The staff seemed overwhelmed and the hotel is outdated. The coffee available was consistently cold and the breakfast was terrible. There were more than one occasion where people were partying and exceptionally loud. Also, the hallway stunk of Marijuana on more than one occasion. I did not feel safe here and will not be booking here again. I am an HIG member for years and am considering my membership with poor state of hotels.

The exceptional accommodations of this hotel weren't what encouraged me to write a review on the overall amenities of this establishment. Rather, it was to my surprise that a member of the staff provided me a welcoming first impression and furthered my initiative to return at a later date of visitation due to the zealously outstanding efforts on their behalf. Ensuring that I remained comfortable, appreciated, and provided the pinnacle of customer service, there is one gentleman that I must regard with gracious respect for attending my needs far and beyond the requirements of their duty.This impeccable representation of highly respectable commitment was by none other than a employee of the name, Brandon Reed. If it were not for his determination to include me in this hotel's luxurious provisions for its customers and all that it offers, I may have never recognized one of the most suitable locations for a temporary vacation.I won't dilute this notion with excessive detail as to how or why but what I will say, is that when I do return to this resort vocation; it is him that I desire above all others to still reflect the remarkle service I experienced this day.

Do not stay here. Not sure what happened, I have stayed before but this most recent visit was a train wreck. The lesson learned: Pick your rate, pick your fate.1. First room, #220, smelled like chlorine. It was all you smelled was chlorine. I believe it always smells like that and staff just accepts it and doesn't expect customers to complain because they may not travel with their family. However, staff happily gave us another room.2. Second room, #420, smells like urine. Old urine. The entire room was a locker room at some point, or..... an entire water bottle of urine in the closet! Awesome. How does anyone miss that? My wife was done, I returned to the front desk, AGAIN for another room.3. Third room, #424, had a smell, but we purchased air deodorants and were too exhausted to find another room or hotel.4. NO OFFER OF A REDUCED RATE OR REFUND.NOTHING TO MAKE THIS FAILURE AND EXPERIENCE WHOLE FOR THE CONSUMER. More embarrassing is that I am not a tourist, Norfolk is my hometown, we were there visiting my folks, and another bonus, our son is sick after the trip and who's to say if the garbage air contributed? We all have good questions. Next time, we'll just spend more to get more.You pick your rate, you pick your fate.Also, when called to complain, the call was cut off! Well, consumers have a voice and not all capital is cash, some capital is reputation.

I was an out of town visitor and my stay here was pretty nice. The room we stayed in was pretty and the beds quite comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and the complimentary coffee was really good. Also enjoyed getting in a good workout in their fitness center. I had to take off one star because our bathroom tub appeared to be a little dirty. There was a ring and long hairs in the tub but luckily I had Clorox wipes. Also the water did not drain properly so there was standing water in the tub while showering. Other than this one incident the hotel is very nice.

I didn't care for the way the room was designed. I wish we could control the air temperature more than we could. But with that being said, I would stay there again just because the staff was excellent! Apparently, a lot of guests during the time I stayed had to reactivate their key cards for some reason. But the staff handled it very calmly and was always very attentive when I had to visit the front desk. Never once did I ask any staff member for anything and they were rude. They went above and beyond! I was just in love with the staff.

Giving 4 only because of a few things, pool was cool, hot tub didnt work, door lock on room didn't work well, had to go to desk in swimsuits and cold, to get cards recharged,, breakfast is not part of stay, still, room was nice with all amenities and staff were very pleasant, also great location depending upon what you're there for. Also got great deal. So a few repairs and it's a 5.

Fair price and FREE PARKING.Went to Hotel-Tonight app and got really good price $107.Service is good.Parking is limited on weeknights .Room was clean with nice TV w/ many channels, including movie channels. Lots of things to do or eat in the immediate area.Street-side room is a little noisy.

For business I have stayed in hotels all over the globe for over 20 years. I don’t feel like positive feedback is given enough, but I felt that it needed to be shared. As an executive for a multimillion dollar company with managers and employees I am responsible for, I know good employees are hard to find during these times. Bryce at the front desk was absolutely amazing to deal with from day 1 at check in. He also helped me extend my stay. He was also very outgoing and talkative even when he was off the clock and leaving for the day. He is probably the best employee I’ve dealt with at a hotel in the last 20 years. He has a great personality and is very professional and also a real person at the same time which I appreciate. I hope you realize what you have and recognize and compensate him for his worth. He certainly deserves it! Hilton garden inn towns center Va beach.

Typical 3 or 3-1/2 star hotel. In room coffee, microwave, and fridge. Decent mattress. Clean, reasonably-updated bathroom. Climate control was fine. Carpet seems a little dated. Parking is limited or across the street. Breakfast buffet for an additional fee. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and stores. Silly business practice that they collect an extra $25 upon check-in for incidentals. WHAT incidentals?

Bryce at the front desk is the absolute friendliest and most customer focused worker I have come across. He went above and beyond to help me with an issue I was having. I needed help getting my Hilton Honors set up. Bryce answered all of my questions, even the ones he wasn't sure about. He took the time to figure put exactly what I needed to know, thanks to Pamela!!! He has a very pleasant personality and is very efficient! I ended up staying at the greenbrier location, which was nice. The staff was exceptionally helpful and were very attentive to my needs...wonderful customer service, can't wait to stay at their Town Center location, so I can buy then dinner or something!!!

I have stayed here many times over the past 2 years and can attest to the convenient location with many restaurants available within walking distance! The staff are amazing from the GM Carlos to the front desk personnel Bryce and Gabbie.
