Ridiculously cool place to stay! The hotel is like a museum, it felt out of time. Decorations were super cool, and in an easy spot to access town and touristy spots. The breakfast was the yummiest breakfast I have had at any hotel I have ever stayed at. I will be dreaming about the crepes Christine and Paul made for us until the end of time. Thank you Christine, Paul, and others for a great stay!
My wife and I have stayed here 3 times. The breakfast is always fresh and delicious with beautiful presentation. Our favorite breakfast choices are the omelettes and ALL the crepes. Our favorite room is the Senator Spa Room. All the little things make this place magical. Historical items, décor, the best food, warm and friendly service. Christine is a wonderful and attentive hostess. A passion to provide a pleasant and enjoyable stay is evident in every aspect of how this gem of a bed and breakfast is hosted. You will love your stay here, I promise.
This was our second trip to the Heber Senator B&B, and it was a 5-star repeat experience. This was a ski trip, and it has easy access to Park City and Deer Valley. The rooms are nicely done and there is a welcoming dining/reading/gathering room. Christine, the hostess, is super flexible and very accommodating of special requests. Chef Paul’s made-to-order breakfasts are fantastic. I REALLY appreciated the afternoon cookies. We’ve met wonderfully interesting people both times we stayed there. Looking forward to next year’s trip!
Unbelievable. The home sits in the heart of Heber and was a great anniversary getaway. The home itself was built in 1902 and the restoration retains much of the charm of the old while updating with modern amenities. The price was very reasonable when compared to Salt Lake or PC hotel, resorts. The Senator Spa room was beautiful. The climb to the third floor was well worth the spacious, well decorated room.Everything was wonderful. Great communication, easy check in, and very straight forward.Breakfast took it to the next level.Christine was super friendly and eager to make our stay complete. The crepes were out of this world. The blueberry crumble crepe was something I didn't expect. It was out of this world tasty.I suspect , weekend getaways, mid week Murder Mystery dinner at the Inn may be on the making. This was a last minute, not planned, trip that far exceeded expectations.
Our stay was excellent! The room was cozy, full of charm, clean, and stocked with amenities. We felt relaxed and well taken care of throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the made-to-order breakfast served on the main floor which boasted all sorts of architectural treasures and delights. The staff was so friendly and took time to have a pleasant conversation with us while our food was cooking. Perhaps no one else will find this to be a plus, but we loved the Darigold brand butter served with the homemade breakfast muffins! It added that extra touch of class and quality. We visit the Heber/Midway area every winter and will definitely be staying here again.
We had a wonderful stay!! The room was clean & comfortable, the food was delicious, the hosts were friendly & welcoming, and the location was easy to find and convenient to other activities. We will definitely be coming back for another stay! Thank you!
The Heber Senator B&B was an ideal stay! Wonderful guests, professional & friendly management like Christine and sociable & stellar chefs like Paul who have travelled the world themselves and brought it back to their conversation and the table! I promise you will have some amazing crepes and egg dishes at this historic home from 1902 … including (if in season) a lemon 🍋 blueberry 🫐 crepe that rivals the tastiest cafe — from Paris, Texas 🇺🇸 to Paris, France 🇫🇷. Taste it and find out yourself. The rooms are quiet, many-windowed, and well lit. The place has an appealing scent in it the moment you walk in, and has been renovated for what modern guests would like. The only catch is that the word is out about this little gem. I booked 3 months in advance to get the Tiffany suite, and was lucky to snag it. It is possible that you may get more flexible conditions here and a less expensive stay if you do not book through Expedia and Booking for this B&B (that’s what I have learned to do).Enjoy your travels in gorgeous Utah and your time at the cozy Heber Senator B&B.
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at this quaint bed and breakfast. Our room was very comfortable and clean and everyone was super friendly. The breakfast crepes were INCREDIBLE. We especially loved the savory crepes. We had Le Petit and the American. Both were delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants a nice, quiet getaway!
It is hard to express how amazing this place is. This literally feels like home away from home. Hosts, specially Christine, are so warm and welcoming that you would not feel that you are actually away from your home. We went to celebrate our honeymoon for 3 nights and 4 days. But after staying for 2 days, we altered our further bookings and extended our stay with them for few more nights. It actually felt that we were living with our family. That is the best thing about this place that you don't feel that you are staying at a hotel or any other commercial property. Just like many other reviewers, I also believe that their breakfasts are to die for. Paul, who is the breakfast chef, makes some out of the world quiche and eggs Benedict. Also, the location is perfect to drive by nearby cities and picturesque locations. Can't wait to visit them again.
I will definitely be staying here again and recommending it to my family and friends. The whole experience was truly wonderful. The Room was clean and welcoming, we stayed for my birthday and did the added flower bouquet and dipped strawberries it was such a great addition. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. You won’t be disappointed with you stay! Book Now and Enjoy!
The service was fantastic, the room was clean, and we absolutely loved the breakfast! There were so many lovely, surprise touches that made this feel extra special, especially for a place that is on the more affordable side of b&b's. Also, even though the home is more than 100 years old, it is well updated, which gives it old charm but modern conveniences (like a bathroom fan, which even some newer hotel rooms don't have).
My husband and I recently spent 4 nights at the Heber Senator B&B as a short distance getaway. We enjoyed every minute there. Its location is perfect for short walks to Main Street shops and eateries. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the history of the house is reflected beautifully in its decor. Best of all was Shari’s delicious breakfasts and Mark’s graciousness as co-host. We shall return!!
My husband took me here for our 30th wedding anniversary. Every member of staff we encountered made us feel special and it felt like they were all happy to be there. Our suite was beautifully appointed with a wood burning fireplace in the living room and hot tub on the balcony. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, especially the bacon and cheese blintzes but everything was tasty and flavorful. The lunch is also a winner from the power salad bowl to the burger and the lunch buffet where we enjoyed the elk chili. We rented skis on site and found the ski valets to be super helpful with boots and skis. I have nothing negative to say about our stay. I'm already planning to go back every anniversary
Restaurant specific review; bad dinner experience. This place masquerades as fine dining but is a meager restaurant at best. Service was so slow that it took us multiple hours to finish a basic dinner and several menu items were extremely tart and unbalanced in flavor. Take your money elsewhere….restaurant is scraping by on reputation
4.5 - We are currently staying at the Stein Eriksen Lodge as we have a tradition every Mothers Day weekend to stay somewhere with the kids (5 kids) in Park City. It did not disappoint! We walked into our room and we were immediately WOWED. On top of the rooms high end finishings the view of Deer Valley was second to none! So much space! The Service has been 5 star service 100%. Very kind and professional. We were able to experience the Mothers Day Brunch Buffet which was maxed out and busy with locals. Kids loved the Arcade Champions Club experience. I am highly considering brining back my executive team here for a leadership retreat experience. Why the deduction in the review? My wife and I were extremely sweaty at night due to the thermostat temperatures being locked in at 71-75 degrees. It was definitely governed and had to crack the back deck door open which kept us awake all night from the high winds at night. For 5 Star the beds were very stiff. The TVs are outdated and struggled to keep service every 10 minutes. Lastly, this one might seem funny but the toilet paper was as thin as it gets. Gas stations even use thicker toilet paper ?We were told many times that the Resort just re opened about 10 days ago and I wonder if some of the down falls derive from just re- opening. Overall great experience
Wonderful hotel, excellent restaurant/bar but if you are looking for a place to hold an event in Park City, Stein Eriksen is the place. They have a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces that can accommodate anything from a small group to larger corporate and weddings. Great group of people!
I had the most incredible Experience at the restaurant lodge. Jeanine the manager set us up in the most beautiful Alpineglobe to celebrate my engagement! It was magical and breathtaking! Our waitress Elizabeth was phenomenal. I highly recommend this place and I will absolutely be back!
We went to the restaurant. The service and food were great. My son loved the chess and checker boards they had out in the lobby. He also enjoyed the huge tree and ginger bread house.
