Everyone is so friendly here, especially Ms. Camille, Ms. Jaime, and Ms. Dixie! True hospitality at this beautiful hotel. Our first stay but not the last…
Enjoyed our stay here. The lobby was beautiful. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast was delicious! Overall, we were pleased with our stay.
Great accommodations, staff was friendly even at night. The gym was ok but enough to maintain fitness. Breakfast spread was substantial and they had additional purchases if desired. I appreciate their hair and body wash set up.
We usually stay at other hotels and we were optimistic about being this close to the airport. But we were wrong, one of the most quiet and cleanest hotels the we have stayed in. All of the employees from front desk to house keeping and everyone inbetween were excellent to us. The only issue was taken care of extremely quickly. Very pet friendly too. With all that being said we were only about 75 miles from home traveling with our big bully and didn't have one issue. We will be staying here again.
Headed down for the breakfast. As a diamond member, I’ve been to numerous Hilton properties, specially Hilton Garden Inn. I must say this hotel offers the worst breakfast option. Anything was barely edible. Eggs cold. Sausages ice cold. Coffee was cold. Just gross overall. When I came down, I saw the restaurant and though about not eating there at all, it was completely empty. Unfortunately, the hotel is located in an area where the nearest restaurant was about 1.5 miles away, so I had no choice since I had a few meetings that day. Definitely, avoiding this “restaurant” next time. Just DoorDash something next time.
This is a very nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and the room was bright and clean. The on site restaurant was very good and the service was exceptional. We were traveling with our dog and she was made to feel very welcome. We have stayed in Gulfport several times but had not stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. This will definitely be our hotel of choice for future trips to Gulfport.
The front desk staff (Alissa sp?) was great. After arriving I requested two bottom floor room’s because of the many items we needed to bring in. Alissa was amazing and was able to accommodate this request. She also was able to recommend a great seafood restaurant nearby. Overall, this is a nice place to stay when traveling! Highly recommend it!
Thank you, Dewanda, and the staff for your recommendations on places to eat during my short stay in GPT. Everything was convenient to this location: the airport across the way; quick access to the interstate; eateries galore just around the corner; Half Shell was an amazing recommendation. I know where I'll stay when I'm in the area...
Came in Friday afternoon so tired from traveling. The cook found me some hot chocolate because it's cold & raining. Snuggled in bed drinking my hot chocolate. About to be??
I booked two rooms for my daughter competition. One room had roaches and the other room linen was not changed prior to our stay. The linen was filthy and had dog hair all over it (my daughter has asthma).. the front desk clerk stated it’s only a roach and they couldn’t do anything to accommodate us (all rooms sold out) I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place!
It was a last minute thing since I had a flight change and the staff was the friendliest I can remember in a long time as a frequent flyer. Tina S. was the sweetest lady and offered free shuttle to Walmart and back to the terminal. Awesome folks!
Whole place smells like cigarettes, the old white lady at the front desk at 6:45 am 7/16/24 was super rude when I asked for a new key. She really makes the whole place look bad.
WiFi doesn’t work well. It’s super slow, and they have 3 networks. I was on the right network after walking down to letting the front desk attendant know. There were spots on the covers .. maybe oil stains?? No late checkout. I asked for extra face cloths and was advised it was some in the room. There were only 2 and the one I washed with had hair stuck in it. I didn’t see it until midway through the shower. It’s not mine because I don’t have any hair on my body. I advise the attendant who then gave me two more but he recorded that he gave me two. I thought that was weird, because who is stealing cheap Walmart face cloths? The phone doesn’t ring to the front desk, it kept giving a busy signal. The drinks in the store part of the hotel were over priced, because why is everything $3? I went to the gas station. It was pretty quiet in the hotel and I didn’t see any bugs. The bed was not that comfortable. It was more on the firm side. I did like the fact, they don’t charge a deposit, so that’s the only reason I would probably stay again.
Passing through and needed a place to rest. The guy at the front desk was great and very hospitable. The issue i had was with the room itself. When we walked into the room, it was very muggy, sticky and smelled of mildew due to the air being off. When we turned the air conditioner on, the smell still remained and it was hard to breath. The headboards and walls were dirty looking. When pulling back the sheets on one of the beds... someone's finger nail was there and there were stains on the sheets. We went to the other bed, and it appeared to be cleaner but we did ask for clean sheets because we did not trust the cleanliness. The front desk guy gave us new sheets and apologized for the dirty sheets.Overall, i would not stay here again or recommend this place to friends or family. You get what you pay for.
All the tub jacuzzi are no longer set up to be used, I wanted to stay for that reason. Room had slight mildew smell but customer service was good. They do have continental breakfast.
in general a good hotel, BUT very bad wi fi, friendly staff, the room was very clean when we entered and smelled good) and not yet comfortable pillowcases, probably synthetics)
Front desk was very rude and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. First off one front desk person called me to make me prepay for my room as I was traveling to Olive Branch from out of town. The next thing the other front desk person stated to me that I would have to pay $10 a child for two children even though I had a room with double beds. He had to call the person who made me prepay to tell him that's ok.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars all the way across is because the phone in the room did not work which meant we had to go down to the front desk whenever we needed to. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable - and best of all the price was right. Great value for the money.
This was once a lovely hotel tucked away from Goodman Rd in Olive Branch. We've stayed there many times but it's been awhile since we stayed. I was shocked and dismayed by how far down this hotel has gone down in almost every area.It used to have lush, plentiful and CLEAN towels. This is the towel that was in our bathroom. All of them were the cheapest kind. The pillows were cheap and lumpy. The blanket was extraordinarily thin and ineffective. The comforter was the same thinnest one that could be used. The complimentary soaps etc were of the cheapest I've ever come across in a hotel.I felt like I had to go get a towel, get the water hot, put soap on it and clean every surface. I was afraid it hadn't been cleaned at all!!We paid $84 to stay in a Do Drop Inn quality hotel. If Magnolia is going to be substandard in every way then I believe it should drastically drop their nightly rate.To the management and ownership of Magnolia: shame....on....you!!!! You took the BEST in a hotel experience and made it the worst!!!
Cleaning staff stole personal property from the room. Owners to cheap and lazy to provide breakfast anymore. Pool was filled in with concrete! The room itself was amazing! Just make sure you leave nothing in your room for the day!
A response to Mr. Terry S. review:I have been staying in this hotel since February. I’m not sure where you have been staying Sir, but there isn’t an ounce of racism in the Owner, the manager, the desk clerks or any of the staff! They all are nice and respectful and very kind and helpful. As long as you are following their rules and being respectful and kind, you have NO problem here! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
