Bad experience. Arrive to our room we were given and it smells like someone had been smoking cigarettes inside the room the entire day before we arrived. The listing stated the hotel was smoke free and allergy safe. Well someone for sure was smoking in the room. We tried to air it out after being told by the front counter Staff that there was no other room available. So it was either have 3 of us sleep in a Crampt car or endure the stank of the previous residents... Pool area wasn't much better as they have a pipe fly infestation which was pretty gross having flying around the room. All in all the hotel Is clearly lacking love, it seems they are trying to do lobby renovations but it just made the stay that much more unpleasant. Overall I wouldn't recommend staying here, if you can find a room in one of the many other nearby hotels I'd advise you to stay there.P.S the generic chatgpt replies on these past poor reviews just keep repeating themselves so it shows no effort to fix the issues here are in place.
Stayed there for a night back in November of 23 and absolutely loved it , stayed again last night (Jan.20) and it was great until early morning apparently letting 3-4 kids run around in the halls and be very loud at 7:30 am on a Sunday is acceptable then someone on their cleaning staff thought it was a good idea to run the vacuum in the hallway at 9am on what was supposed to be a peaceful Sunday morning but nope they don’t care about the guests all they care about is money! Back in November the breakfast was very good but not this time , I wouldn’t have fed it to a stray dog!
We stayed at the Hampton Inn Watertown while travelling through upstate New York around New Years. We were a family travellingIt was a great stay. The breakfast was really good with a lot of variety. Also, the snack bar had everything you might need. The room was a bit small but was realyl clean
The staff are amazing, friendly, and helpful. Great breakfast and good coffee. Pool was nice and the beds were pretty comfortable. Room was clean, but ours smelled a bit like stinky feet, probably from a previous pet. Overall it was a great hotel and we would stay there again. Make sure you hit up jrecks while you're there!!
Needed a much deserved break. This is the second time we stayed here. The Woodview Inn exceeded our expectations by providing very personal service by John and Steve; the Owners. The dining room as well the whole inn was tastefully decorated for the Christmas season. The dinner on Saturday was suburb. Our room with ensuite was well appointed and very comfortable, clean and we loved it staying here. George and I really loved our stay at the WoodView Inn, we hope to come back next Spring.Thank you very much to John, Steve and Melanie our server and April - housekeeping.
Was there for dinner with somebody staying in the hotel. Food and service were both outstanding.A beautifully decorated and unique atmosphere that inspires relaxation and a feeling of being pampered.A classy place that I would recommend to my friends and family.
We booked the Inn through expedia for our anniversary weekend. We were not disappointed. The main house and the rooms were beautiful and clean, the owners were polite, happy, and remembered our names for the entire weekend. ( Trust me that is a big deal). The breakfast coolers had fresh fruit, homemade muffins and croissants, and I would highly recommend reserving a time for their in house restaurant. The food is to die for, it may be expensive but you only live once, and it does not disappoint.Overall fantastic stay.
Beautiful Inn that surpassed our expectations. The Inn itself is luxurious with incredible attention to detail. It is in a fantastic location for walking. We left our car all weekend. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We were definitely pampered. We dined in the Graydons restaurant Saturday night. Food was wonderful and the service amazing. We will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful stay ( unfortunately too short, we would have loved to stay longer!)Our room was cozy, warm, you can see everywhere the attention to details.I had the pleasure to have my breakfast in the dining room ( lovely room). It doesn’t happen very often to stay in a welcoming building that has more than 100years, refurbished with such care and quality. In the morning we received outside our room a cooler box with our premium breakfast!I had the opportunity to talk with the two hosts: such niece people and you could see the passion the put into their work!I would definitely stay here if I swing by again! All perfect!
