Omgosh. I am literally a hotel critic and always finding flaws with our stays. This was our first time staying here. Best hotel. Weve been to in long long time. Exceptionally clean and smells great thruout the whole place. Cleanest hot tub around and perfect size clean pool. Free breakfast. Along, with free evening happy hour. A few snacks. And beer. Wine or mixed. They even accommodate our unexpected early arrival. We loved our stay. And will definitely be back. What an affordable place for family's to stay. Well worth every minute of our stay.
The Hispanic lady that was in charge of both the evening reception, as well as the breakfast in the morning was extremely rude and unwelcoming! I believe she was unhappy that my teenage daughter put the cartoon “Family Guy” on the television during the evening reception. She then proceeded to turn the tv off with her other remote and then continued to give both my daughter and I very nasty looks afterwards. To make matters even worse, this continued the next morning at breakfast, and made my daughter extremely uncomfortable. I ignored it to the best of my ability, as I did not want to cause any additional problems. This was very immature and unprofessional of your staff lady however! I hope that she is reprimanded, as this was completely unacceptable! On the other hand, the lady that checked us in was very sweet and welcoming, and I felt very appreciated by her!The scrambled eggs were inedible, as they had a chewy consistency that completely resembled rubber, and I find very few food items inedible! I’m unsure of what happened to this location since my last visit exactly 1 year ago, but it’s a shame, as this used to be one of my go to lodging preferences when visiting the Schaumburg area. After this last visit, I am now very reluctant to return, and likely will not, at least for the foreseeable future.
We stayed here recently and it was quite a disappointment. I don't understand how this place gets such high ratings. Good thing is that our room was clean and the location was close to a lot of food options, but in general I think this was probably one of the most ghetto hotels I've been to honestly. The floors and walls are thin (we could hear our neighbors talking next to our wall). The floors would creak. We could hear people talking and doors banging in the hallway at night. Beds were ok (spring beds) and on the soft side. Towels were thin. Carpeting could use a facelift. Breakfast was underwhelming and consisted of scrambled eggs and breakfast sausages (the only warm food options), make your own waffles , muffins, oatmeal, toast, cereal, bananas, milk, juice and coffee. The biggest disappointment is that even though we chose a non-smoking room, the hallways smelled like marijuana, even though displayed signs said it's not allowed. I didn't book a hotel for my family to be surrounded by the smell of weed. We won't be staying here again.
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is conveniently located, clean...beds are squeaky and feel older. The rooms were quiet. The breakfast could have more fruit options, only bananas were available
While in town for business, I found this Country Inn & Suites via Google. There were so many bad reviews of other hotels in the area, I'm glad I found this place. I found it easy to get to and the rooms were nice. I ended up staying an additional night. Unfortunately I had to change rooms for the last night. Easy enough. With that said, I can say both rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The room did have a mini fridge, microwave, safe, ironing board, and iron. The only reason for the four star service was that one morning, they didn't have normal coffee. They served make your own instant coffee (pass). Breakfast was OK.
Your restaurant was terrible - the seating process was weird, the table was not clean, the food took forever (plus a group of adults AFTER us was served before us even though we had 2 children), and when it finally arrived the starters arrived with the main course, COLD of course. When we rushed downstairs at 6:20am the next morning to make the shuttle on time, we only found the bus unattended. We went to the desk and asked if the "shuttle guy" had already left or if he was not making the 6:30 run to the terminal. I then got lectured to by one of your employees who said "who are you talking about? oh, the DRIVER? we call them the drivers. when I replied "that's who I'm asking about -- is he still making the 6:30 run?" He continued, "you see, when you said 'shuttle guy' I didn't know who you were talking about because we call them DRIVERS, not the Shuttle Guy." this went on for a couple tedious iterations until I said, "so can you give us a ride or not?" At least the guy who drove was very nice, just like the one from the night before.I've met Jonathan Tisch and read his book "Chocolates on the Pillow Aren't Enough," and discussed his approach to customer service. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't approve of this insulting and boorish behavior.
Loews Chicago O'Hare offers a wonderful stay. The room was very clean and overall was a pleasant experience. We couldn't hear the neighbors through the partition in the room. The bed was plush yet not too soft which I appreciated. I went down to the bar inside of Loews to had Margareta pizza that was delicious and so fresh! The drinks at the bar packed a punch as well.Disclaimer: This is my first time staying at a Loews but based off of this experience, I am considering staying at a Loews during my next trip to Toronto.
This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. From the beautiful room to amazing service we could not be happier with Loews. The only thing we didn't like was the additional cost for overnight parking but it still wasn't a huge inconvenience because it was stated when we booked our room, just wish it was included. Can't wait to stay here again next year!!
Best hotel ever! We’ve stayed several hotels around ORD airport, this one is a real one!Shuttle bus pick up at terminal 3, the driver was pretty helpful and friendly. The room was pretty clean and big. They provided all shower needs products but didn’t have toothpaste and toothbrush. Their bathtub shower system was awesome, especially water temperature works great.Carpet was clean and the bed were great. The only problem is they only provided $8 water bottle if you need to drink water in the room.Very nice room to relax after long hours flight, and also very quiet.Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our well maintained comfortable room and especially appreciated the in-room robes provided, that were cuddly, soft, and warm. They provided a homey feeling. The room was super clean, well organized, and made effective use of the space while still maintaining an open, refreshing feel. Great place to relax before and after enjoying the Smooth Jazz concerts at the theater.
