Lovely location and staff. Beautiful hotel but definitely felt a little dated. Rooms could definitely use a refresh. Another small thing, would be so nice to have a nespresso machine in the room.
Tucked away off the beaten Financial District track, is this splendid hotel that offered first class service. We came here for drinks at the MO Bar - which was our second time, as we had been to the one in Singapore. The service and setting was beautiful. The hotel was incredibly maintained, with very polite staff and our server at the bar helped us with recommendations of places to go. A beautiful view overlooking the bar, with the sunshine hitting the right spot, made it more luxurious.Great spot for drinks and chill. I am sure a stay here is just as incredible too.
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary in July and loved our gorgeous room with a private balcony and incredible views. The pool was heated to a comfortable temperature and lit up for a very cool experience swimming with a view of the Miami skyline after dark. The amenities were impeccable, the service professional and friendly, and the location unbeatable. We'd love to return soon!
Mandarin Oriental is my favorite hotel in Miami. It is located in Brickell Key across from Brickell city center. It was love at first sight in August 2021. Since then I have chosen to stay again in July and December 2022. Everyone in the hotel is attentive, detail-oriented, passionate, helpful, and professional. They treat MO members very well: each stay members can select two out of eight perks (breakfast, spa credit, fast WiFi……). Each corner of the hotel is well maintained even it was built years ago. I highly recommend the breakfast. It is the most well curated breakfast I ever had in the USA. The service is impeccable. The coconut by the pool is also a must. Yoga on the beach elevates the experience to another level. The location is private and ‘isolated’ from the crowd.See you soon, Mandarin Oriental!
From the moment I arrived every staff member was extraordinarily professional and kind. The place is amazing with great views. The outside bar has a perfect ambiance. The bar/restaurant inside is u not to be missed. I was lucky enough to have been helped by Jose, who went out of his way to get me a cocktail I requested. The sushi roll I had was one of the best I’ve ever eaten…impeccable quality. Thanks to everyone involved in making this place run; it was my first time here but it will not be my last. Thank you!!!
Situated on the Brickell Key in Miami with amazing water views. We got a Bay View Room on the 7th floor. Has a walk out balcony. Room and washroom were luxurious. Beds are comfy. Showers are fantastic. Service is top notch. First time at the Mandarin and won't be the last.
Was in town and wanted to stop by haul over inlet and check out the walk along the jetty. So I decided to take my girlfriend to the Ritz for a late lunch and what a pleasant surprise the food was. They had a halibut ceviche that was awesome, and then we had some octopus along with scallops. Food was very good. The service was very good. my waiter Marissa she did a fantastic job. Plus it’s got a beautiful view of the Inlet/Ocean.
We were just by the Ritz the other day. From the moment we walked in til we checked out, we were all treated like royalty. The place was spotless, quiet, amazing customer service. The view from our bathroom tub was breathtaking. I spilled my coffee in the morning and the server ran over to bring me another one and apologize, not to make me feel bad. We had such a great experience with our 2 kids there. We definitely will be back! Thank you to all the staff there who really made us feel like we were on vacation. We were at a hotel a few blocks away that was very overcrowded and the service was nowhere near what the ritz offered us! Hope to see you guys soon 🙏
I had the pleasure of visiting the spa located at this hotel. The staff were welcoming. I would recommend some updating the waiting area. The valet parking was only $15. Spa services do not entitle guests who aren't staying at the hotel to the facilities. However, the staff were accommodating upon out misunderstanding. I received the scrub and deep tissue massage. My therapist, Bernard, was by far one of the absolute 💯 BEST therapist I have ever had. He is a professional, understands the body, and simple crafted at his job. THANK YOU BERNARD!!!!! 😊
This place is truly exceptional. The level of hospitality here has been unparalleled by any other place in the States. Dare I say, the world? I have had the fortune of this place being my only Miami hotel experience, and I would only stay here if I could. The view is incredible, the neighborhood seems exclusive and quiet, the rooms are spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The elevators open up to two? three? rooms per floor, which makes it extremely private. To highlight details on the remarkable service received here:We arrived tired and hungry after the drive from Key West at around midnight. As soon as we drove up, we were greeted warmly along with bottles of water and inquiries about how our trip over was and if we needed anything. When I asked about food options, our bellman (Alex, if I remember correctly) immediately let us know that the kitchen was about to close, and that he would do what he can so that we have food before going to bed. He proceeded to run in to the building, facilitating with the front desk team, so that we could order food from the lobby, even before check-in.After a wonderful check-in experience, Alex took us to our room and went over the functions. Check out was also very memorable, Ana was also very amiable, and really made an effort to connect on a more personal level. It worked! A year later, I still remember. The only downside would possibly be that the lobby doesn’t feel very “grand” (personal opinion), and the breakfast buffet felt simple at best. Maybe ordering à la carte is the way to go.My stay was about a year from today, so this review is extremely overdue, but I wanted to remember it and share it. Hope not much has changed, for my future visits to come. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
From the moment we stepped foot inside the hotel, we felt absolutely pampered. The extra details, including toys delivered to our room & providing cribs & baby supplies upon request were very helpful when coming from out of town. There were kid friendly activities every day of our stay including an animal show by the pool & balloon animals in the lobby with fresh cookies! These experiences were so entertaining for us and our kids alike and helped to make our stay unforgettable. We were actually able to relax which isn’t always possible to do on vacation with a one and two year old! The staff was exceptional in taking care of our every need, including allowing late check out due to a 7pm flight & delivering antibiotic ointment to our room for our son when asked. Thank you so much for taking care of us! We were so sad to leave but cannot wait to come back.
There is a reason I keep returning to this hotel. My check-in is always flawless. The bellmen remember me by name welcoming me with the happiest smiles. The suite is spacious, gorgeous and clean. The service is quick and nothing is ever an issue. The in room dining is delicious and they always get it right. My room gets cleaned rather quick which is so refreshing and and they do a fantastic job. I personally think the general manager does a great job training the entire staff. Having the spa downstairs and working out is another added plus. The pool is refreshing and the beach is beautiful along with the service there as well. Love the sweet surprising afternoon treats in the lobby where this time they served us complimentary ice-cream. They topped it with fresh brewed coffee making it a homemade coffee ice cream. When I think my stays cannot get better it always does.
Went here with my fiancé to see the venue for our wedding. Emilie at the front desk was so nice and helpful. She showed us around the hotel and answered all of our questions. We also had lunch at the hotel restaurant (forgot the name), this experience was also 5/5 stars. Great food and even better customer service. Definitely going to stay there one of these days for the full experience.
I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour recently with family. The property is in a quieter, affluent residential area of Miami Beach, which is why I chose it as a weekend getaway trip for my parents instead of the sister property in South Beach. The customer service on the whole was good. The food and amenities were okay, although not up to the standard of 5-star property that is charging upwards of $1,000/night.The most disappointing part of the stay was a poorly handled security concern in the middle of the night. Around midnight, our family was rudely awaken by a loud party happening in the room next door (mind you, most floors only have two rooms). There were several intoxicated people going in and out, standing in hallways, playing music, screaming, and crying with no consideration. After calling the front desk multiple times for assistance, security was not able to handle the situation, and my family was forced to haul all of our belongings into a new room on a different floor - we were instructed not to leave anything behind to pick up in the morning. Even though the staff had apologized for not being able to do anything, there was no effort to "make it right" then and when we checked out.Overall, it was a failure on many levels and is making me think twice about continuing with Marriott as a travel partner in the future.
The hotel is situated at the end of Collins ave, it has only one restaurant, which we only had breakfast at. The choices were ample, and well done, although a bit pricey. All other restaurants are a 20 minute walk, (a very nice beach walkway)closer to Bal Harbor shops/ Harding Ave. as well as a variety of kosher restaurants. The room we had was as described, large ocean view-Bathroom large, shower was great- good water pressure. We had tiny issues when arriving, which were solved immediately ( safe not working, needed batteries)I liked the fact that the elevator went right up to our room entrance. ( just another room was next to us) no walking down a long corridor.
I was supposed to stay at the Ritz-Carlton at South Beach between 10/16-10/22, but was relocated to Bal Harbor while I was boarding my flight in Boston. My reservation was cancelled because of an air-conditioning failure. No problem, I don't fault the hotel for that, things happen. Upon arriving at the Bal Harbor location, my room was upgraded to a King Suite with an ocean view, two bathrooms, two balconies, and a kitchen. I was okay with the upgrade as I was inconvenienced by the air conditioning issue. After the first night my American Express card kept getting charged. The first night was $800, the next night was $2,000, then $1,500, etc. When I checked with the desk on this, I was told this was because they wanted to keep my credit line available so I could charge things to my room such as drinks, spa, room service, etc. I think that was excessive and not accurate information. As the week progressed, I was charged thousands more. The night before I checked out I asked the desk again why I kept getting charged. I was then given a print out of my statement. I had a bill over $9,700. Keep in mind I had already booked everything online for the South Beach location which included my 6 night stay and airline tickets. I was being charged $1,680 a night for the room that was supposed to be a "complimentary upgrade". To the credit of the staff, I had this taken care of (rightfully so) by the manager. My bill upon check out was $299.70 for the resort fees and tax. I still had over $8,000 pending on my American Express card. Those transactions went away roughly a week after my stay. I thought that was the end of it. Rather disappointingly, it was not. Fast forward to 11/8, I was charged an additional $6,300. I called and they told me their accounting department would handle it in 7-10 business days. I've reached out to AMEX and they're on standby to dispute the charge if necessary. I am highly disappointed with the Ritz-Carlton for the mismanagement of my credit card while I was on vacation. This has left a really bad taste in my mouth for the Ritz and I was hoping for a better stay with the reputation they have. $1,680 a night and breakfast isn't even included! My vacation was completely ruined due to the relocation and the stress I was caused by the thousands of dollars worth of charges. I don't expect to be compensated for my bad experience. I just wish to have my experience shared.
