hot. If you turned the knob to the left it was cold. Turned it to the right it would be luke warm. I was told "we have a full house and that's probably the reason for the low pressure and it not getting hot" I then asked if I could be switched to another room & I was told "we have a full house and they're no other rooms available". I then go on the Choice Hotel app and it's showing rooms available. Very disappointed in how this matter was handled. I've stayed at this property 4-5 times in the past few years. This will definitely be my last time..
This is absolutely the nicest motel we’ve stayed at… ever. And we travel a lot. We were greeted by Gyasi and what a “people-person”. Actually, everyone from the front desk personnel to the staff were super-friendly and went out of their way to be sure our stay was great. The room was awesome as well!!
Came to this Hotel after a very long drive from moving out of state. Extremely clean, comfortable and spacious rooms and a great location. But the best part of the whole stay was G (the front desk staff member) he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect with our stay. And after reading other reviews, I know others feel the same. Comfort Suites needs to promote this guy ASAP!! Could not be more impressed with the level of customer service he provided to me and my family! Thank you G!!! I will only recommend this hotel for any family or friends coming to visit from out of town!!
I’m always comfortable booking with comfort inns when I travel. Upon arrival everything seemed to be so modern and clean. Bye the time we got to the room I was stunned at how nice the room was and breakfast the next morning was also well prepared and put together. I would have expected the price for this room to be twice the price I paid. Nice job by all the staff
It has been a long time since I stayed in a hotel with such comfort, such cleanliness and such good staff. The man who greeted me at check-in was very friendly, he seemed to know me all his life and he made sure to ask us if everything was okay when he saw us again later. If everyone in the world were like him, it would be a better world to live in. 🥰
My wife and I stayed there on Feb 19, 2024. We were exhausted from a long day on the road and were greeted by a wonderful desk clerk. They had a room which we found to be clean, well appointed, quiet, and very comfortable. The location is new so the entire hotel had that fresh clean appearance along with a modern design not seen in other Comfort Suites locations where we have stayed. We had nice hotel breakfast there and were welcomed by the lady who had prepared it. On check-out, the new desk clerk was equally nice. Shout out to every staff employee we encountered there. Every one of them was clearly interested in the quality of our stay. Bill & Mary B, Chippewa Falls, WI.
I have been a member of Choice for a for a very long time.I've been to some nice ones however this one is super nice!Very clean & accommodating!Extremely pleased! The gentleman that checked my son & myself in is fabulous! He had the utmost respect with the best personality ever!He told me that everyone calls him "G".I am super impressed with his demeanor & attitude towards people. The owner of this establishment along with Choice are very lucky to have him!Highly recommended hotel!!I will return when I visit Greenville
We had a terrific storm as we were unloading into the hotel. Manager Kwame Davies was very helpful in getting me into the hotel with all of my things, wet as they were. The room was perfect for us. Clean, and all of the amenities were just right. You made it a perfect stay.
Great price, great location, and the service was even better. Very clean hotel. When we arrived the 2 at the front desk were very helpful. One of them named G was awesome. G gave the best service that we have ever received from a hotel and we travel often. G needs to give a customer training to a lot of people/businesses.
We just left Greenville this am and "G" at the front desk was outstanding. The facility was great but he made the experience fantastic. He is truly an asset to the facility as he goes above and beyond any customer service expectations. He is truly a keeper.Mike and Jody Sneed.
G aka the “guy with the bow tie” (as he said he is called), wowed us with his amazing hospitality. Warm, welcoming and friendly. He remembered our names every time we walked in the door. He was beyond helpful and kind. The rooms are JUST as you see them online (which can sometimes be VERY misleading). Clean. Modern. Smelled great from the second we walked into the hotel and our room did not disappoint either. The shower was amazing. The breakfast was great. Nice touch on the little market (albeit pricey, but it’s a hotel and it’s a 24 hour convenience so it was expected). When back in the area, we WILL stay again. This entire staff knocks it out of the park, but G takes the cake. Thank you!
The customer service and front desk workers! Wow they were absolutely amazing! We had a terrible situation happen to us at our home and they made sure we were all set and provided discounts were they could provide it! They made this situation less stressful. Some of the best workers I have ever encountered!Thank you so very much.Rooms and beds were clean and very comfy! The cleaning persons loved their job and really took care of the hotel like it was their own home! Passion and love for people is why this place was so very great!
I recently stayed at The Westin Poinsett to attend a conference in Greenville. From check-in to the moment I left, I was impressed. The staff were very helpful, the historic hotel is beautiful while also providing all the modern conveniences. Located in downtown Greenville, you are surrounded by great shopping, restaurants of all types and sizes, community art, and more. If you are planning a trip to Greenville, The Westin Poinsett is a great place to stay.
I was in Greenville on business and chose this hotel due to the proximity to our office. Charming, renovated old building with very friendly staff. They had already upgraded me to a suite, which was very spacious and well appointed with a large bathroom and a roomy shower that I prefer over tubs. The only reason for the 4 stars for the room is that the furniture was a bit tired and there wasn't a refrigerator in the room, so the nice welcome fruit and cheese platter they had in the room was spoiled the next day since I couldn't eat it all the first night! Oh, they also have a Nespresso machine in the suite, which is day and night compared to the usual joke of a coffee machine in most hotel rooms! The concierge was very helpful and recommended a fantastic pastry store (Old Europe), which I will review separately. It was a great option since I always bring treats for the attendees in my meetings. The restaurant/bar/piano bar is very charming, and the food and service are very friendly.
There's enough photos of this surfing around on the net. If I can remember, it's 11 floors worth of rooms. Very clean, very respectable and the parking was attached to a garage that cost 7 dollars for the day. Well worth it, as parking in Greenville can be aggravating. I'll definitely be back. It's location is dead center of the main strip so you're near everything!
Stayed here two years ago and the hotel was perfectly acceptable (but if you are frugal don't use valet parking--find some good self park options around!). The room was fine and we had a good view. If you are a Marriott elite member, the free breakfast is very good. However, when it came to rebooking at this hotel for my last visit last week, I didn't think it was worth staying here given the cheaper options nearby. Instead, I chose to stay at the Courtyard and saved a lot of money. I don't regret my decision. If you are a Marriott member, also look at the AC hotel. Those three are within a stone's throw of each other.
Great downtown locations. Stayed there while attending an event at the Peace Center and it’s less than a block away. It’s an older, historic hotel so the rooms, elevators, etc are fairly small and not as updated as some newer hotels but the staff was fantastic and absolutely the comfiest bed I’ve slept in. I’d stay again just for the bed. Staff was very attentive and quick. Room service delivered quickly, valet pickup was speedy. Would definitely stay again.
This is probably the first time in a long time that a hotel room wasn’t dry, noisy and the climate control was on point. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were a bit tall but I am a little sensitive to the right pillow. The bedding was clean and soft. The bathroom was just the right size with plenty of room. The ironing board a little beat up but the iron worked great. The room is lacking in drawer space if your stay is longer than a couple days. The staff was super nice and the location very convenient to downtown events and restaurants. The in house restaurant has a small but delicious breakfast buffet.
