Had a work related expo in the mesa convention center … this hotel is nearby, service, rooms and amenities are excellent. They have a decent continental breakfast 😉
Overall this isn’t bad. The room is spacious. The AC is a wall unit and could be better. Everything is just a bit old which is why it’s getting 4 stars. For $250 a night I’d expect a bit more polished.
My family and I stayed at the Hyatt to attend spring training games at Sloan Park. We made the reservation through a third party. Check in was very easy. Our room was on the first floor near the fitness room and ice machine but it was still very quiet. Room was a nice size and we had everything we needed. Housekeeping is only every other day which is fine with us. I liked that we had real mugs for coffee and glasses for water. I also like that the toiletries are in large dispensers in the shower, not a bunch of little bottles to throw away. Breakfast was included and was very good. Real plates, bowls and silverware, which is much more pleasant and less wasteful. Lots of options, including fruit and eggs and oatmeal with toast or bagel. Not just a lot of packaged sweets. We used the hot tub every day and enjoyed. My biggest gripes are the ones I have with almost every hotel: the room will not get cool enough to sleep under the bedcovers they provide and the bed was not as good as the (10+ year old) mattress at home.
Clean large rooms, and friendly staff...great complimentary breakfast with ample choices...buffet style eating. Great location for us working there...also in you're a Spring season baseball Cubs fan minutes away as is Bass Pro and a variety of good eating establishments. Will be our go to place when visiting again. However could use some USB outlets plugs so if you forget your charger you can still charge your phones. Was surprised they didn't have any as most places we stay at do have them even if they are built into a lamp or wall plug.
Wonderful hotel, with great concierge service, and very accommodating. Our room was beautiful, with perfect temperature. They offer a continental breakfast in the morning which is great. The pool is awesome. Overall, we were impressed. I'm sure we will stay there again.
No complaints! Able to easily get a last minute room, staff was friendly, check-in was quick, rooms were clean, ice machine worked, and they had sheets, a blanket and pillow for the pull out couch in the closet (other hotels we have had to call and wait to have it dropped off). Also down the street from Walmart, movies, and other store but still not a packed area, was quiet, and felt safe. Would stay here again!
Nice staff, clean, comfortable room with a great view. Pool was warm enough for a swim during December, and was very clean. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of delicious and healthy options. My only complaint was that the heating/cooling system was a bit loud, as was the plumbing, with various whooshing sounds in the walls during the night.
Nice hotel that lived up to my expectations! The pool and hot tub were very inviting for someone escaping the cold Canadian winter. The front desk service was friendly, and breakfast was quite tasty - I liked that they varied the options each morning. The room was clean and well maintained, and there were plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance.
I stayed March 19 thru March 22.I let the person at the desk know that the heat was not working in my room. The room was cold. He said that I had to wait until the next morning because they were book for the night. He would have let the manager know in the morning. I talked to the manager the next morning and was told that maintenance would look at the heater. No one came to my room. I talk to the same guy about the heat. He said that day shift should have move me to another room and there was no room again for him to move me to. I gave me a tiny heater. I don't try to bring to anyone attention anymore because it seemed like they just didn't care that a customer had an issue
Had an awful experience at this hotel.Groups of children from sports leagues left unattended in workout rooms throwing equipment around.Alerted main desk because we were concerned about the children getting hurt or breaking something and the manager on duty did absolutely nothing. Also had a terrible experience in the pool with groups of boys throwing balls and hitting my 2 year old daughter and laughing. Parents did absolutely nothing. We have stayed at Marriotts all over the country and never had such a rude experience. Do not stay here with small children or to relax away from large groups of rude children and drunk parents ignoring their children. We were in town for a declining elderly family member and it was not the environment we needed to be in.When my mother asked the boys to stop throwing medicine balls around and goofing around they laughed at her and their father called her fat.ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. This location needs to find better management that will step in when guests are being rude and unsafe.ALWAYS CROWDED WITH UNSUPERVISED PRETEEN SPORTS LEAGUES.
This hotel has great tasting food though you mighty pay an extra penny for it. The few meals I did purchase were delicious and I actually was able to share a piece from each plate. They also provide a free shuttle/van that will take u anywhere to and from within 3 miles of the hotel free of charge! Try their avocado spread. Try their salsa too.
Good location!Wonderful service!Comfortable rooms!Excellent service! Was greeted with a smile at the front desk. Taylor checked us in, scheduled us a shuttle to the airport, and made my husband and I feel at home! After a long day of travel we were grateful to find a cozy room with all the amenities needed. The bed and pillows were high quality, the AC was quiet, and the shower hot!My only complaint would be the shower. There was yellow mildew in the cracks, it has textured walls and looks like it has not been cleaned thoroughly.Besides that I give this hotel 5 out of 5!
Simple to say, it was robbery. We got our deal 6 months in advance, but then they added 500$ more because rates between them and government changed. Not sure how is that my problem. If i knew I wouldn’t book there.
Stayed here for one night. Location is convenient and close to many restaurants. The room was clean and well maintained. Staff was courteous and helpful. I was disappointed that the hotel did not provide a complimentary breakfast.
We did not get the 2 rooms we booked with connecting doors.Did not get the extra pillows either.Room ac noisy. Front desk staff unhelpful and indifferent. Coffee concept expensive. Another poor stay at this concept…
I was very disappointed at the lack service from the hotel staff. Some of my friends and family were told about the times for the restaurant, along with things in the area. Also, we were told they would service our room every other day. I call down for the day our room should have been service to ask if they could clean our room. We were told, very rudely, you are on the list. We were gone all day (7 hours) and no service was completed in our room. It is very frustrating to pay these higher prices of rooms, dining and parking when we or the services aren't being treated as such. The location was great for what we needed the hotel for. The bedding wasn't the greatest. Smaller beds and softer pillows.
Stayed the night to be close to the airport as we had an early flight the next morning. Shuttle was nice and on time.Checking in I had to wait for receptionist to stop scrolling on social media, even after saying hi, when she was done she checked us in and handed us the room keys then walked away without saying a word.We got to room it was clean. After getting settled in setting up bed/ pullout from the couch, it had nasty stains. Looked all over room for extra bedding. There was none. Called the front desk and spoke with the lady who checked us in. After answering the phone the first time I called and saying please hold then putting me on hold before I could respond I waited for 10 minutes (room phone had a speaker phone, which was nice to use while on hold). I called back, and she answered again. She sent bedding up, and it arrived quickly. We went to the Hotel starbucks / bar for a drink, and kids grabbed ice cream. When room charging it, the front desk lady was making fun of another guest, to me, who had a problem with the treadmill (it seemed like this guest had been at the hotel in January and had same issue and was upset that it was not corrected). While laying down to sleep, the room above must have been occupied by WWE wrestling superstars.Seems like a lot of negative as I'm typing, and over it was not the best hotel stay. I have had worse hotel stays, but kids were happy, and wife was unaware of staff problems. This was our 4th or 5th stay here, and if there is another hotel close to the airport, we might try that one next time
My husband and I are not very impressed. First told staying at a Mariotte. We got the suite which okay the space was great, 2 tvs. But for how much we paid... absolutely never again. No complimentary breakfast, and one MAIN thing we looked forward to there was the pool and jacuzzi and they were BOTH down. When I expressed my concern they just said yeah we've been trying to fix it. We'll I still paid the full price for these things! Our kids were looking forward to it. We all got in our swim suits and went down just to feel super cold water in pool and jacuzzi.Very disappointed
