More Romantic Hotels with Hot Tub in room Near Sacramento
Just spent two days at The Villas at Arden Hils. Our room was perfect. Anthony was a wonderful host and gave us personal attention. This will always be my go-to place when I visit Sacramento.
My husband and I recently celebrated our 15th anniversary. We had no plans because COVID. So decided to stay in the Capri Garden Suite for a night. We had an amazing experience, dinner at Chavoor followed by a long bath in the suite. We had a wonderful breakfast the next morning. The Tuscan design is stunning, all set in a garden oasis. We were well taken care of.
I stayed in Valencia and it is pretty, but rundown. The heat did not work and neither did the gas fireplace in my room so it was cold at night. The bed sheet was covered with an old curtain. I was too cold to use the pretty spa bathtub, so do not know if that worked. I came in on a Saturday night and there was nowhere to eat. The young man who checked me in was no concerned about my discomfort. I stayed there for three nights, so got a good idea about the place. I complained and they took 15% off my bill. They thought my discomfort was worth around $150. This would not be acceptable at Best Western! There were some shady characters with nice cars who parked and hung out in back of the Villa building.
I know this place very well for having taken family members here. The rooms are gorgeous. But, each time there was something wrong. For my 1st stay here, it was really less than average. We arrived at 11.15 to a disgusting room, with beds undone, dirty towels, used glasses of water, all tv cables unplugged, and a warm smelly charcuterie platter offered as an apology to the previous occupants. Room service came & when I left to let them do their thing I mentioned we had just arrived to that mess. When I came back an hour later, only the beds had been made & the towels changed. The stinky cheese platter was still there, the empty bottles of water, the used water glasses, the used soap bars, etc. Not sure they changed the sheets. The shower was so clugged that we had water till our ankles & the room was adjacent to source of water (fountain?) So loud that I had to sleep with earplugs. This guest house could be so much better if the owners actually cared. That's really a waste of a gorgeous space. And so disappointing for the price we pay a night!!
The rooms are luxurious. The tub is a Jacuzzi. The shower is separate and has great water pressure. The TV can be seen from both the tub and the bed. Really enjoyed my stay.
This is a great place to stay, with top of the line amenities. Our beautiful room was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and the chef was friendly.
This was our second time staying here. The rooms are great- clean, nicely furnished, cute. They now have in person check in. The staff person was very nice and offered suggestions for eats and drinks in the area. We scootered and walked around to various spots. Almost wish it were located in a different area. However, We enjoyed our stay and would return.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Serenity Suite in the Parkside Villas building (next door to the main building at the historic Fong Mansion). Our room was clean and comfortable, and the giant jacuzzi tub in the room was awesome. We also got a spa package that melted away the stress of months of wedding planning. (Their downstairs spa area is beautiful and relaxing) The hotel is in a great location near so many tasty restaurants, and only a ten minute walk to Beers Books!
You will not find a more amazing room for a better rate in downtown Sacramento than the Harmony suite at The Inn and Spa at Parkside Inn. Bedroom, living room, full kitchen, beautiful bathroom with spa tub. Amazing staff in a great location. Don't think twice if it's available.
We rented the Destiny Room and everything was just as described! My husband and I were very pleased with our whole experience. The woman working there even let us check in early. They also responded very quickly to all text messages. And another thing we both noticed, was that the room was set to the PERFECT temperature.
This is the most unreasonable property that I have ever dealt with!! The owner is nasty and condescending!! I'm only getting started on sharing my knowledge of them! DO NOT BOOK A ROOM WITH THIS PROPERTY!! The music world and fans of music will not want to associate with this property moving forward!! You very well may regret it if you do!!!P.S...as noted in the previous negative review and pictures on the website, they absolutely advertise a "spa bathtub" in one of the rooms as noted by the pictures showing a beautiful, jetted tub! Her entire review is spot on! The owners reply to her review shows his condescending and nasty attitude! Not a way to treat his "customers"! He is one nasty human being!!
We stayed in the Refresh room which is so nice it has a hot tub and a shower in the main room a balcony and a half bath a TV u can angle at the hot tub or the bed and watch anything on Netflix everybody who worked there was very kind and clear. Would recommend to anybody who wanted to relax.
Title: Misleading Advertising and Disappointing ExperienceRating: ★☆☆☆☆Review:My recent stay at the Parkside Inn in Sacramento, California was a complete disappointment. The room I booked showed a picture of a luxurious spa tub, which was the main reason for my choice. However, upon arrival, I was shocked to find that there was no spa tub in the room. The pictures were a false representation of amenities the website is highly misleading and deceptive.Furthermore, the hotel's name suggests the presence of a spa, and their website even mentioned available spa services. However, much to my dismay, there were no spa services offered at all. which is confusing and does not align with the advertised services. Additionally, the website boasted about being a historical bed-and-breakfast, but the reality is that the place is sparsely decorated with an Asian theme. Moreover, the breakfast they offer was at an additional cost. The experience. It lacked the charm and historical significance that one would expect. The overall ambiance and decor of the establishment were a far cry from the inviting and cozy atmosphere I had anticipated.I feel deceived and let down by the Parkside Inn. The misrepresentation of amenities and false advertising created a false expectation that was not met during my stay. I strongly advise against considering this establishment for anyone seeking a spa experience or a traditional bed and breakfast atmosphere.
If I could give no stars I would. The customer service is terrible. I asked to change the reservation or cancel it. Something happened with me and we couldn’t make it. I asked the night before my reservation and they said they can’t cancel or change reservation. They charged $400 for one night and they are saying here $200! Terrible.
This was our second stop on our honeymoon and an absolutely fantastic experience. Our concierge, Sentry, was absolutely awesome. As the rooms were not very booked up when we went, she took us around to see the rooms that weren't occupied. She picked up on how cool we thought the rooms were and offered us a walk-around the facilities and every room was absolutely gorgeous. Our room was the Happiness suite and it was absolutely amazing. We are short, and that certainly came in handy. As beautiful as it is, I would not recommend if you are tall. They left us a complimentary wine which was very much appreciated and the color-changing skylights and the hot-tub were such cool parts of the room. Incredible honeymoon location!
We have been staying at Marriott's across California for years now. I am a bonvoy member as well. I wanted to be close to the city of Santa Cruz so thought Capitola would be nice. The location was perfect! So so so glad we did not stay at the Marriott in Santa Cruz near the boardwalk. That area is very busy, but great if you want easy access to the boardwalk, the bowling alley, laser tag, the video arcade, the beach, and the wharf. Otherwise, you have to pay $20 to $30 a day to park. However, the Marriott in Capitola is far quieter and literally if you head down 41st Ave you head straight into some of the most stunning Pacific Ocean ? beach and surfing coastline you've ever seen. There is a free lot at the end of the street and amazing restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is nice too. The hotel has a nice outdoor pool and jacuzzi which tends to crowded often. The breakfast is till 10 am everyday and there is a small nice patio to eat on too. The breakfast isn't bad. We were on the third floor with a pull out sofa, which is twin sized and two queen beds. It was very quiet on the third floor. It was made that much nicer because our room had a sliding glass door with a walkout balcony. It was nice to get fresh air in everyday. The staff were very helpful. There is free hot coffee and tea and hot chocolate in the lobby all day. The nice thing is the parking feels very safe and secure because it is located under the hotel and is gated. You can walk down the street to a very nice movie theater and shopping mall. It's about 10 minutes to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk as well. Make sure to check out all the amazing redwood state parks within 20 to 30 minutes!
The room was beautiful and well kept. The kitchen is temporarily down, so the host left us a complementary bottle of wine in the room. She made sure we were well taken care. The jet tub and multi-head shower were amazing! Well worth it, we will be back!
