We had a great visit. While I am giving this a 5 star, it might not be 5 star for everyone. When reviewing a hotel, I place a lot of value on cleanliness, service and how well the amenities lived up to my expectations. We stayed two nights, so we had time to take advantage of the pool (great temp, not too much chlorine), the hot tub (great temp!), the breakfast (excellent variety) and the gym (small, not smelly). Everything we needed worked, the shower had great pressure, warmed up quickly. The wall unit was quite noisy. The toilet lid was a little loose and would fall against my back... but I didn't report it, so no points off for that. Seems little, but the halls and stairways didn't have that musty odor you sometimes get in an older building. The view from the window could have been better... it faced the back of a sign. All in all, it was a good stay and we got good value for what we paid. Side note - the beds were high off the ground... (I'm 5'5") and the pillows were a little too thick..
⚫🚍🚌It's that time of the year in Branson!! 💥BUSORAMA🎉BUSALICIOUS! 🚌🚍⚫ BRANSON is full w/ very happy seniors who travel in a huge pack on bus. Some just look basic & average. So are very fancy looking. Like stealth tour buses. The Grand Victorian has a huge breakfast buffet - as you can see it was standing room only at the best today! But it is a huge room and lots of food. 🎄🌰🦌It is decorated for Christmas BIG-TIME!! ❄️⛄😁🛷 That's the extent of my knowledge thus far!
We stayed 3 nights here. There were 2 adults and 2 children in our party. The bathroom was a little cramped, but the water pressure was great. The beds and linen were great and the hotel was so quiet! The hot breakfast was very good. We had eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal and very good coffee. Tea and cookies were available at 3pm everyday. The indoor pool was great, very clean. The staff all seemed like they cared alot. The workout room had weights from 10 to 50 pounds and a treadmill, elliptical and bike. I had it to myself each day. Very pleased all around.
The location is good. The front desk people are nice. The rooms are ok. The price is good. It’s noisy tonight - it’s 11pm and kids are playing air hockey across the hall in the game room. People are playing the piano in the lobby. Groups of kids are hanging out in the hallway talking.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Grand Victorian hotel. The rooms were very comfortable with a balcony to enjoy the view. I loved the style of the entrance to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable also peaceful to sleep.
We had a great time here and the continental breakfast was EXCELLENT! A huge variety of breakfast foods, hot and cold! Fresh cut fruit, eggs, ham, biscuits and gravy, juices, great coffee, waffles...etc. Great experience, would definitely stay there again ?
This was our second stay here. We absolutely love this Victorian style hotel! It’s super clean, beautiful and comfortable! Breakfast is great with plenty of good food & coffee with an assortment of creamers. Only complaint is gym isn’t the best but at least they have one.
Will not stay here again. On our first night there I reported that there were bugs in the bathroom sink & it took them 5 hours to respond. Even after doing what they did it did not get rid of them. I ended up stuffing a wash cloth in the drain to keep them from coming back. Day 1 & 2 our room was not cleaned & bed was not made. Day 3 bed made & towels & bath mat removed but no replacements left. Called for towels to be brought to the room & after nearly 2 hours ended up going down to desk to get them ourselves. Not what I expect for $167 a night
We love it here! So quiet and extremely clean! Everyone on the staff was so friendly. The woman that worked the breakfast room was so sweet and lovely to talk to. She takes great care of everything.
I am not a hotel snob. I just want a clean room, clean hotel, friendly and experience staff and free parking, Barrington covered all of that. It is in a great location and Tony who cleaned the third floor where I stayed did an outstanding job. This was my first trip to Branson and I will definitely be coming back and definitely be staying with Barrington. Thank you Barrington.
What a wonderful stay. The staff in all departments were extremely helpful, courteous, professional. Ashley at the front desk did an awesome job. The room was clean and just the right size. It was a handicap room which made it easy to take care of our personal needs. Great job also for hosting our 435th OMS Enroute military reunion. The hospitality room was great for the 40 folks that attended. My hats of to all of you.
The location isn’t bad if you want to get anywhere within 10 to 15 min. Nighttime dessert was good, breakfast was just ok, it’s nothing fancy at all and they need new waffle machines cause the ones they have are very burnt up and nasty looking. Rooms were pretty clean, only 2 pillows per bed is a little silly so we ended up getting 3 extra pillows. Beds are somewhat comfy. If you’re wanting a hot or even warm shower here think again. Our water never even got warm. Good thing our trip wasn’t very long. Needless to say I would give it a 2 out of 5 stars. Hot tub made me very itchy also.
First of all, the representative who helped with our reservation did a good job getting the details completed. I tried to make sure that the person knew of all of our needs. The only problem when we arrived was that our room needs were not exactly what we needed. But it worked out for the best. The cost to stay was very reasonable. The building is older but fine. The ventilation in our room was not good. The heating and cooling unit, although the thermostat was working, we could not get the fan to continually run and therefore the air was very stuffy. The beds and pillows were very clean and comfortable, and the room, including the carpets were fine. The bathroom was fine, although the sink faucet needs a little maintenance and there was no fan in the bathroom. They have a pool and a hot tub, which is nice. You have to walk up a few steps to get to the pool area. There is a wheelchair elevator, but it was out of order. They do have a breakfast buffet, which was great! However, it is on the third floor, which is not ideal, but they do have two working elevators. Over all, it was a good place to stay!
We stayed here during our one night get away for my sons birthday. They had some pretty good reviews and our normal hotel wasn’t an option. Breakfast was all very bland and blah. The eggs were sitting in water and even the apple juice and orange juice had a funny taste. Another guest even dumped his food and said he seen white flakes floating in his water. Our room wasn’t that bad. We enter the room and done a small walk through and there were Cheetos or some sort of left over food debris in the bed and on the comforter that had never been cleaned up. The pool was nice and warm and they gave out free ice cream and cookies. The rooms do stay very dark so that’s a plus but the air/heat in our room was wonky. I definitely don’t see us returning in the future..mainly due to the food in the bed.
My family had a good experience! Staff was very friendly, rooms pretty clean, and good breakfast offered along with dessert at night. Coffee bar open all the time in the lobby.Location is not on strip and little further but decent.Indoor pool and hot tub basic but available for everyone to enjoy!
Stayed here with friends for a weekend. The desserts at night were a nice surprise i've never seen anywhere else. The room we stayed in had excellent blackout shades on the windows. Clean beds. Large bathroom. The only thing missing was the in room microwaves, they have one in the hall by the elevator on each floor. The breakfast selection was really great lots of different things and constantly being managed by staff. Coffee and ice water down by the front desk.
Stayed here for our honeymoon for a quick getaway..not knowing what to expect. The hotel is very clean, friendly staff, very cozy and has a private feel to it. We stayed in a jacuzzi suite with a balcony and it was the best time!! Thank you to the hotel and staff for giving us a great experience!!! Can’t wait to stay again
