This hotel is a perfect example of “you get what you pay for”. It’s great on your wallet, budget friendly, but you are getting a hotel that also feels budget friendly. The beds are ok, not very comfortable compared to hotels that are a step above. Pillows were absolutely terrible. We stayed for 3 nights and had to go out and buy pillows as the ones provided are terrible for your neck and back. The hotel and rooms are very outdated and always have just kind of a musty smell. Likely due to old carpet, bedding, furniture and window treatments. Please note, they do not offer housekeeping during your stay unless you request specific items from there that you might need. They do offer free breakfast, but it’s hotel breakfast. There’s typically an egg dish and some sort of sausage or potatoes. Then bread, bagels and muffins, cereal and oatmeal. Waffle makers was probably the best part of the breakfast. Please ensure you ask what time breakfast is served for each day of your stay. We got kicked out with our young children because they were getting ready to close it up. We had gotten all our food and sat down but they didn’t want us to stay to finish our food.Location of the hotel is nice. It’s right by the highway and close to lots of places to eat and shopping.Overall I wouldn’t stay again. There are way too many other hotel options in the area. The price for what you get was not worth it to me in my opinion.

Located on a busy main street, access to and from The Inn was extremely easy. The lodging has ample parking and outside lighting is reasonable. Our stay was to be 2 days over Christmas Eve & Day, but for reasons I will explain; we left after one night. Generally speaking, the positives far outweigh the negatives. The facility is very large; it may take a few minutes to find your way around the hallways, pool, lobby (from your room), etc.The lobby is relatively small but checking in was simple and quick and the reception staff were friendly and capable. Our room was well maintained, the beds were comfortable, 3 pillows per queen bed, nice lighting, numerous outlets for electronic equipment and the like, a spacious bathroom included an excellent shower and ample counter space. The room has a single brew coffee maker, a refrigerator, and a television with quite a few channel selections. The breakfast area was well stocked and had most items anyone would want for choices. This area is one their best attributes. One special note: Many locations we've stayed have still faintly smelled of cigarette smoke even if noted as "Non-Smoking" rooms. This lodging had NONE of those smells; the room was clean and fresh smelling. Kudos to the cleaning staff for this.Unfortunately, we were given a room right next door to a group of 4 young people (no parents in sight. Probably lodging somewhere else in the building). The kids; I'm guessing all under 16, were just too much for us. From 6:30 PM til 1:30AM they were noisy, banging, door slamming, cranked-up TV volume loud...I did call the front desk and although for a brief period the noise was more subdued, it didn't last long. We had spent many hours driving that day and just didn't have the energy to pack up everything to ask to move to another room. I was quite miffed that the staff would place us next door to these children who had no supervision (the lodging was not even marginally full). The following morning I asked for the general manager, but being a holiday, he was not in that day. Given that we didn't want another night of our next door neighbors or to move to another room, we left after one night and found another quieter place to sleep Christmas night. I understand these were just kids being kids on Christmas Eve; I'm not a scrooge. But lodgings are mostly for travelers who want to SLEEP. Staff should be more conscientious of where they place older people. Nuff said.

Had a great time. The hotel was nice and clean, hot tub & pool were great, the breakfast was very good. Only problem is that I got called about 10 seconds after opening the futon so one of my family members could sleep on it by the front desk telling me we got a noise complaint. Considering that the people next to us had a dog barking most of the day and night, I don’t think it was right of them to complain about us. But I guess some people don’t have much to live for lol. Other than that, definitely will stay there again and highly recommend it.

Absolute gem of a place. Wonderful rooms and decor. Fantastic breakfast and very nice evening wine socials too. Right in the heart of downtown Cedarburg, walking distance to everything there!!! Total pleasure!! This is one of our few most favorite birthday and spontaneous get away spots!!!
Very nicely located in the middle of all the little shops nearby. The rooms are a bit small, without much storage space, but the beds were very comfortable and I loved having a tub and fireplace in the room. The breakfast is great, especially if you’re like me and hate getting up and getting dressed to go to a restaurant first thing in the morning. 😅

Rooms very romantic and the entire building tastefully decorated. The sheets are unbelievably soft and comfortable. The rooms can be a little cluttered with too many chairs. Bathrooms and showers were a bit small especially counter space but adequate for one or two nights. Each night there were both red and white wines during social hour or your choice of coffee or tea along with hors d'oeuvres. All during the day there was an ample supply of hot drinks plus a coffee cake from local shops. If you have difficulty walking or doing stairs recommend that you reserve a room with a bed and whirlpool tub all on the same level.

We visited there around the middle of June this year. Great time! Very helpful reception at front desk and with wine/cheese. Convenient EV charging. We enjoyed watching one of their movie DVDs, selected from their list. Cute / cozy room. Location is great with sorbet ice cream option next door, and 5-min to Riverwalk was super nice during sunset. Scones / room service including gluten / dairy free options tasted amazing. Great customer experience. Thank you!

We stayed at the Washington House for a mother - daughter getaway. We were warmly welcomed. The Inn is lovely, the historic atmosphere was so nicely preserved. The rooms and all public areas were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the wine and cheese social hour that was offered. The location is ideal, we walked everywhere we wanted to go. I would highly recommend staying here!

Loved our stay here - the staff were very accommodating & the historical charm of the place was what attracted us. The room was nice and cozy & the hotel's food & drinks were a very nice touch. Warning: the plumbing may have been grandfathered in with mixing valve requirements - got scolded by the water a couple times so proceed with caution on drawing a bath! The only complaint we had was parking was scarce and had to park down the street. Even though there's a dedicated lot, it filled quickly.
