Excellent place to work.Excellent place to stay. The food is Soooo DELICIOUS.Elegant, relaxing atmosphere.Great place to have Holiday parties or wedding receptions.
We booked the King Suite. One of the most spacious we've seen.!! Went to main floor for dinner and bottle of wine. Service was good. Steak was delicious. Wife had chicken sandwich.Fries surprised us both how good they were. Definitely doing the Italian restaurant setting next time
Great experience! Very quiet even on the weekends. The location is perfect. Rooms well designed and the beds are very comfortable! And of course everything was very clean! Only wish they had more vegetarian options for room service, but the items they already have are great! Will definitely be back here again!! ???
Lack of service and didn't meet expectations (broken crib for toddler, no morning rides available to go into town, made mistakes with our order at the Cafe, nothing extra for kids although advertised on their website, most of the staff are unfriendly). Room is clean and spacious but not worth it for the price.
We were planning our wedding here. The rooms were beautiful. The hotel itself was gorgeous. We signed a contract securing our wedding date. It was a one stop shop. The hotel had everything we needed. But 3 weeks into planning, we were asked to move our wedding date because a bigger corporation wanted our date for their event. We declined and they kept offering us "incentives". We still declined. They kept pushing us to move to gain the bigger profit. I finally got frustrated and told them that if the corporation had the date first their answer to us would have been that the date was booked. Why were we not given the same respect? We were then given the "option" to get our deposit back. At that time, we choose to give up our venue. I don't want to work with a facility that just serves for the bigger dollar. I am very disappointed with the way everything went down. Anyone knows that when planning a wedding, the venue is the foundation. So back to square one. Do not plan your event here. They won't honor their contract. But they'll sure expect you to!
The location is good. Rooms are decent. The service at the desk is not good at all. Despite being gone elite member, they don't serve you well - no courtesy. The breakfast is below average. No filling veg options - only fruits. Brown bread was out and no one really cares to refill it. Not a hotel I would visit again.
The breakfast buffet is really good. The rooms, bar and lobbies are clean (I have high standards). My only complaint is the thermostats are locked and cannot be adjusted below 68 degrees - I sleep hot and woke up multiple times each night which made me miserable. My husband had the same problem. The staff said they do not have any fans so IRRITATED by all of that. I am very eco conscious but the unadjustable thermostat is a step too far. Seriously, I carry my stainless steel water bottle on the plane, use toothpaste tablets and deodorant in a paper tube, etc.
Very good Hotel. We loved the pool & hot spa. You will see the photos below for reference of how convenient it is with bathrooms and showers right outside the pool, along with towels, etc. One thing to definitely bring is pool shoes/flip flops because the tile floor is very slippery. As far as the room, the King Executive Suite was very nice because the kids were separated in the living room area with their own TV ? & sleeper sofa. The shower ? is amazing with strong pressure & hot water in seconds. The service desk gives you free water bottles when you ask, very cool ?. There is plenty of parking in the lot. The food around town is plentiful and very nearby. Also, you do have a restaurant on-site along with a Starbucks. The only thing we didn't care for was there was no microwave in the room. This would be our only recommendation. It was a very nice and relaxing weekend...
Recommend only staying here if part of a group - this hotel is very out of the way, unless you have business in Naperville. This was a very average Marriott stay for us. Staff was not quite as friendly as I expect from Marriott and rooms left much to be desired. Rooms were very bland decor-wise and lacked touches I expect from a 3-star property: room fridges were available "by request only" and one side of the bed lacked any power outlets.
We were greeted by some local geese that just hang out in the parking lot without a care in the world, which I thought was very cool. It's a lovely hotel, it has a bar and diner in the hotel so if you just want to stay in you don't have to worry about anything. The Starbucks in the hotel got plenty of my business as well ? the room was great as well and when I locked myself out of my room the staff was easy to talk to and helped me get back in quickly with zero fuss
