Didn't spend the night. Used the lounge area for a Christmas party. Nicely decorated with lots to do, pool table, darts, shuffle board, and lots of board games. Throughly enjoyed the evening

Very clean cottage with full fridge/stove and dishwasher. Lots of dishes and cutlery for use. We stayed here for 6 days in November. I would imagine it is fantastic in the summer or warmer months. Our cottage was cold and we could never quite get the place above 16C no matter what we tried. In Nova Scotia they use "heat pumps" to control the climate inside homes which we have never seen before. We followed the heat pump instructions on the wall to the letter and the unit seemed to have a mind of its own even when we powered it off. All night long the heat pump played a chime almost like a ringtone on a phone. but thankfully 2 of the 3 baseboard heaters did work. The bathtub is great but takes about 20-30 minutes to fill. The shower was useless. The location is fantastic and just steps to groceries, gas and Tims. We travel quite a bit and used 7 hotels in November alone so we're not new to travel and at this business you can tell they really have no competition and they know it 🙂

Loved this spot! Our family booked a unit that very comfortably house 6 adults. The view off the verandah while sitting on the Adirondack Chairs was spectacular! Nearby Babdeck is very charming.

Wonderful stay. The hosts were lovely people and the accommodations were beautiful. The Bayfront patio is an absolute treat and the amenities at this place are great! Kayaks, canoes, paddle boats and even some fishing if you aren't like me and get it stuck on a tree! First time here, will definitely visit again. Highly recommend 🙂

The location of this resort is fabulous, with a beautiful relaxing view from the back deck/porch out onto the lake. We had plenty of space for the two of us to mill around inside the unit. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating.An extra bonus - the lounge area was very spacious with plenty of games to play including pool, shuffleboard, darts, and other assorted table games.We'll definitely stay here again!

This place is so charming, has a large bathroom with a stand-alone shower, and has a jet tub. The room itself is large and has a small kitchenette area and a big closet. Breakfast was provided.

Room was fine. The bathroom and jetted tub are the highlights however... They did not have a kettle, no hooks for hanging up coats etc. Also, the lock on the door isn't screwed on tightly and neither is the kitchenette faucet. Having a fan on a stand or a ceiling fan would eliminate the need for me to have the relatively noisy AC / fan running at night.

I never got the chance to review this place, so I will do it now.Me and my boyfriend stayed here in October of 2022. The location was incredible. The price was incredibly reasonable. The room was kept to a high standard of cleanliness. The history of the building was very cool. The bathrooms were updated and the jacuzzi tub was really nice. The breakfast service was wholesome and impeccable. The views were wonderful. The host is a lovely person and served us his homemade spring rolls. We had smoked salmon and eggs both mornings.If you are looking for an experience that encapsulates the history of this area, this B&B is ideal. It's a little creaky (as expected with historical buildings), but very well maintained. During our trip to N.S and P.E.I this was easily our favourite accommodation of them all.

My wife and I stayed in Lunenburg for one night and found Sail Inn through an online booking site. In short, we were absolutely blown away! The building is in the heart of old town, within walking distance of lots of great restaurants, and we had a great view of the harbour! The bedroom and bathroom were both quite spacious and (to our relief) we were able to keep cool using the room's AC unit on a particularly hot day. Our breakfast the next morning was super tasty (get a piece of the local smoked salmon if it's available!) and we had a nice chat with the owners who were super friendly.

Great historic building in a perfect waterfront location, a stone's throw from the boardwalk. The rooms are nicely renovated (but keep a traditional look and feel) and are spacious and comfortable, and the harbour view is great. The breakfast room at street level has the feel of an old Inn and tavern. Nice to see a B&B option like this centrally located among the variety of hotels immediately surrounding it.The owners are very friendly and the breakfast was delicious, with some unexpected options (hand made spring rolls, great locally smoked salmon.) Plush soft towels and deep soaker tubs in the bathroom, and kitchenettes in the rooms are nice if you're staying in town for a few days. You can settle in here comfortably.
