Great service plus a very beautiful room that was very clean. Breakfast was included and it was a sit down, full service table delivered gourmet breakfast. Yummy. Also, the room had a fireplace that kept us all warm and cozy.
What a gem of a place! Everyone here is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is romantic and the rooms are wonderful. I woke up to hot air balloons and watched them from the balcony. The food is delicious and wines are superb. I came here during the winter and will have to return when the vines and grapes are growing. A beautiful château in the countryside that you will truly enjoy!
This was our first time staying at Churon. We usually frequent Carter Estates but wanted to try something different. The check in process was easy.We got 2 glasses of wine, a bottle and charcuterie board! So many perks! The room was very nice and had a fire place. The bathrooms were great as well. The view in the morning while drinking coffee was beautiful. We went over for the free complimentary breakfast and really enjoyed it.Our only critiques were that the string lights stayed on outside all night so our room was very bright. The curtains weren't fully black out.Needless to say we had a really lovely time and will definitely be back!
Such a Cozy winter retreat at the Inn at Churon Winery. We enjoyed our stay very much! The rooms are gorgeous and beds comfortable. Huge bathroom with a spa tub and separate sinks. We really enjoyed the fireplace and balcony with wonderful views overlooking wine country. Hot air balloons made an appearance on Saturday morning. Was a nice treat.
If I could give Inn at Churon 10 stars, I would!! Took a long weekend to spend my birthday in Temecula (first time visiting), and chose the Inn at Churon for my stay. I’m so glad I did. The staff is excellent - very kind and pleasant (thank you, Cesar and all front desk attendants!). They were so helpful with my planned and surprise birthday arrangements. The property, building, and rooms are charming and extremely clean. The bathroom is large and has beautiful marble finishings and the jacuzzi tub is a great touch. I stayed in a king room, with a view of the vineyards and it was stunning. The complimentary wine tickets for their winery are a nice perk. Also, get the breakfast everyday - it’s so good (and included with your stay!). The location is great and centrally located to many wineries in the area. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!
We were visiting Dana point to go whale watching and this hotel turned out to be the closest to the harbor where the cruises take off. The rooms are clean and comfortable; staff are friendly and responsive. Breakfast is included but could definitely do with a nutritional upgrade in terms of more vegetables. On the last day, some chopped vegetables were on offer besides the scrambled eggs which made for a much more nutritionally balanced and flavorful breakfast. Overall a positive experience.
Very overpriced for how run down it is. Our air conditioner was loud and humming the entire time. It also decided to error on us while we were out for the entire day and we came back to a sauna. Plugs all need replacing everywhere, our cords fell out no matter which ones we tried. House keeping came before 9:30am so we missed them for the entire day (they only swap out towels) They allow animals so we ended up with a barking/howling dog off our bedside wall. They don’t bother to ask you about your stay when you check out so they clearly don’t care how your stay was. Many rooms had out of order signs on them and it just felt dingy and desperately needs an update, especially for the price point. Location is good and breakfast buffet was good but other than that, I definitely wouldn’t recommend.
We loved our stay here! Me and my sister stayed, and she had her baby with her. The hotel provided a crib. Having the separate rooms was perfect- he slept in the other one. The beds were comfortable, my sister considered using the sofa pullout but it was not very comfy. The location is great! Just a quick walk to the beach, and a couple blocks from stores. Breakfast was awesome.
This place was one of my most FAVORITE places I've ever stayed at, ever. The suite we stayed in was incredible!!! It was so luxurious and even had a separate living room. For those nights, one person wants to go to bed, and another still wants to watch TV. All balconies face towards the street which overlooks the water in the distance. Fast food and Starbucks are right across the street, but don't look all run down. The area looks very updated and nice. I loved the full breakfast bar. It was like going to a buffet. They have a pool and gym, we didn't go to but that's nice. They also have computers and print abilities in the lobby. The beach is about a 5-7 minute walk away as well. This place deserved 10 stars! Staff was extremely friendly. We will definitely be back!!
This hotel is just OK as there is both good and areas for improvement. We were greeted during check-in by a friendly person behind the counter. The check-in process was smooth and we received a very nice gift bag with some treats to take to the room. The rooms themselves are clean and smelled good but have some definite aging. The bathtub is stained from extended use, the toilet paper holder is rusted and the door sometimes requires you to put you shoulder into it to get it open. The balcony on the two room suite has a nice view but the seating is so low that if you sit down, you look straight in to the cement wall. Maybe code prevents them from doing so, but high sitting furniture would be a welcome addition. Here’s the bad part. If you want your room cleaned everyday and your bed made, it isn’t going to happen. We requested numerous times for housekeeping to do so but it never happened. In addition, our towels were taken one day and they didn’t leave any new ones. The next day they took our towels but left us with fewer for some reason. I also requested a new liner for our ice bucket and we were given a giant garbage bag. To top it off, we went outside on our balcony one evening and the pot smoke was so thick from the people next door we had to go back inside. They have no smoking signs on the balconies but apparently it doesn’t do much good. Also, other neighbors were smoking (cigarettes) each morning outside just outside the entrance to the rooms. If you want a true non-smoking hotel, I’m not sure this is the place. The nicest thing about the hotel was the young lady that was working the breakfast area on Thursday morning. She went way out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and offered a lengthy list of things to see and do. I wish I would have gotten her name because she deserves a raise. We also had several of our cable channels go out during a football game and the maintenance guy who was doing the repair did everything in his power to get it back on. He couldn’t have been more helpful. The hotel is located a short walk from the shore and there are quite a few things to do in the immediate area including a 4 mile hike/walk which takes you through a conservation area, the beach, sea wall, and through an area with some gorgeous homes.Checkout was smooth and pleasant. Everyone at the counter was friendly and helpful. I’m sure it’s a leftover from the COVID era but the gigantic plexiglass between the staff and customers reminds me of a convenience store more than a hotel.
